IS THE PROPHETIC MOVEMENT FUMBLING THE BALL AT THE GOAL LINE?

by | Apr 8, 2021 | Christianity Today | 47 comments

Because of the pandemic, the prophetic movement woke up to its true calling after years of living in a bubble. The pandemic was sobering, and the leftist takeover of America was a rude awakening. But the good thing was that prophets began to actually be prophets—speaking truth to power; calling the church to repent; and confronting evil government in a unified resistance.

Leaders of churches rightfully sued the government for banning worship services. Intercessors and seers rightfully instructed the church that their political neutrality and political ignorance led to the stealing of an election and the ongoing dismantling of our freedoms.

We began to understand how to contact our congressmen and how to expose the stream of lies from the media. We started praying and obeying. We did not just sing, “There’s an army rising up,” we became that army.

Most of all, the prophetic movement began to realize that they were raised up for this very moment—not to use prophecy as entertainment but as a weapon to expose devils, tear down strongholds and rebuke the politicians, professors, and celebrities who were plunging America into immorality.

In the bubble of the good times the prophetic movement got away with indulgences. Too many “words from the Lord” were simple flattery. Teachers relating stories that were nothing short of out-of-Bible experiences. A virtual reality dominated our terminology and our conferences. Artificial weapons and tactics replaced Biblical doctrine. We saw the prophetic beginning to fire blanks.

Now, that the nation is starting to reopen, the prophetic movement is being tempted back into those powerless old ways. In fact, I believe that religious spirits are preying on our nostalgic yearning for the good old day—days that we now know were a fantasy.

Voices are dusting off the old, tired platitude that we should not be involved in politics. We are starting to hear the worn-out message of how entitled we are to God’s protection. Just when we were finally ready to do the right thing, the enemy is trying to intimidate us, and lure us off the frontline.

But if we relapse, the movement will become worse than ever. Because this time we will indulge in compromise and imbalance with our eyes wide open, fully conscious of our mistake.

It is not by accident that the enemy is doing this now. Because today wokeness reached critical mass. When Major League Baseball, Coca Cola, and American Airlines asserted that requiring identification to vote is racist, removed any excuse for neutrality. They have fully declared war on this nation, you, your children, your church, and your God.

As Andrew McCarthy so efficiently put it: “The Left ruins everything. Sports, entertainment, toys, snack cakes, you name it. Their wokeness is a cancer, and it’s taking every enjoyable, unifying, non-political piece of American life and destroying it. In Georgia, their crusade against the state’s election law is built on a house of lies.”

We must fight off the religious spirit that wants to believe the storm has passed when the real storm has just arrived.

What does God want? I am convinced that we are to engage our time and energy on two imperatives:

1. Political and moral action: To organize and educate ourselves on how to terrify national Democrat leaders, how to win local elections, and train our people to know why they believe what they believe, and why they believe it. This means that the pulpit must take on abortion, gay marriage, transgender indoctrination of our children, and yes, racism—the racism of the Left that is turning minorities into victims.

2. Win souls with signs and wonders. Our California crusades have already proven that millions want Jesus. God has also demonstrated that He will heal the sick and give us notable miracles. Converting Americans is the surest way to transform the moral and political darkness in America.

This is our greatest hour. This movement can become the lightning America needs right now. We must not become weary in well doing. Let us not fumble the ball at the one-yard line!

PRAY FOR THE MODESTO CRUSADE!

Mario, Mario, Mario!! MESSAGE SO ON TARGET! IF ONLY the Church would speak what the LORD GOD TOLD THEM TO SPEAK!! Instead they magnify the deeds of the enemy. Perverse! OR, like glenlea, they want to kill the misguided or fearful. Judas was not about the kingdom of God, either. Judas was ticked off w/our LORD and Judas didn’t want to hear another word from Him.
Has anyone praised the courage of those (during shutdown) who stood up at rallies and lifted up the Name of Jesus, &/or supported the Constitution; or spent hours contacting all congresspeople to honor God and choose right; spent thousands of dollars (while jobs were lost) to support godly leaders, small & local businesses; many are boycotting the evil platforms of businesses such as in media, tech, cinema, sports, big boxes, coffee shops, etc. And continue!
People like Mario, Mike Lindell, Sean Feucht, the Kunnemans, Victory News, Gen Flynn, Lin Wood, Sidney Powell, and many like-minded:
      SPEAK POWER-FILLED WORDs
      ALL THE TIME!
Let’s come together in the unity of the Spirit of God, in the bond of shalom! Be more accurate with the words we speak! The LORD works with & confirms HIS WORD with signs following!
DO NOT MISS THE POWER POINT THAT WAS SPOKEN IN MARIO’s BLOG: WE ARE AT THE ONE YARD LINE!

Wanting to “stab them through with a spear” IS INSULTING! Wake up!

    • Rose Rhodes

I am awake. It sounds as if you are with libs who want to shut down our freedom of speech unless said opinion agrees with them. That’s exactly what you are doing. Insult those who don’t agree with you. Shut em down.

