AN AMAZING PROPHETIC MESSAGE FOR TODAY BY SMITH WIGGLESWORTH

by | Jun 2, 2018 | Christianity Today | 14 comments

It is Thursday August 11, 1927.  Smith Wigglesworth stands to deliver his message at Angelus Temple.  He is already legendary for the notable miracles that occur in his meetings.  As he stood to speak, he said he could feel liquid fire.

On this day, he will not be remembered for the amazing healings Jesus did through him but for the prophetic word he gave.  This word is not just timeless…I believe it is for us right now.

In order for you to feel the full impact of his words I need to make an observation.  Christian Science was in its heyday and siphoning off Christians.  Satan has rehashed and re-branded the heresies of Mary Baker Eddy and they are once again fooling believers.  That’s why Wigglesworth may have been speaking to today and not to 1927.

His message is about preparing for the Second Coming of Christ. -Mario Murillo   (comments in red).

“But there will be things that will happen prior to His coming that we shall know. You can tell. I am like one this morning that is moving with a liquid, holy, indispensable, real fire in my bosom, and I know it is burning and the body is not consumed.

It is real fire from heaven that is making my utterances come to you to know that He is coming. He is on the way; God is going to help me tell you why you will know. You that have the breath of the Spirit, there is something now moving as I speak, this breath of mighty, quickening, moving, changing, desirable power is making you know and it is this alone that is making you know that you will be ready.

We have to see that these days have to come before the Lord can come. There has to be a falling away.  (I believe we are in that great falling away right now.)

I want to speak to you very exactly. All the people which are pressing into and getting ready for this glorious attained place where they shall not be found naked, where they shall be blameless, where they shall be immovable, where they shall be purified by the power of the Word of God, have within them a consciousness of the very presence of God within, changing their very nature and preparing them for a greater thing, and causing them to be ready for translation.  (Note: he refers to a core that deliberately presses into Jesus in order to be ready for His return.)

This is the day of purifying. This is the day of holiness. This is the day of separation. This is the day of waking. O God, let us wake today! Let the inner spirit wake into consciousness that God is calling us.

There are in the world two classes of believers. There are believers which are disobedient, or I ought to say there are children which are saved by the power of God which are disobedient children. And there are children which are just the same saved by the power of God who all the time are longing to be more obedient.  (Note how, right now, the Lord is separating the church into these two classes).

And we heard the word come rushing, through all over, “new theology” that damnable, devilish, evil power that lived in some of these disobedient children, which in these last days opened the door to the next thing.

People are tremendously afraid of this position because they have heard so much on this line: “Oh, you know you are the elect of God! You are sure to be all right.” There have been in England great churches which were laid out upon these things. I thank God that they are all withered.

You will find if you go to England those strong people that used to hold all these things are almost withered out. Why? Because they went on to say whatever you did, if you were elect, you were right. That is wrong.  The elect of God are those that are pressing forward.

(It is impossible to miss this reference to hyper-grace which removes the need to ever apologize to God. Note how he quotes them as teaching “whatever you did, if you were elect, you were right.”)

What? No hell The devil has always said that What does Christian Science say? No hell, no devil They are ready for him. The devil has always said no hell, no evil. And these people are preparing, and they do not know it, for the Man of Sin.  (Not only has the Pope just denied the existence of Hell but it is taught by spirit-filled preachers.  Especially chilling is Wigglesworth’s declaration that it is to open the door for anti-Christ.)

When I spoke about the blood and when I spoke about this infernal thing, the whole place was upset. You be careful when anybody comes to you with a sugar-coated pill or with a slimy tongue. They are always of the devil. The Spirit of the Lord will always deal with truth. These people never deal with truth. They always cover up the truth.

Do you believe it? Who can do it? THE BLOOD CAN DO IT! The blood, the blood, oh the blood! The blood of the Lamb! The blood of Jesus can do it. Spotless, clean, preserved for God.

Give the devil the biggest chase of his life and say these words, “The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanseth us from all unrighteousness.  (He is referring to the fact that God called him to bring correction and preaching the Blood and hell “this infernal thing” upset deceived Christians.  Funny how it does that today).

These people are determined to have a man. They know someone has to come. We know Who He is that is coming. They begin to make a man. So they find a man in India, they polish him up as much as they can, and they make him as — well, in appearance, but you know we are told by the Lord that there is soft clothing goes onto wolves’ backs.

Aimee Semple McPherson  preaches at Angelus Temple

A person said to me, “You see, the Christian Scientists must be right — look at the beautiful buildings. Look at all the people following them.”

