I am hoping that God will hit them with a combination punch. A straight jab that will awaken anger over the spirit of death and despair that is suffocating the greatest nation on earth. Followed by a right hook that will disgust them into admitting they have been living in fear of what people think.
I want you to see Satan yelling, “Yo’ Mamma!” right at you. Pastors, I want you to burn all your books on church growth, and start praying against the sorry guru who suckered you into using their putrefying programs.
Get sick! Not with a virus, but with yourself. Sick for letting boards and deacons scare you. Sick because you continually fretted over who might get offended. Sick because you stare out at the parking lot, counting cars, instead of looking up to heaven. And sick of the sermons that seem as if they were designed for Big Bird and the Cookie Monster.
Yeah, I’ll say it: My cry is that when the doors of Spirit-filled churches reopen, they will leave Sesame Street and run back to Azusa Street.
Nothing in this blog is radical. Nothing in this blog is negative or divisive. The problem with me is that I have been around too long and have seen too much. There is nothing more dangerous than an individual who understands why they are a Pentecostal. There is no one more unstoppable than the person who has been baptized in the Holy Spirit and who has experienced the tongues of fire.
I want you to rage against limp-wristed preaching, fog machines, romantic lighting, and that atmosphere that’s about as life giving as the waiting room at a DMV.
A scourge from hell has attacked our nation! That is why we need heroes! Thank God for the first responders, the courageous nurses, and the doctors. Thank God for our President who has been valiantly battling the swamp creatures. But it is time for a new group of heroes to appear: Christians who are full of the fire of God!
The testimony of Azusa Street needs to hit us like a Mack Truck. William Seymour, who oversaw the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the turn of the century, had none of our advantages, but we have none of his results. The glory and presence of God turned a rundown hall into a magnet for the entire world. Today, that movement is 650 million strong.
Modern experts have tried to teach us how to trick people into coming to church, but at Azusa Street, they stampeded to the altar, drawn by God alone—without any tricks. Brother Seymour began the most powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit in modern history in an old rented building that was once a stable. It was so primitive that many times he would pray with his head hidden between two wooden milk crates that served as his pulpit. Then heaven would burst open and the presence of God would fall on those present. It wasn’t a choreographed meeting. It wasn’t a slick presentation. It was raw glory.
Don’t be the fool who says modern society is too sophisticated for Pentecost. “The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ…” (2 Corinthians 10:4,5 AMPLIFIED, 1974 ed.)
I love that translation! Destroying sophisticated arguments! Nothing new has come down the pike that can withstand the conviction of the Holy Spirit. The devil can’t form a weapon that will prosper against a truly Spirit-filled army.

Paul had one main fear: The believers mind being corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. Satanic, soulish, dead religion does that. It complicates things, and quarantines you in a house of bondage with bible scriptures around it.
“Now it you make an altar of stones for Me, you must not build it with stones shaped by tools; for if you use a chisel on it you will DEFILE it.” Exodus 20:25. The sweat of human ingenuity brings a curse, and not the blessing of the Lord. Let Jesus build His church or you labor in vain.
KEEP IT SIMPLE SAINTS.
We need to plead for the latter rain, when it comes the devil’s worst fear will come upon him, a church comprised of people who love not their lives to the death. Great word, Pastor Mario. I sure do hope that when our church opens back up, that it is a church on fire like it used to be, unafraid to allow the Holy Spirit to interrupt the service whenever and however He chooses. I pray that the people are finally ready to wake up and fight back against the encroaching evil of this generation. It will mean some big changes have to happen, but if they don’t do it now, I fear they will miss the hour of their visitation. We have to get back to real and genuine, on our faces, worship. That is where the power of the Church and the Christian lies. It’s the same for all of us. Let it begin, Lord.
Wow!!! All of your messages are bold and strong and convicting but this one really is your best ever! This is exactly how I feel and after walking with the Lord for 40 years I will run to the church that has a convicting message from the pulpit the holy spirit moving among the people and passionate and glorifying worship and people on their knees at the alter calling out to God! I have not found a church like this in over 20 years! I pray that church will be there after all this reignited on fire and letting holy spirit move freely! Thank you Mario!!!

