In a popular movie from some years ago, the main character described the horrors of war:
“I have seen, boys like these, younger than these, their arms torn out, their legs ripped off. But there is nothin’ like the sight of an amputated spirit; there is no prosthetic for that.”
What on earth does that movie quote have to do with this letter? It has everything to do with this letter! In fact, it touches on every social ill, including self-destructing starlets, young men who commit murder, and a vast unnamed generation tormented by the bitter failure to find self-worth.
Something unseen is feeding on the American spirit. Colleges scramble to deal with a surge of “mental illness.” People go to anger management and come out enraged. Miracle diets have made their victims fatter. People go into rehab addicted to drugs and come out addicted to rehab.
It is no longer the heinous acts of criminals that stun police as much as the mindless acceptance of these acts by society. Entire neighborhoods concede the future of their children to crack houses, gangs, and pimps. An entire generation is conceding their future to government control because they feel helpless to face the future.
We were tasked to reach and disciple students at the University of California during the campus revolutions of the 1970’s. We labored amid tear gas, riots, hedonism, and suicide.
We saw that those students had the heart of an Orphan, and they had an amputated spirit. They came from homes where performance was everything. At Berkeley they faced a double edged sword—pressure to get good grades and pressure to join the demonstrations. Neither side showed them any mercy.
This is a widespread crippling condition among Americans today. It is as rampant in the Church as it is outside the church. The orphan-hearted feel they are on the bottom even when they are on top. No matter how lofty their success, they cannot savor it. Nothing removes their insecurity because hidden software running in their spirits keeps them desperate for the approval of some vague ‘someone.’ They can never please this phantom, but they cannot stop trying.
The last verse of the Old Testament predicts this and names the cure. Malachi 4:5-6 says, “Behold, I send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”
To be free of an orphan heart, learn these truths.
1. Transfer your search for approval from an earthly father to your Heavenly Father. Let Him provide the missing nutrients in your past and present. God will heal your devastated childhood. Hebrews 12:9 says it so clearly: “Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live!”
2. Remember, important people may do important things, but it is wrong to assume that if we accomplish important things, we will feel important. Again, even after success, orphans feel worthless.
3. Let the Holy Spirit flood your heart with the Spirit of Adoption! Lord, let us see how the death of Jesus on the Cross destroyed the curse of sin that separated us from God our Father and made us orphans. Show us how You yearn to saturate our hearts with the unshakable knowledge that we are Your beloved children. When we know that through Christ we have Your approval, no one else’s approval will ever matter. And no one will ever be able to make us feel worthless. Amen.

Multiple thousands of students are walking out of their classrooms today, marching in fear of the world burning them from global warming within a dozen years. They’ve been brainwashed by globalists into believing there is no point in marrying and having children, no point to their lives since all they really are is advanced monkeys, and they should be willing to destroy their lives and their bodies by following the latest leftist lies regarding the earth, and regarding sexuality. The leftist radicals will have much to answer for in Eternity for what they have done to the children.

It is literally heart breaking to see how psychologically bound their thinking is. If that globalist drivel is all a child ever learns then they’re doomed to believe, repeat and ultimately base their lives on a series of orchestrated lies. Meant to eventually control them and submit their freedoms under a central rule of authoritarian government. These ‘Green Scheme’ brokers could care less about the children & their future, they’re simply in it for the global monetary alteration to help make them rich or richer. This really hit the core of my heart and spirit. It is truth. I have lived it. I have grandchildren especially one who is being destroyed, and I scream out to God because I see it. I am completely powerless to help her because if I try to address it even in love, I am cruelly attacked and she and I both are kept from each other. Even the counselor she is going to does not believe her. So she can’t even tell her the truth. Neither her Mom nor her Dad see their part in her destruction. Her Father is my son. Her mother had full custody. Both of them are alcoholics. Her Mother’s parents know but cover up for her, her sister is also an alcoholic and verbally and physically abuses her. Her stepfather know the truth but he covers for her too. He was a jailor and now a hospital guard. His father is a retired well known attorney. Even though there are witnesses they will not speak up for her. If I persue outside legal help the authorities would put her in foster care. I realised her from birth to 5 years old, then her mother took her. I have seen her go from a beautiful sweet child with a voice for singing from God since she could even make sounds. By the time she was 9 she was beating her head against the wall saying she wanted to die. She is 13 now and totally filled with rage and hatred. She curses her mother to her face and if she is struck she will strike back and fight. Everything is twisted back on her and I am not the only one who has seen that. Please please intercede for her and he little 8 years old brother who I raised til he was four, he is Ina very bad situation also and legally my hands are tied. Please pray for me asI bear the pain of seeing it and being helplesd. I pray for their parents but nothing is changing…yet. please do not put this comment publically. They know my name on here. Consider him a very gifted Prophetic Psalmist that was another one “violently killed in the church”! Was there for a lot of his recordings: “Even, So Come, Save Us Oh God, King of Saints, Hear Our Cry”. I’ve actually called Tom Davis of Amber Rose; as he did a lot of those recordings to find Mr. Prosch and do more recordings and a Pastor brought him up to me and a friend recently her favorite Album was Peppercorn. I’ve seen him get so lost in the Presence of the Lord didn’t know the Audience was there. His hearts cry for what your writing, the “Orphan Spirit”, wow! I told that, Pastor find him ask if he will do a Concert as would attend. When God brings people to mind also, it’s to PRAY for them. For numbers of years his music and Robin Mark’s “Revival in Belfast, Come Heal Our Land was the only items could listen to for YEARS. Hope he wrote a Book.

Could you please tell me how to find Kevin Prosch’s information, writings, books, anything that night help me minister mentally and emotionally to my 13 year old granddaughter. She is at a very dangerous emotional and mental stage. Her Father is my son, both her mother and father have alcohol and emotional problems. I raised her until she was five years old, and I financially devastated myself trying to help her Dad. I fear authorities will become involved and take her from us all, and that would push her over the edge for sure. If I can help her, by learning more how to handle her emotional problems, she may be able to be saved.
