I am going to tell you three facts about Christmas. These are not ordinary facts; they are facts that prove Jesus is the Son of God. But first I want to tell you why I wrote this.
Strangely enough, my message is not to those who doubt the existence of God. I am not even trying to inspire lukewarm believers to repent.
Oh no. This is for you—the warrior whose heart burns for God.
You are the ones who feel a special suffering in this hour. You held your ground. You have resisted the flood of immorality that is beyond words.
Oh no, this is for you—the warrior whose heart burns for God.
What really brings heartbreaks for those who are on fire for Christ in America is that they feel an attack coming from both directions. From one side they are vexed by the flood of evil, hate, and depravity.
From the other side, they feel alienated, walking out of worship centers that kowtow to an evil and adulterous generation. The righteous core says to each other, ‘This is not it! There has to be more.’
Imagine the feeling of being shunned by society and betrayed by your church. If they could find the words, it would probably be the psalmist’s cry, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3).
What can we do? First you must remember you are not foolish to love God with all your heart. You did not check your brain at the door when you surrendered to Jesus. Your beliefs are the best there are.
We have a message for those who doubt our sanity. We have a defense for our declaration of faith! We say:
You did not check your brain at the door when you surrendered to Jesus.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the best thing mankind has ever heard. J.R.R. Tolkien, author of The Lord of the Rings, said, “There is no other story we would rather find true.”
No other message (it’s not even close) has such hope and power. Investigate the length and breadth of human misery. Do a deep dive into world history. Study how to end wars and injustice. Do it with intellectual honesty and you will wind up at the foot of the Cross.
Our commitment to Jesus is not based on emotion, wishful thinking or a fallacy. The Gospel is based on proof. Never forget that!
Many do not realize how much proof is in the Christian faith. Acts 17:31 says, “For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”
When Paul the apostle preached, he did not just make the case—he proved it! Acts 9:22, “But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ.”
Many do not realize how much proof is in the Christian faith.
Here are three words: WHEN, WHERE, WHAT. These words hold the proof of Christmas.
1. When Jesus was born: He was born at the time of the fourth monarchy, just as Daniel predicted. 540 years earlier Daniel interpreted the King’s dream. It showed that four world powers would rise up and during the reign of the fourth, the Messiah would come.
Daniel 2:44, “And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a Kingdom which shall never be destroyed…”
Matthew Henry said, “He was born in the days of Augustus Caesar, when the Roman empire extended itself further than ever before or since, including Parthia one way, and Britain another way; so that it was then called Terraram orbis imperium—The empire of the whole earth…”
2. Where Jesus was born: He was born in Bethlehem. Just as Micah had written 512 years before. Micah 5:2, “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.”
When Caesar Augustus taxed the whole world, he did it to make his government more powerful. But He did not know the hand of God was in it to get Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem. He did it in policy, but God did it in prophecy. The whole word was troubled and changed in order to fulfill prophecy.
3. What happened to Mary: Why was she spared? When she was found to be with child she was spared from being stoned because the angels appeared to the shepherds. This miracle was so compelling that it removed her reproach.
Luke 2:8-12, “Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
Proof is a powerful thing—an irresistible thing. As Peter said, “For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. (2 Peter 1:12).
Christmas proves that Jesus is the Son of God and by default it proves we belong to Him! Rejoice warrior of God! Our life in God is more real, more verifiable than anything going on around us!

The Roman government didn’t allow the Jews to perform capital punishment
If they had , there’d have been no need for the highest court in Israel ( Sanhedrin ) to send Jesus to Pilate
This made the stoning of Mary out of the question
And also would have made the stoning of the woman taken in adultery illegal under Roman law
In fact , Jesus’ s enemies used the tactic of trying to make Jesus choose between Roman law and Jewish law to bring an accusation to the Romans or discredit him before The People
Just like with the tax question, they thought he could find
NO WAY OUT
But by TURNING THE TABLES

He reminded them that the
ACCUSERS
were required by Jewish law to throw the first rock
These scoundrels didn’t have any conscience, so it wasn’t a sense of their own sinfulness that caused them to slink away from

it was simply fear of the Roman government
Amen Marcus! Even if the Sanhedrin Counsel did have authoity at the time, Mary would have been taken to court, she would have given her witnesses and also witnesses against her. There would have had to been at least 2 or 3 witnesses against her for her to be sentenced as guilty. The woman and man caught in audultry—all witnesses against her left and only Jesus was left with her. Sheperds have no authority what so ever to stone anyone even if the Sanhedrin Counsel was functioning.
Regarding Daniel and the 4th monarch, finish reading that scripture the eternal kingdom I belive is our eternal life and not this one.

