That two-step transition from ranting to incoherence is perfectly embodied in Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. Watch her work. She begins, as I just said, with tirades against evil. After that it is grim, indeed. She simply makes no sense.
As Scott Moorefield said, “…just about everything that comes out of the young congresswoman-elect’s mouth is either patently untrue, ridiculously unworkable, unintentionally hilarious, or ripped straight from the pages of Das Kapital (in which case it’s all of the above).”
She compared Global Warming to World War II. “the last time we had a really major existential threat in this country was around World War II. So, we’ve been here before, and we have a blueprint of what we did before. None of these things are new ideas. What we had was an existential threat in the context of a war, and what we did was that we chose to mobilize and industrialize our entire economy and we put hundreds of thousands if not millions of people to work in defending our shores and defending this country.”
Doesn’t everyone immediately think, “Hey, let’s do to global warming what we did to the Nazis?”
The same mental drain occurs when you question—if they let you—the ‘Woke Christian.’ They begin by representing the Left as being more like the organic message of Jesus, in that they imply, ‘We care for the poor and fight for justice for the disenfranchised.’
Ask them this: “Do you believe the Bible is the complete and inerrant Word of God?” Watch closely what happens next. They either do not know what the Bible says, or they do know, but do not believe it to be God-breathed.
Here is a list of the ways ‘Wokeness’ clashes with the Bible.
-Biblical marriage can only be between a man and a woman, because the Bible recognizes only male and female genders (Genesis 5:2).
-The Bible states that human life begins in the womb, thus making abortion murder (Luke 1:15).
-The Bible’s definition of love makes it racism to hate, censor, or refuse education, or employment to anyone because of their color, and that includes white people (Galatians 3:28)
-The Bible says Christ is the only way to salvation, so you cannot mix Christ and Islam (John 14:6)
-The Bible says that if you do not take care of your own family first, you are worse than an infidel and have denied the faith. Open borders does not help those coming to this country illegally. On the contrary, it has sent children into sexual slavery.
But what it does to your family is this: It permits criminals to roam your streets undocumented and possibly infected with a new strain of Covid. This is not only irresponsible—but according to the Bible—a sin against your own family (1 Timothy 5:8).
Woke Christians,’ if they do answer the question of the Bible’s divine inspiration, will answer by deflecting—that is, they will quote other scriptures (always out of context) in order to try to cancel the ones they do not agree with. The Bible must be taken as a whole, or not at all. And that, by the way, is another thing the Bible teaches (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Still, others will say that you can be Christian and not believe in the Bible. This is utter madness because it turns the central authority away from God and His Word and places it on subjective human feelings. So, now, you can call yourself a Christian and believe in anything. This is the same credo that drives the transgender movement, “I self-identify” (Jeremiah 17:9).
-The Bible instructs us to meet together and to resist government lockdowns based on our faith (Hebrews 10:25; Acts 4:19).
The ‘Woke Christian’ is agreeing to policies that are anti-Bible, and are agreeing with people who hate the Bible, and are at war with the Church.
“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them that is inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership does right standing with God have with iniquity? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? What agreement can there be between a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in them and will walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people” (2 Corinthians 6:14-16).
If ‘woke Christians’ cannot answer the question about the authority of the Bible, likewise, they will not be able to answer this question, ‘How can you support an agenda that is unambiguously anti-Christ, and then call yourself Christian?’
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. They have a name that they are alive, but they are dead. They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re worse than animals. Slumbering airheads, full of sound and fury signifying nothing but their own stupidity!
Woke followers of Jesus can answer that question, because they are more woke than you. You call us non woke followers of Jesus! How dare you! We are more woke than all of you. But you do the work. Dude, I still haven’t read it 10 times yet: 6 times in 4 years. Bible school students barely read it once or twice. The preacher has read it all more times than we are old, and PREACHED the whole way through it, too. Gotta let God SINK IN. I tell ya, one read through took me about 80 hours straight – 7 days. Try it.
The saints tell me that after 20 or 30 reads through the ENTIRE Bible, we’ll see God in a WHOLE DIFFERENT WAY. Dude, if ya don’t get His words like food and drink, exercise and sleep, ya don’t have Him and He don’t have you. That makes ya christian in name only = fodder for hell fire. Many are hood-winked by words of earth realm. Get these WORDs – they’re from God’s dimension – and you’ll get GOD Himself, and don’t ever let go.

