Elizabeth Taylor married 8 times. In each ceremony, she was emphatic that this was the man of her dreams. Friends and guests were always taken aback by her over-the-top declarations of undying love.
We see the same thing at the end of every year from preachers and prophets. They routinely say that the New Year will be one of widespread blessing and favor in America. And just as routinely, they fall apart like a Taylor marriage.
Let’s remember the predictions of late 2019 about 2020. Celebrity prophets and preachers universally predicted a year of untold favor and prosperity for the Church. Within weeks, the government locked down the churches. It was the polar opposite of their predictions.
It makes you wonder if Satan had a hand in this.

It’s that time of year again. Once again you will find them in your mailbox. You will see them on social media, promising nothing but good times ahead. Why do they keep doing this?
The answer is money. It is a fundraising ploy. After all, does anyone in America want to give money to a losing team?
Trusting these latest predictions will bring even more disaster.
Am I overreacting? Am I raising an issue that is harmless? No I am not. Trusting these latest predictions will bring even more disaster.
I believe the Holy Spirit is warning you not to be fooled again. Trusting in predictions outside of the Bible will eat up valuable time, cost you more than you want to pay, and can even shipwreck your soul.
This time it will be your fault if you are fooled. And God will hold you accountable.

Matthew 24:4 says, “And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.” It is now your responsibility not to be fooled. The people you love need you to be a Christian, someone who is preparing both themselves and you for the storms ahead.
Whatever candy-coated sugar high you get from listening to zany voices is not worth the misery, disappointment, and destruction that will follow.
False voices can say all the right things. Remember the demon possessed girl followed that followed Paul.
She cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And it came out that very hour (Acts 16:17-18).
I believe that Satan has raised up voices that many believe are from God.

We lost because we didn’t vote, we didn’t register others to vote, and we remained apathetic about election corruption.
I do not believe that Trump alone can save America. But I do believe that Obama, er, I mean Biden, can destroy America.
This false audience is clearly laid out in these verses: 2 Timothy 4:3-4, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables.”

Notice that every time it says they or their, it is talking about the audience, not the false teacher.
God is going to do many amazing things in 2024. Most of all, it will be a year of massive soul winning. That is what Mario Murillo Ministries is gearing up for.

How do we keep from being fooled? Answer these questions:
1. Have you checked your own soul? Being fooled begins with you, not the false minister. Ask yourself why you are vulnerable to false words? Most often it is because you are in an emotional crisis and need a quick answer. Parasites target Christians who seek instant relief. King Saul’s demise was that he could not wait for God’s answer (see I Samuel 13).
2. Does their “word” include a call for repentance and obedience? Flattery and entitlement ooze from those who make false prophecies. They remove the preconditions that are clearly set forth in the Bible. Statements like, “God’s got this” are the opposite of, “If my people.” Even when 2 Chronicles 20:15 said, “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” It still said, “Tomorrow, go down against them” in verse 16.
3. What they said did not come to pass. This one sounds obvious, but these false voices have invented exotic excuses for the predictions that did not come true.
-They say that some prophecies can take years to come to pass. But that does not apply when “prophets” set a specific date. One said that on August 20th, 2020, Trump would be back in the White House. Another said that Nancy Pelosi would be dead before November 8, 2022. Those are false prophecies ergo false prophets.
These false voices have invented exotic excuses.
-They say that the Church’s unbelief can keep a prophecy from coming to pass. Over and over again, the Bible shows that statement to be false. One such example is Luke 1:20, “But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time.” What Gabriel prophesied was going to come to pass, did so, in spite of the unbelief of Zacharias.
-And finally, false prophets use the verse that states “we prophesy in part” to make it okay to miss it ‘once in a while.’ They use 1 Corinthians 13:9 says, “For we know in part, and we prophesy in part”, but here is what that means:
Any revelation from God to the Church through someone with the gift of prophecy only reveals a small window on the enormous picture of all there is to be told about Who God is and what He will accomplish. Just because we prophesy ‘in part’ does not mean the ‘part’ we prophesy can be false.

The times are now too dangerous for games.
The bottom line is this: Why would you ever again listen to someone who got it so wrong before? That is the definition of deception—self-deception.
The old saying goes, “If you fool me once, shame on you. If you fool me twice, shame on me.”
2024 is not going to be easy. It will test the strong Christian. Imagine what it will do to the gullible Christian? There may have been a time when chasing shortcuts and special words was less harmful. But that time is over. The times are now to dangerous for games.
Dig into the Bible. Sit under a valid preacher. And draw closer to Jesus than you ever have in your life. Do these things and I can safely predict that you will thrive in the New Year no matter what is coming.