I am a retired, 65 year old woman who was recently diagnosed with ALS. I was dying in February from severe malnutrition and serious abdominal illnesses that required surgery I could not survive. I was saved so I made peace with my God and said goodbye to my family. But at the last moment God put a surgeon from Austria who was visiting in my path and though he too thought I would die he decided to try the surgery I needed but break it up into two days, placing me in a coma to decrease stress on my body. He did surgery one on Tuesday. Left the wound open and finished Friday. It was touch and go but six days later I came out of the coma and made the most surprising total recovery. Everyone was surprised. But I knew God saved me for a reason. My testimony. Then six weeks ago after a long time of losing the ability to walk suddenly I was diagnosed with the terminal Lou Gerigs disease. I spend a couple weeks wondering why God saved my life for this. Then I saw two sermons online and listened to my Assistant Pastor Todd speak. One pastor was Ken Christmas and the other of the three was you. From the three God told me I am a voice to speak out about His great love. Yes I have a terminal illness. Average 2-5 years. But by all rights I should have died in February. No other reason than the surgeon was a Christian who kneeled with my husband in the waiting room before surgery and prayed with him. My family and church prayed. Then through the three of you I learned God gave me more time with my family than I would have had. We still have time for memories. We still have time to spread the Word. I learned too that Jesus is and has always been faithful. To God and to us. He went the distance and never said enough or boohooed that his time was ending. Sure he would have been fine if God had taken the burden but Jesus was faithful and stayed the course. We have the responsibility to remain faithful just as Jesus did. To gripe and complain or bemoan life’s turn of events isn’t showing faith. I don’t have to be happy about life’s turn of events but I do need to make the most of what I do have. Jesus showed the love for all of us and I need to continue my faithfulness by loving others and being an example. Sure there will be good days and some not so good but I take them one at a time and trust the faithfulness of God to get me through the bad ones. Finally, on Sunday my pastor was speaking about the Wise Men and the leap of faith they took to follow a star. He said people think in a much more simple way than God. Like playing games. People tend to think along the lines of checkers-a simple game with simple moves and occasional more thoughtful moves to play the game. But God has much more infinite thinking and plays chess. Chess is complex and requires more thought and knowing of the outcomes. God understands the end from the beginning. We look at the beginning to plan the end but often get surprised. God knows the end. God is good. Always good. Therefore HE knows the end while we do not. God would never hurt me and what happens in life will work out in the end so we need to keep the end game in our sites. With all my heart I want the day I can see my Lord God. Whether it’s at his feet or in His arms or both it doesn’t matter as long as I am there. So I choose to take one day at a time. To choose to know that what happens in this world is momentary and forever is much longer. And I am choosing to spread my testimony far and wide. Deborah, what a tough thing you have had to walk! Satan is not willing to let you go. You clearly do too much damage to his kingdom, and he needs to silence you. You serve the highest authority– the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is Jehovah Rapha, Himself. Your Father is your healer. Likewise, Jesus took stripes for your healing…and He was faithful to heal everyone who asked. The Bible is clear about divine healing. (You can learn more by doing your own Bible study or going to jglm.org–John G Lake Ministries.) I know that many churches teach unbelief in healing, but this has been done by none other than Satan. No surprise, he has deceived the masses and rendered the church powerless. I encourage you to close down those voices in your life, even the voices of your doctors. Believe your God–the great I AM (all you need)–for all His promises. Deborah, as a fellow believer, I command the spirit of infirmity to release you, in Jesus’ name. I declare that you are healed and whole in every way! Now…let your words always reflect belief in your beloved Jehovah Rapha. Even science–Quantum mechanics–has now proven that what we believe and say alters microparticles to create desired matter. Science supports that “faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen”. Blessings on you!
The frustration for those who are fully trained by God, 5-fold ministry filled with Word of God and no one will look at you or hear you and you can’t find a church where you can hear what you need to hear! I drive 500 mines to preach at Froid Faith Farm Christian Fellowship in Eastern Montana because they preach Truth!
