It was a powerful first night here in Charlotte, NC, as we kicked off the new year of tent meetings. The people showed up expectant and ready, but more importantly the Holy Spirit showed up.

We definitely missed Catherine as she’s home tending to her beautiful newborn baby. But her team still came, and they did an incredible job. We are truly blessed to have this band at our meetings, and we have selfishly declared them as our own.

Mario took the stage, and you could feel the excitement in the room. God was there and we were in for a powerful night.

He began with an important statement, saying, “The only thing that is going to make tonight work is that Jesus is here.” He said, the Word of God overrules and reigns. He said many in the room would be healed of their disease, but that it would not be by any man in the room, but only by Christ.

Mario began to declare healing for diseases, for pastors, and for those who had not yet embraced Christianity. He prophesied this outpouring wasn’t merely for those present, but a floodgate opening for America.

Next, Mario shared about a time he debated a sociologist professor in UC Berkeley, in California. The challenge was to debate the foundations of Christianity. In the natural, it was an unbalanced debate, as the professor had multiple degrees, and Mario only had his High School diploma.

The professor skillfully tore down Christianity from a pure logic point of view. When it was Mario’s turn, he had no idea how to respond, he was relying fully on the Holy Spirit.

He obeyed God’s direction and asked the students a question, “How many of you here want to write a bestselling book?” All the hands went up. Next question, “How many believe you will?” Only a few hands went up. Final question, “How many believe that fifty years after you die the book will still be a best seller?” No hands now.

He then told us about when L. Ron Hubbard wrote his Scientology books, that they prepared a secure vault and specially stored copies of his books to ensure they would not degrade and would be preserved. He said they did that because they believed, unless preserved, his words would pass away.

Then he said, Jesus never wrote anything that we are aware of, and yet He declared, “Heaven and Earth will pass away, but My Word will not pass away.”

He told the students, this professor is smarter, better educated, but everything he said is irrelevant and does not matter. What he said does not count. The facts he provided, about corrupt churches, the logic and details provided, do not change the fact Jesus entered this world through a virgin, which says, “you cannot enter” and left by way of a grave, which says “you can’t leave.” He came into the world supernaturally and He said His Word would never stop.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16 NKJV).

Mario shared how he has spent his life being in love with the Gospel of Christ. There is not a question of the human race that the Gospel does not answer, not a problem in your mind that the Gospel is not the direct cure for. There is no circumstance twisting its way into your soul that cannot be unraveled by the Gospel.

He declared that the greatest crime against humanity is not being committed by communist, not by atheist, not by the LGBTQ+ community. He said the greatest crime is coming from the American pulpit that is ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. Because anything you have to say is stupid compared to what Jesus has to say.

It is embarrassing that any Christian would be ashamed of a message that holds within it the power to answer everything.

Mario shared about Dr. Billy Graham who one time debated a communist. The communist said that capitalism is evil. He pointed to a poor man and said “Communism will put a new suit on that man.” Billy Graham responded, “Jesus will put a new man in that suit.”

Next Mario shared about a World’s Fair where they held a talk and every religion of the world had five minutes each to represent their philosophy and belief.

People heard from each of the world’s religions. A preacher from the United States was chosen to represent the Christian faith. He began by recounting Shakespeare’s play, Macbeth, where Lady Macbeth was complicit in a murder and because of the guilt she saw an apparition of blood on her hands that she could never wash away.

This preacher turned to all the other religious leaders and said, “Do any of you have anything that can wash the blood on Lady Macbeth’s hands?” Mario said, the blood of Christ is the most powerful cleansing agent in the history of the world.

He then said he wanted to tell the people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and its power to take you out of a prison. He said everyone who does not have Christ is in a prison.

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12 NKJV).

“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love” (Colossians 1:13 NKJV).

Mario said that being born again is not repeating a prayer. It is not saying you believe in Jesus or shaking hands at the front of a church with the pastor. Whatever method is invented, if they short circuit this truth they fail the people.

Mario went on to explain holiness, and shared that gratitude was the fuel for holiness. Gratitude when properly experienced makes holiness an automatic lifestyle.

He continued to share more, explaining his love for the Gospel of Jesus and then called for those who needed to be set free from their prison.

He asked them to raise their hands, to stand, and then to come forward. And we had a wonderful response. Dozens came forward and were set free. Always one of my favorite parts of the night. Such a powerful sight.

He prayed with them and then had them go out to be ministered to by our amazing team of volunteers.

While we waited for them to finish and return to their seats, Mario shared something new, that he is building an army known as the Living Proof Army which will be a force to take this message across this nation, heal the sick and help set the captives free. It’s going to be an amazing, powerful army of volunteers that will help us accomplish all the plans God has.
And of course we had the amazing worship team singing our favorite, “Look What the Lord has Done.”

Then the healings began, and they were amazing.

First there was the man near the front whom God had revealed to Mario before the night even began. He was healed of heart blockage, lung issues, back pain, leg pain, foot pain, and blood issues.

A woman was healed of respiratory illness, along with several people in the area around her. Diseases like long COVID, RSV, chronic bronchitis, etc. were all being healed and were asked to stand up.

One of the women who stood was also being healed in her stomach and some growth from behind her eyes that was causing seizures, some form of cancer.

Next Mario revealed to a woman on the other side of the Tent that there was a sickness running through her entire family. And five of them were being healed along with her. Her arms and legs, and her lungs were healed. Along with her lower spine and hip.

Another woman was called out. And it was revealed people all around her in the Tent were being healed of various blood diseases like anemia and diabetes.

One of the workers came over to pray with the woman and God began to heal her as well. She was healed of high blood pressure that causes explosive pain in the head.

Another woman who has been struggling to sleep and suffering spine and stomach pains. And God wanted her to respond. Five women stood all suffering these conditions and God touched them all.

A man was touched in his back and told that he was not to retire, not to end his dreams or give up on the talents God had given him – that they are still to be continued, and the proof is that God healed his arms and legs, and touched something in his brain, ears, and lungs.

Mario revealed there was a someone who three years prior was awakened by God, Who revealed to her that something was coming. The Lord had told her about the coming of this revival that is beginning tonight. God then healed her of joint pain.

Mario finished the night by having the people pray in the language of the Holy Spirit. Then had everyone who needed healing in their body to raise their hands. And of course, hands went up all over the Tent.

He then had the people lay hands on those around them and pray for them. Because it is God who does the healing, not any one of us, this is such an important step to build the faith of each person as they pray for and see people touched by God.

It was an incredible night, and a powerful beginning to this crusade.