God is not understood by any intellectual process, including laboratory research or empirical findings. Rather, His revelation of Himself to the individual is the catalyst that leads him or her to receive Christ as saviour. A seemingly widely misunderstood principle is that of divine revelation. Once God reveals Himself as Lord and Saviour and convicts the individual of his or her sins, even the “woke” Christians will be convinced.
Thus, let us pray for these “woke Christians” that God will reveal Himself to them. Anything less than divine revelation, regardless of the highest level of human effort, will not be effective. Let us pray and then trust God to do the job.
Gough, it’s called repentance. It is the door into true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Read Matthew 23 where Jesus clearly confronts the “Woke Christians” who are just “Fake Christians”. We pray that God would give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth. That the Holy Spirit would open their eyes, and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of satan unto God (repentance), that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Jesus. The Holy Spirit convinces the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment through the preaching of the gospel. However, there are some who will NOT receive the love of the truth in order to be saved, and will remain “Woke Christians” by choice, loving darkness. See 2 Thess. 1: 7- 9

The BIBLE answers every question ever asked. “All have sinned and come short of the glory if God” All means every nationality, every ethnic group. The color of their skin, their culture or traditions makes no difference. All means all, everyone, no one excluded. “God is not willing that any perish, but that all should come to repentance.” John 3:16 gives the simple answer. There is rescue and salvation in Jesus for all, every one, every sinner. We do not show love by accommodating sin and lawlessness, we show love by proclaiming the good news of Salvation found in Jesus.
Andrew Wommack puts it like this: A student who came to Charis Bible College was a self-proclaimed Democrat her whole life. By the time she left Charis, she was a Conservative. When asked why she changed and why she could vote/think like Dems prior to CBC, she stated, “I knew I was a Christian and I loved God, but did not love or know His word. That is true. I personally know people who, as Mario wrote, say that the Left embodies Jesus’ “organic” message. They justify even abortion this way. These people used to be seemingly solid Christians who have become deceived and radicalized by the Left. It is truly tragic to see.

Great speaking and truth. These woke are actually against themselves, too, since they are created in the image of God and would not be here if God had not created them. I usually call them “brainless” because they do not use the brain God gave them.

When dealing with liberals who claim to be Christians i have found that in every one that I have talked to three elements exist that makes them believe they are Christians. Once you get past the litany of religious platitudes and human reasoning, their true beliefs are exposed. First, they say Jesus was just a man, second, the Bible was written by men and contains errors so you can’t trust what it says, and third, salvation is earned by good works. This completely contradicts God’s word but in the final analysis what they truly believe.
By their fruits you will know them. 😉

There are many people who are calling themselves Christians who will be in for a huge surprise upon the Return of the Lord. They will fill the churches and cry out, wondering why they were not taken to Heaven. Most of them are going to churches that will not need a new pastor after the Rapture. They’ve been lulled to sleep, thinking their, “feelings”, are more worthy to be followed than the pure Word of God.
They’re not able to accept the hard sayings of Jesus and His Word. They will not abandon their support for same-sex, “marriage”, abortion, support of BLM and Antifa, the Palestinians/Hamas, etc. It’s impossible to carry on a conversation with them. The Holy Spirit is the only One Who can break through to them and lift the veil from their eyes and ears.
There’s nothing you can do but pray for them. Nothing you say is going to get through.

Brilliant piece of writing, Mario – inspired as always. It is hard sometimes to believe how totally deceived people can be. Satan is the true enemy, and Jesus never underestimated him. He is a shapeshifter, moving from one form of attack to another. His battle with the Lord continues, as it will until The Return. Thank God we know the outcome!
Romans Chapter 1:18-32 tells us how God gave the desires of hearts over to some pretty nasty behaviors. I’m wondering if that is also the case with what we see happening today all over the world.

I read your emails everyday and so agree with you. I live in Georgia with Multiple Schlerosis. I married my husband in 1989 at 16 years old. We definitely fought the enemy through our almost 32 years of marriage. I was taken out of work in 2019 because of MS. We fostered 26 children over the years and I was a care giver to my inlaws, Daddy etc. I knew my calling was to care for others. Since I am now not able and my husband has to help me so much. I prayed and prayed for God to show me what I am to do. I was physically, sexually and mentally abused by my mother and she used my older cousin who was on drugs to abuse me. On Friday before she died on Sunday (unexpected). She was sick but not expected to die. I went to see her on my lunch hour and she spent the hour telling me she hated me, never loved me and had me to spite my Dad. She wore the pants in the family and my brothers and sister also always made fun of me. God has told me to pray and I have. I have had dreams of being at his feet. We started church when I was 19 pregnant with my son. Right after he was born I was filled with the Holy Spirit. Still for many years I didn’t understand that I can have an relationship with the Holy Spirit. My heart grieves for families with addiction. My son whom has spent most of his years from 17 to now 29 in and out of jail and prison. On drugs. Graduated a 18 month drug/mental health program last August. Got married in October. One of the best nights of my life the mother son dance. He promised he would never hurt me again. Yet here we are. He is back in jail. There was a prophecy given over him when he was 3. He knows the word but Satan continues to destroy our family with lies, drugs, Jealousy. My daughter is unequivocally yoked with a man that was not raised in church. She caught our pastor and youth pastor having an affair when she was 16. This has caused my adult kids along with the flashy lights and quick 1 hour services to not want to go to church. Which it is hard to find a real God fearing church around here. So much to my story but and I’m sure you will never get to read this but I am praying for God to lead me into his presence to make clear what I can do to exalt God and make a difference in people’s lives. 0lease pray for my family for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to use in these last days to bring in the harvest. I feel like it’s addiction and families fighting for members with addiction.
