One of the arguments made by the editor of Christianity Today Magazine was that supporting Trump ruined our witness to America. No one yearns to win souls more than I do, therefore, I will tackle this argument, beginning with a story that seems to be analogous.
After the United States Army liberated the German concentration camps, General Eisenhower viewed the incomprehensible horror. His reaction was to make every soldier in the area come and see it for themselves.
When he was asked why he had subjected these men to such savagery and why he forced them to view images which they could never wash from their minds, he said this, “We are told that the American soldier does not know what he was fighting for. Now, at least he will know what he is fighting against.”
Millions of Christians look at Trump and see a man who is not perfect. He is not their model of a true believer. They reject him because they know what they are striving for: gentleness, civility and increased church attendance. What they do not know is what they are fighting against.
I know this, because whenever they attack Trump they offer no alternative for the office of President. They can’t tell you who else they would rather vote for. Or they assume it doesn’t matter if Democrats win. They only know they are offended by Trump’s behavior. But how does his behavior appear when compared to the horror of what the Left will do to this nation?
No doubt American soldiers had heard of the atrocities committed by Hitler and the Nazis, but they had not witnessed it first-hand. That is, not until they saw with their own eyes the ovens, the mountains of bones, and hundreds of rotting corpses.
Likewise, it is one thing to see leftists selling candles that say “Abortions are magical” and quite another to witness a baby being dismembered in an abortion clinic. Or to see a baby survive an abortion and then overhear an impossibly inhuman conversation, such as, “We’ll keep it comfortable until the doctor and the mother can decide what to do next.” How worried are you now, about how ‘rude’ Trump appears?
Does it ruin my altar calls in the tent when I support President Trump? Please, don’t reveal your ignorance if you don’t realize what an inner city is actually like. It is a cruel, disgraceful, soul-crushing place. And it’s the total property and legacy of the Left. They have crushed all decency in every city they control. Hopes and dreams die daily on an unprecedented scale.
California’s inner cities scream of injustice and abhorrent abuse. Not only is the machinery of government not stopping homelessness—they are actually causing it!
When I stand in the tent and proclaim the miracle of new life in Jesus, I declare the hope, the power, and the love that awaits them. I challenge them to break free. Of course, they need to be freed from sin. They need to be freed from addictions. But they also must be set free from something else.
It’s a funny thing that no one in the church attacked me when I preached against heroin. No one criticized my messages against violent gangs. But when, by the Holy Spirit, I identified a drug worse than meth, which is socialism, and a gang worse than MS-13, the baby slaughtering, corrupt, Left, suddenly I was surrounded by timid souls who tried to hide behind empty platitudes.
Will supporting Trump ruin my witness? Not for the masses who crowd our altars for Jesus. They couldn’t care less about political correctness.
Wake up Christian! Don’t be like those reluctant recruits who served under Patton and hated him because they thought him a crude and nasty leader but they forgot the monster he was trying to kill. Be honest! Do you not see the blatant abuse of power? Do you not see how power is being centralized under tyrants who hate God, who hate freedom, hate your faith, and want to dominate your children’s future? Can you not see how vicious they are, how deviant they are and how determined they are to manipulate every aspect of American life?
I never neglect to preach a scripture-laden message to lost souls. They understand what I mean when I tell them to get off drugs. But, I also tell them they need to get out of the mental-slave-plantation of the Left. It’s lukewarm Christians who don’t get it. Is it because they don’t want to?
You may know what you are fighting for, but I am for Trump because he knows, like I know, what we are all fighting against, and what the stakes are if we lose America.

The important aspect is that most do not see what we are fighting against. The adversary has made the left appear helpful, nonthreatening. Most have a good impression of Obama even though he was the most evil person to have ever been president. But then Stalin was made to appear heroic. Hitler was made to be seen as a messiah figure.
The adversary is good at blinding us.

Mario, you hit the nail on the head in one short blog post. Knowing who our enemy is is half the battle and if one has been deceived into thinking the enemy is your friend, then you are destined to a sad existence controlled by the unholy alliance of Satan and the power mongers.

The fight goes far beyond Trump — years, generations beyond Trump. He may be the beginning of it; the time when American Christian patriots awake to the reality of the beast we face. But in four more years at most, he will leave the scene. It’s we who remain who must carry the fight, and it will be life-and-death to find the proper leader to replace him. This is total war, and ultimately it is we — rank and file Americans — who will either nobly save or meanly lose the awesome gift of a free government, given by God, and our Founders and Framers.
As Mario and others have pointed out, the left does not just hate Trump. They hate us even more. If they were to win in November then look for massive oppression against evangelicals, gun owners and conservatives.
Rachel Bitecofer has predicted that the democrats are on track to sweep everything this fall. That there are no swing voters. And that fear and hatred is the prime reason people vote. Few vote for something but rather against others.

I would not buy that magazine. I am a prophetess in the church and the Lord spoke to me and many others that He was putting Trump in office. I watched the day that Trump received the Lord and I am seeing Him show it now. This magazine does not show any Christian love and disgraces what the Lord is doing. You are doing a good work Mario so keep it up and do not defend yourself.

I personally would not buy that magazine again. Their judgment of Trump is very wrong, I am a prophet in the church and several people were told by the Lord that HE was putting Trump in.

I don’t believe the left is going to sweep everything. Not this time. This time, I believe we are going to take the House back and get Trump four more years in a landslide. But in 2024, imo, we are not going to rally the troops again. I believe we will see the left take over, even if they have to do it illegally, they will get in there. Because after losing to Trump again this time, they are going to go beserk. I could be wrong of course, we could get a longer reprieve than that, if God keeps His Hand of protection upon us. We would all love to see a President Pence, of course, but I am doubting that he has the desire to be a street fighter like Trump, and let’s face it, the left will never again give a Conservative peace and accept defeat graciously. They’ve been uncovered and revealed for the evil crowd that they are. They took their gloves off with Trump and they will not put them back on again and start acting like lovely, normal people again. Some prophetic voices have said the democrat party will collapse and be replaced with something else. That would be the one thing that could bring civility back to politics in this country.

The political situation in America has a spiritual alignment. It takes zero discernment to recognize who is in favor of the slaughter of preborn American baby boys and girls, and the sale of their body parts. Who calls for the execution of just born babies for any reason the mother may dream up? Who is in favor of and celebrates every evil lifestyle known to hell? Who booed God at their national convention? Who wants the Bible thrown out, or at least altered to say only what they approve of? Some say Trump is vile. I didn’t vote for a Pastor, I voted for a President. Jesus was perfect. We are all but filthy rags. I see our President under attack constantly by polar opposites of what the Bible teaches. The darkness in the world wants to destroy the light. What is happening is a war against evil. Christians must intercede for President Trump. The biggest threat in the 2020 election is Michael Bloomberg. He is the dark horse who presents himself as a man who cares about the people. Mainstream Democrats who cannot subscribe to the far left candidates, could easily be persuaded to give him their vote. He is not what he wants them to believe. He is pro abortion, for single pay health care, and anti the second amendment. He also believes that the populous is not smart enough to make their own decisions about what they eat or drink and how to think. His goal as he has proven in New York, is to make those decisions for us.