Sadly I believe that the Church as a whole has viewed this “pandemic” as more of an inconvenience rather than a warning from heaven. It is evident by the response in general from the pulpit as well as the “former” pew dwellers. They cry out for an end to this virus (simply because it has interrupted their comfort zone) with little or no repentance in their hearts. As true messengers of God like Mario and others who are nameless and faceless post words of warning and correction, it seems the “cute kitties” and “adorable puppy videos” get the lion share of hits…
Well know prophetic voices (as well as hidden ones) are crying out with contrite hearts and humility, words that should be piercing hearts of the “saved” yet they are ignored and often excoriated for speaking truth in this critical hour. I myself have been told that there in no need for a modern day “Jeremiah type prophet” because we are in a supposed season of grace. The Lord already knew beforehand who would step up and who would bow out.
Will there be pockets of glory? Absolutely! Yet I believe the Church as a whole will act as they did after 9/11…..They were ill prepared for the influx of people into their churches, and they did not have a grid for what they needed to do to give hope and correction to a confused and wayward people, so the “church in the world” slowly drifted back into their stupor. So it may be for this time around. God may have to once again be burdened with another judgement on an obstinate people. He takes no pleasure in the suffering of His people.
To many have had a lackadaisical view as they reasoned that as long as there was beer in the fridge…food in the cupboard…and their favorite show was on tonight, life was good, and they could ride out the storm! A well know (accurate prophetic voice) spoke of three sonic booms. One was the virus, the second was the economic fall out, the third was in the wings if the Church failed in it’s mandate to seek the Lord in sackcloth and ashes repentance. Seems like we are in for a very loud sound from heaven…..be blessed…..><(("<

Repentance is the KEY? to unlock the door?for revival – revival is only a beginning toward renewal. Spiritual infants must learn to crawl ? before they can walk… errant spiritual children have to be guided & disciplined ? into the image of Christ ?esus.

I am not quite finished reading: VESSELS OF FIRE AND GLORY. It is touching me ‘WAY DOWN DEEP’ in a way I have not been touched in a long time.
It is a combination of a lot of things……It is so seldom that we get to read the REAL TRUTH—AND IT IS WRITTEN IN A WAY THAT WE CAN SO EASILY UNDERSTAND AND ABSORB.
When Mario says on page 29: “GOD is sending Strong medicine, because THIS IS AMERICA’S LAST CHANCE!” Mario can’t put it any plainer than that. The handwriting is on the wall with flashing lights—or at least that is what I am seeing in my spirit.
There is so much DEEP TRUTH within these pages, and so much information that we have not known that we have needed to know for such a long, long time.

Amen and amen and amen Bro. Mario; boy, I have been thinking the same thing and praying the same! Yup, I believe the Holy Spirit showed me a while back that those smog machines are counterfeits for the Holy Spirit Shekinah Glory Cloud that used to invade on fire meetings. I only saw it once in my life and I was on the floor! I have been praying along these lines; a Holy Ghost slap in the face like a doctor would use to wake someone up from a coma, a grab by the nape of the neck for those who have their heads in the sand and a encounter that gets one out of the river denial! I love your description of punches; but these are spiritual and I believe they work. I hate the productions of praise and worship and have only recently seen those for what they are and “who” turned out the lights? I for one do not want to walk into a dark place of “fellowship” and feel like that is ok; it is not. Strange fire got some killed also in the Old Testament and I believe I have been only awakened Bless God within the last few years; and yes, something MUST change so we the Church/Ekklesia of the Living God can finish well and represent Jesus accurately; He only needs a Remnant…..on fire, dedicated and moved only by the Holy Ghost!!!