Yes, everybody can belong to it. You can go to any brother you like, you can go to any theater you like, you can go to any race course you like, you can be mixed up with the rest of the people in your life and still be a Christian Scientist. You can have the devil right and left and anywhere, and still belong to Christian Science.  (How can anyone miss how those 2 big lies are at work today.  One: the idea that the size and popularity of a ministry means it must be of God. Two: These movements will let you live in sin and still be called Christian.)

The secret of many people going into Christian Science is a barren church that had not the Holy Ghost. Christian Science exists because the churches have a barren place because they haven’t the Holy Ghost. There would be no room for Christian Science if the churches were filled with the Holy Ghost. (So like today. If churches were filled with the fire, and presence of God, would the barren, counterfeit, attraction churches even exist?)

Up to this present time the Lord’s word is for us, “Hitherto ye have asked nothing.” Surely you people that have been asking great things from God for a long time would be amazed if you entered into it with clear knowledge that it is the Master, it is Jesus, who has such knowledge .of the mightiness of the power of the Father, of the joint union with Him,, that nothing is impossible for you to ask. Surely it is He only Who could say “Hitherto you have asked nothing.”

So God means me to press you another step forward. Begin to believe on extravagant asking, believing that God is pleased when you ask large things.”

My conclusion: We are in a time of extremes.  There will be extreme evil and extreme blessing.  Smith Wigglesworth sees us today in our battle with sophisticated evil and calls us to ask God for astounding authority, provision, intimacy, and power.  Let it be, Lord Jesus! MM

“ask God for astounding authority, provision, intimacy, and power. Let it be, Lord Jesus!“ – I’m asking. I’m believing. Jesus fill my church and every church that desires you with the mighty power of God to crush the enemy in their city or town. Come in Holy Spirit and do what you do best!

    Good Word! Amen!

If it were not possible for believers to get into error why are we told to “test the spirits”?

If it were not possible for a believer to SIN, why do we need 1 John 1:9

But, be aware of the warning in 1 John 1:10!

If we say (claim) we have not sinned, we contradict His Word and make Him out to be false and a liar, and His Word is not in us [the divine message of the Gospel is not in our hearts].

And, John is talking to previously forgiven believers…

Mario and Friends, Mario’s insights & this article message from Smith Wigglesworth is SO relevant to this hour in which we live. Due to the fact that so many in the “modern church culture” are becoming what the holy scripture says about apostasy while denouncing the existence of hell. One month ago Mario, I attempted in a two part message, to explain some truths about heaven, hell and the falling away.
    I hope this second part is all right with you Mario, and that it helps…I leave it here – amen;

This one completely confused me. I know a pastor of a Foursquare Church and he’s a pretty amazing, spirit-filled man, also the chaplain of the local police department. So I’m wondering why this particular church was singled out. Can anyone explain??

    • mariomurilloministries

Where does the article single out the Foursquare Church? It is a word to the entire church.

      • Dorrie

The name of that church was at the bottom of the article >> : Aimee Semple MacPherson, Angelus Temple, Christian Breakthroughs, defeating Satan, Hyper Grace, Mario Murillo, Modern miracles, prophetic words, Second Coming of Christ, Signs and wonders, Smith Wigglesworth, the great falling away | Categories: Aimee Semple McPherson, Faith, Foursquare churches, Healing, Hyper Grace, Hypergrace, Los Angeles, Mario Murillo | URL: https://wp.me/p1vrzp-5G2

The list at the bottom of the article are called “tags’ and point Internet Search Engines to the article above.

I am not sure why Foursquare was added to the tags as it doesn’t appear in the article itself.

None of the Foursquare churches or pastors I know or have heard have preached hyper-grace as a cardinal doctrine, perhaps in passing If I were listening for it.

      • Dorrie

The Foursquare church here in my town doesn’t either. In fact, I’ve talked to the pastor about it, because he’s my handyman and also the police chaplain. Basically, the man has 3 full-time jobs, but he’s sure a light in this dark world! I don’t attend his church because I’m Messianic Jew and keep Sabbath. And Sunday is a work day for me. Oddly, he says he understands. I’ve asked him why he doesn’t teach the Lord’s Feasts & Sabbaths to his congregation, but it appears he follows some sort of teaching already laid out by that denomination.

Once again, Angelus Temple–a Foursquare church and is tagged only because it is where Wigglesworth gave this message. And yes, Angelus Temple is mentioned in the article.