I often have wondered what happened to the last thing God showed Bro. Oral Roberts. We can pray and diminish what he saw coming, but it can’t be stopped. Noone has talked about this from tge beginning of the stolen elections till now. Not even Oral’s son Richard. Yet God reminds me of it nearly daily. The Bible says things will wax worse and worse. So I believe as we draw near the end of this dispensation this is what will happen. But God will catch His People away the nano second the 6,000 year kease is up on the devil. The nation is in the condition it is because the church has failed to become the gatekeepers in the 7 mountains of culture. 2 Chronicles 7:14 applies NOW.
You are target on Mario . I just watched on news max republicans loose races in several states over the abortion issue. As must as I am opposed to abortion we must win these seats back but the church is pounding the wrong drum in so many ways . The prosperity message is wearing thin with me. And the sheep are so stupid . What will it take to wake up the church. We must be smarter in our strategies to save America . Bonhoffer warned the German church they gave a deaf ear to his message . I’m very annoyed with the blind church. It made many people hopeful for money and physical comfort, not Heavenly things. It has happened alright, the US government is printing more money than ever before and transferring it into the hands of those who do evil. They have locked down our economy. Affording a car or house is impossible for most people. Inflation is sucking dry peoples finances. Oh yes the false prophesy of monetary wealth has done and is doing it’s damage.

Jesus is always victorious, we must hold tight to Him! We must not lay down our weapons of warfare, but pick them up and keep fighting. Thank you for this word. I have been concerned about the prophets and how they are saying we are going to be having a great revival and things will be wonderful. I do believe a great revival is happening now in the midst of all the persecution while things are NOT great. I believe persecution is often the reason for revival. In my spirit I keep hearing God caution me that Jeremiah, Isaiah, and the major prophets warned the people while the false prophets were declaring nothing but good. I have been praying that God would give me discernment because I’m just not seeing in scripture this wonderful time as God prepares to call us home. He is separating the wheat from the tares. I totally agree. I believe in the prophetic, the word of the Lord. I have listened to a lot of prophecies, with 95% not being fulfilled.
I feel prophecies are sacred and should be handled with kid gloves, because one saying “this says the Lord”, is is in danger of hell fore if that word does not come to pass.
I am a native, and we were well acquainted with these types of manifestations all be it from a dark source. Those who practice this understand the sacred ness , and danger involved. So it stands to reason, that to be a prophet of the most High God is a sacred calling, which demands preparedness, prayer, great care, because of the responsibilities you have to the sheep of the Lord.

My circle and I dropped them when Kat kerr started talking about dinosaurs and Jello in heaven and robin bullock said Jesus called him the next John the Baptist while he paraded naked in heaven. President Trump said within the first couple weeks that he was designating churches as ” essential ” and two early SCOTUS cases ruled closing churches unconstitutional. But the American church closed them anyway because they don’t believe Jesus can heal the flu. My understanding is that churches just bled membership nationwide during and after covid. ??? Amen, I have always been a fan of yours. I think I met you when I worked for Charisma Magazine. I stood up to them and offered my resignation when I heard they were going to do an article that was saying Israel missed their chance basically. Now they support Israel by buying them an ambulance a few years later. I took scriptures from the old and the New Testament and said I cannot work for a company that will not be blessed. That was all about 25 years+ ago .
I have been warning my husband Carl not to trust the stock market. Please pray for him to get back in the word and learn to hear Gods voice only.

I just started reading David Wilkerson‘s book The vision that was given to him in 1973. It is not full of sugary promises but what I believe the Lord showed me was this vision was given to him shortly after the Roe versus Wade decision which has caused the shedding of millions of lies and innocent blood as I realize what has happened in the voting yesterday I realize that we are headed to judgment and we certainly need to be spiritually prepared for what lies ahead. I disagree with the notion that we didn’t vote or get others to vote. The 2020 election was clearly stolen. That being said I question the memory of people who quickly forget or conveniently forget what transpired on that day and will allow the same thing to happen in 2024. What has changed in the past few years? Are Christians really as gullible as you make them out to be? Maybe some, but don’t you think God has, at the very least a remnant? I believe He does and much much more. Thanks for the reminder to stay vigilant. Phil 1:6 bring confident of this, that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

I agree with your discussion and clarity of what you are saying! Revelation 2:20 would also support your topic as does Jeremiah chapter 23. In the days of Jeremiah the people liked the false words of the false prophets better than they liked truth regrettably. God says in Jeremiah 6:14, “They have healed the brokenness of my people superficially, Saying ‘Peace, peace.” But there is no peace.
Knowing the Word well enough to discern the past history will again tell us what has the potential to repeat itself, there is nothing new under the sun.

It is so disturbing that Ohio is now the 24th state to legalize marijuana. Our country is collapsing right before our eyes with a mass invasion of over 8 million illegal immigrants, with numbers expected to be 14 million by the Biden finishes his term, the adoption of critical race theory in schools across the nation, the unchecked spending by Congress, and the adoption of the cult of climate change (which is a ruse for gaining tyranny over U.S. citizens). People seem to be in a stupor, especially the Christian churches, which refuse to speak to the issues. God is separating the wheat from the chaff; stay in His precious word and the presence of Jesus. There is mass deception occurring, and, unfortunately, many of the churches are infected by this humanistic woke insanity that has lost all touch with reason. America has rejected God, and now she is reaping the whirlwind.
Holy Spirit guide us into all truth as the Word says.
Make us resistant to the temptation to be fearful which causes people to listen to deception …
