Many believers are still shocked and dismayed. Why did abortion score so many election victories? The answer is clear. Christians voted for abortion. These laws could not have passed without their vote.
Why would anyone who claims to follow Jesus vote to kill babies?

Abortion is murder. It not a right, or a family decision. Abortionists love to bring up the cases of rape, incest, or the life of the mother. But these account for less than one percent of unwanted pregnancies.
What is the reason for the other 99 percent? And why does a free and prosperous society need to kill so many of their own children? The answer is that Americans are addicted to a lifestyle.

Paul predicted these kind of believers.

For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.”

On the other hand there is the remnant who are like the church of Philadelphia. Revelation 3:8, “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”

This brazen time of celebrity preachers, false prophets, and morally confused Christians is helping to destroy America. God will not leave them unpunished.
But those who cling to the Word of God and persevere will not only thrive through the storm—they will bring in a massive harvest of souls—and miracles—and can save our nation.
Choose this day which you want: punishment or protection.
I was brought up in a small Baptist Church in southern us and things have really changed since then and I personally have been through many traumatic experiences and recently fill like I’ve been given thanks to Jesus an anointing of The Holy Spirit more than I’ve ever experienced, I respect Mario point of view and want to help, I want to ask advice on everything I should be doing, I am 61 years old but really wanting to find people who are knowledgeable and keeping The True Gospel of Jesus to help me. I feel like you do, I do not go to church anymore as they are more of a concert setting and the HolySpirit is missing, I just finished reading Mario’s post and totally agree with him, I can get more from my Bible and from here than from any church I have recently tried, we need more people like Mario, I thank God for him and his way of teaching, He is telling us the truth, I know what he says is true because the last church I went to when one lady mentioned who she voted for was asked how can you vote for someone who promotes abortion, her answer was because he is democrat and I only vote democrat but I thought Ohio was a red state but does not look like it, sorry for the rambling but I do miss church but just cannot go to them

Stop voting for “personalities” for important representative offices and educate yourself on the party platforms they represent! Get a voters guide and find out what the platforms intentions are. The Democratic party unappolegetically advocates abortion on demand and if you voted for that party you also voted for that too.
So if after having read what the party stands for and their intentions if elected, you can still vote for them, do us all a favor and quit calling yourself a “Christian” because at that point all that blood is on YOUR hands as much as if you were in attendance at an abortion procedure and assisted in it!

I am thinking along that line as well. Elections have been corrupted for years, keeping the unfit in office. The facts of this are clear and in our face. Right on! It is sad that so many of the “right wing” politicians want to avoid the abortion issue or simply compromise. Very few will embrace this issue and call it what it is. Murder. 75% of people who call themselves Christians believe in a twisted version of the Gospel. Anything goes!! They live a sinful life, because God is a loving God who won’t send anyone to Hell. Repentance isn’t necessary. Once you say the prayer you’re in! They tell me the they’re taught they’re saved by Grace! Once Saved Always Saved. God would never reject any of their kids even if they fall into sin. There is no need for repentance!
These same Christians believe cohabitation is ok, including abortion and the gay/transgender lifestyle. They tell me Christians like me are the worst type of Christian. Do not judge! God loves the gays and transgenders and wouldn’t reject them (or their sin). Jesus is for abortion because he cares for the woman who need an abortion. Christians like me only care about the fetus – not the woman.
Above is what I’ve been told by these Christians. Many are religious and go to church or listen to their favorite preachers on TBN. Many are my own friends and relatives!!!! Anyone else run into Christians that believe this way? How do you talk with them?
It doesn’t make sense. Why would Jesus die on the cross, so we could continue living a sinful life? If you love Jesus wouldn’t you want to obey his commandments? I thought when you become born again your life changes. You don’t want to sin. You’re not perfect, but you don’t make excuses to continue sinning. I question if you really made Jesus Lord of your life and if your really saved?
They shoot back and tell me Do not Judge! They believe in a different version of Jesus than I do. They believe in a Jesus who loves everybody and won’t send anyone to Hell. It’s all about Grace. They tell me I’m just a hypocritical judgmental, intolerant, bigot.

She is in jail and looking at a charge of murder. Someone please tell me what is the difference between her taking that life or a doctor in a clinic ending the life of numerous newborns? I am in my 70’s and think some of the excuses people gave in the years following Roe v Wade also may apply today. One of them was I am not for it but I can’t tell anyone else what to do. So many people in whom it does not apply to them vote along union lines and party lines regardless – “ The big picture “ and cannot understand why just one of the issues should take precedence over everything else. I have been asked why the person I vote for has to be pro- life over the many years of elections. This is and always has been a spiritual war. America owes the world an apology for inflicting abortion upon the world, and the church should be ashamed for remaining quiet. Bad things happen when good people say nothing.
And many Christians didn’t even vote, which is a vote for evil.
I beg to differ, many have voted only to have their votes changed or nullified by voting machines that are designed to change votes and rig elections. I’m praying that this happened in so called “Red” states during the recent elections in Ohio. And not due to moral indifference to the death of babies that evil revels in the shedding of their innocent blood. I myself am struggling in faith. I pray that the Lord removes the vail from my heart and eyes. I recently came to the Lord and hem said through my pastor that “You are mine” and I believe that, but I still struggle. God showed me some years ago, when he was taking me through some rough periods of sanctification and cleansing that what He saves us from, when we keep saying that He saves us from sin, is that He saves us from Self. So, when you state above, Brother Mario, that “The love of the world got into Christians” and that Pastors were the ones who “created moral deformity in believers,” it already was there, it just didn’t get taken out by the truth of their sermons or by the desire of the “believer” to have the propensity to sin removed.

This is so spot and something I have been meditating over for some time. I have no love for “The Church.” “The Church,” especially from the 4th Century forward, is a man-made, apostate organization rife with Greco-Roman idol worship and paganism. There is a called out assembly of believers who look to the Word of God (ALL of it, not select, favored portions) as the authority for belief, doctrine, action. Yeshua told us the true Way is narrow, that not many find it, and many will call out, “Lord, Lord,” but will be told they were never known by Him.

I just got a post from The Post Millennial that said 77% of ALL US voters say abortion in a key issue in 2024. That is disgusting!! I live in Collierville, TN, a city of over 45,000 residents and there is not one church in my city that I have been able to find that believes in divine healing, speaking in tongues, etc, as I believe. There is one Pentecostal church, but one of the members posted that the pastor stole one the member’s estate. So I will not attend church there, since the pastor is a thief. What has happened to our churches??? It appears that many US cities do not even have a true Bible-believing church. No church that preaches the true Word of God! That is totally unacceptable and very, very sad!

I’m always so appreciative of Mario and his clear voice. It’s not often enough that I pray for him and Michele but I do when I remember to do so. We need them and their obedience to Jesus. Let me encourage me and all of you to hold them up in prayer. God will hear us and annoint and protect them.
Just as troubling is the question of how many Evangelical Christians did not vote in this recent election? If the Evangelicals would have just simply shown up to vote in Ohio for instance, then how much different would that election outcome be? I think very much different as not voting is still a vote. Very disappointingly and with rare exception there is little indication at this moment of pastors in this nation who are actively rallying their congregations to get out to the polling places. This is one of the first and simplest acts that the church can take to confront evil. I think the result in Ohio is very telling that the church in this nation is still far too obedient to the Egyptian masters (aiding and abetting a Laodicean church climate) rather than being obedient to God. Our fervent prayer should be that this will change, and soon.
