A crusade like no other.
The crusade that opens on Sunday in Phoenix will be like no other. I know this for five reasons. These are not just indicators. They are living proof that something is coming. Something the word “crusade” cannot describe.
What is coming? Some say an awakening. Others say it is a turning point for a massive region. Still others say we will see thousands saved in just four days. I say something completely different. I say only God knows what is coming.
Habakkuk 1:5 says, “Look among the nations and watch—be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you.” But I do know it is something big. And it will be unlike anything we have ever seen before. Here are my reasons:
1. Satan fought this crusade harder than any other.
With only a month left to go we were evicted from our venue. How can any mass crusade come back from that?
Not only did we come back—we came back stronger than we would have if this eviction had never happened. It only intensified our vision!
It would have gone easier for the devil had he not done this. The army of the Lord is more fired up than ever. Now there is a vengeance burning in the hearts of all our team.
Martin Luther said, “Satan only attacks those he fears.” Well, let me tell you—the attack on us was fierce!
Revelations 12:12 tells us, “Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time” (NKJV).
Why is hell having conniptions over this? Satan used every dirty trick he knew to try and stop it. What is going on here that frightens him so much?
Does he know something we do not know? Why are the powers of darkness convulsing over the Tent? What is going to fall on the crowd at the Arizona Fairgrounds?
2. The supernatural way we got a new venue.
We rushed an application to the Arizona State Fairgrounds. The day came when we had to have a contract. When their offices closed at 5 PM, we had no contract. The crusade was over.
I got the news at home. I was devastated. Strangely, I heard the voice of God say, “Go upstairs and pray.” Upstairs I felt a strong urge to read page 37 of the book, ‘Born for Battle’, by Arthur Matthews, before praying. These words jumped out at me:
“…deliverance from the power of the evil one comes through definite resistance on the ground of the cross.”
Suddenly, I began to address the enemy just as the book said. I told Satan the Fairgrounds was ours. My prayer turned to God the Father in total agreement with His will for Phoenix. Three minutes later I got a text from Steve Brown our media director. It read, “We have a contract.”
How could this be? It happened because a worker at the Fairgrounds headquarters stayed behind on Friday and worked until 8 PM to get our contract finished.
2 Chronicles 29:36, “Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people, since the events took place so suddenly.”
3. Shocking surge of volunteers.
Our volunteer numbers with only four weeks to go were the lowest ever. We had 280 volunteers. The last time it was that low we cancelled a crusade. The numbers barely changed with only three weeks left. Then it happened!
The greatest surge of workers on record. We now have over 800 volunteers! Only God could do this. Psalm 110:3 declares, “Your people will be willing volunteers in the day of Your power…”
4. The greatest hunger we have ever seen on the streets.
Frank Saldana who leads Inner City Action and our volunteer army told me something breathtaking. He told me that in all the street outreaches we have done—he has never seen souls saved on the streets like this.
Think of it! While some are getting saved, others come up and ask to be saved. Many hard cases are being delivered. Phoenix is under a holy siege.
Jesus said, “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” (John 4:35 NKJV).
It is a divine collision between the power of God and deep darkness. The river of God is now flowing where before only a river of fentanyl was flowing.
Who ever heard of this? A homeless camp organized a gathering so we could witness to them and pray for each person. Do you know how many of them gathered for us? 500 homeless people. Who ever heard of such a thing!
5. Our phone lines and emails have exploded.
If you have had trouble getting through there is a good reason. Our phone lines and emails have never been this busy. People are bringing their sick loved ones to the Tent from thousands of miles away.
No marketing can match the work of the Holy Spirit. He is brooding over Phoenix. He is building expectancy like I have never seen before. Is this—at long last—the explosion we have been waiting for? Only God knows, but who can dare say it is not?

LORD God Almighty – I pray that any evil doers that show up to Marios event in Phoenix will be given a huge touch by Your hand and instead of causing trouble, they will come to the altar of forgiveness and be saved. They will feel the Power of the Holy Spirit in such a huge and mighty way that it will transform their lives forever. These souls will go on to spread the word of God Almighty and save many souls within their dark circles. All darkness will be transformed to the Light of the LORD Jesus Christ and God Almighty. Amen

I am believing a sort of selfish prayer also. My son is in Phoenix and he has been wayward from Christ. For a long while. But he has a solid foundation in Christ and the Word. I am praying he runs smack into it. When he was little he couldn’t wait until armed and dangerous came on TBN.

I met a homeless man in a small town in Central California that told me he had been chased out of San Francisco and told to go to Arizona to escape the authoritarian orders by the current governor of California

The West coast states are now waging a war on their homeless population because the election is rapidly approaching
These governments have ignored these people for decades but now the have become a liability for these politicians because of the attention they draw to their failed policies
Please ask these homeless people why they are in Arizona and you will see that many of them are truly political refugees fleeing persecution in the socialist states of California, Oregon and Washington
Wonderful! Jesus is inviting the homeless, the sick, the poor, the naked, all manner of sinners, to his supper because those who were originally invited refused to go. Hallelujah! Praise God for all the miracles he is bringing to pass.

I have been praying for a long time that Mr Murillo would come to Arizona !! praise God !!!
I was in the spirit in the Lords day several years ago. As I was praying for America, I saw an eagle wrapped in the American flag lying on the ground in ashes. As I prayed I saw the eagle get up and struggle to fly. Little by little she flew and then burst into flame and turned into phoenix rising. I knew the message was two fold. Not only would America get up and burn for the Lord, but that something would happen in Phoenix Arizona as a witness. That same day driving through NC I saw a huge painting on a building of Phoenix Rising. Exciting to see what the Lord has planned.

I am a supporter of your ministry in prayers, and soon in finances. I too have been attacked, with the loss of a lucrative career position and home in January 2024, BUT GOD… promoted by my gracious Father in Heaven, I was taken care of for two months by family with shelter, and now have a new apartment home that came with my new position in Pensacola, FL. By the grace of God, I have stood, withstood and endured loss, heartbreak and hardships over 53 years since becoming a saved, holy spirit filled teenager in 1978! Hallelujah! In my early 40s, I was divorced, left to raise a family of two young sons who I could nurture to love the Lord and God’s Word in their young lives (now ages 29 and 31); and even have experienced the miracle working power of God to deliver my oldest son when he was just 21 from a drug addiction. Thanks be to God, now 10 years later he is clean and sober, loves God, yet is now being influenced by an eastern religion. The youngest lives in San Diego. Both need a radical encounter with Jesus Chris and I ask for intercession to be made for them to meet alive on fire Christians and fulfill the calling and destiny God has for each of them. I am now 63 years “young at heart,” and know God’s loving arms have brought me to such a time as this to impact the world with his Word and change lives with God’s love. I was blessed to be part of Flashpoint Live in Tulsa, OK and met a wonderful ministry staff member who helped my friend in need at that event. Such a blessing. God bless you Mario and family, ministry workers, and collaborators who serve the kingdom of God and of his Christ, for the vision you live day in and day out to reach the lost, and set them free. I love you and pray for this Courage Tour and Lance Wallnau, whom I adore, to bring fire and glory into a million souls going forth.

I’m praying that this will be more than a 4 day event. A fire will be lit in Phoenix awakening the churches AND members to reach and disciple the lost. Like when Jesus sent out the 72 in Luke 10. …and this fire will spread across the state even to small towns setting the churches on fire. Members will no longer sit idly and observing. They’ll become a Christian Army equipped to reach and disciple the lost. Not rejecting them when they walk in the door.