You think Georgia’s voting law to require voter ID is racist?
    Yes.
What are you going to do?
Move the All Star Game out of the state.
Oh, I see. Hit them in the wallet. Take your 100 million dollar event away from those evil racists.
    Yes.
Where will you move it to?
    Colorado.
    Colorado?
    Yes.
Did you know Georgia is 51% black?
    No.
Did you know Colorado is only 9% black?
    So?
Did you know many of those 51% were counting on that 100 million dollar event to feed their families?
    Oh.
Did you know Colorado already requires voter id?
    You’re racist!
    Me?
    Yes!
    Why?
    Math is racist!
Because they reject God, they’re given over to a corrupt, debased, reprobate, mind (Romans 1:28)

    • Penny McCartney

      Wow. Great reply.

    • C. Jones

Did you know Democrat’s are two faced, double minded, flip flopping hypocrites, who run the plantation? Racists calling others racists in order to manipulate and control. What? They do? Just do the math for a laugh.

    • kingskid48

You hit that on the nose, Doug. Good post.

I am not sure what prophets that you are referring too but certainly Not All Prophets have fumbled the ball! Now most certainly All that would be All have sinned And fallen Short of the glory of God.And He gave some as apostles and some as prophets, and some as evangelist, and some as pastors and teachers, For the Equiping of the Saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. We need to come together as the Body of Christ to win this war. All team members are important and vital, especially the seemingly lesser ones. Mario, I thank God for your work as an evangelist! Keep running your race. Amazing work for the Lord but the true prophets are running their race and I thank God that they haven’t quit because they seem to get hit hard on all fronts! And so we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.

We can never go back to sleep at our posts again. As the army, we need exhortation, and encouragement, the assurance of God’s protection, but most of all, commitment to be ready to fight with every resource He gives us and to be ready to die in that fight if need be. We will take back our country for the glory of God, with Him at our head, and we all have a part to play, prophets included. This time would have been so much harder to hang on in without the prophets who are true to the Word.

    A call for Unity
People are afraid, not knowing what to expect, they huddle in shame, their vision are clouded, their thoughts lie buried in the catacomb of despair. The Lord has opened a door, showing what needs to be done, He waits for the cleaning crew to come forward and clean the mess others created. Faith strengthens their weakened body so they can fight the injustices sweeping across the nation. Mighty is the “word” victory can only be accomplished when Christian followers unite. Lesson from the past; like Jericho the walls came tumbling down. When enough people mount congress with their voice, petitions, and actions, the people can no longer be ignored by the fallen branches of government. The bible holds many lessons to help guide those who believe, to overcome evil and restore God’s laws so peace can reign.

Church, We must understand that the American church (in general) is ultimately at fault for all the terrible things we see now in our country. We created what we see now by doing the things Brother Marillo mentioned above. How stupid it would be for us to go back and do the same stupid things again.

Mario your blogs have always been spot on! I consider you as sort of a leader for this new movement.
Yes, I know you are a soul winner first, amen. But keep up the good work, and the Victory-Flashpoint hour is awesome too. flashpoint must be doing something right since YouTube took it off. But I can still get it on the direct tv – Victory channel and also their website.

  15. n9nwo

While we often see those in our own communities who are lukewarm, we might want to look at the church that serves blacks and Hispanics. Our inner cities are having massive murder rates. Here in Indy we have had two mass murders where young men killed their own parents and siblings. The minority communities are being hit hard by demonic forces.
We need to reach out to the lost in our communities. Go to those places that are the darkest (that includes college campuses).

YES AND AMEN! It’s past time WE THE PEOPLE prove to the left that Americans are NOT stupid (according to Obama, who is the puppeteer in this current fiasco of an administration), and do not need a leader or pack of leaders who believe we are too stupid to live without being told by them when to live and move and have our being. We need to be wise and show Who we choose to be our One and Only Leader, The Triune God. Praying for God to rise up a people who will be strong in their faith in Him and have the wisdom and understanding of the political world so that we the people have someone WORTH voting for. Yes and Amen❣

How true, thank you for your voice crying out in the wilderness. Make ready for He is coming. He is not coming to lead us on the outside but to lead us where He lives on the inside. Are we not all the Body of Christ hearing His voice as one since He is the head. How come we need people like Mario to tell us what He is saying. Why are we not hearing for ourselves? It takes denying ourselves and spending time with him. Come on church rise up and take your place, stand strong and watch the power of your God prevail with in you and all around you.

Such utter stupidity from the left! (Of course! What else can we expect?!)
I am not a huge sports fan, although I do enjoy baseball, but I have never made an idol out of any sport, as some have. I continuously read in the OT, how the Israelite armies lost battles because of their stiff necks and following after idols. Then I read 2 Chr 7:19-22, and ponder… what IS God trying to tell us?

That’s a good word. And here are some practical steps everyone can and should take: First, sign up with Intercessors for America at ifapray.org They not only provide specific issues and people to pray for, but links to contact congresscritters, senators, the president, etc. and let them know your concerns and that you are praying for them. Support the Alliance Defending Freedom and the American Center for Law and Justice. They provide legal defense for Christians who are being persecuted. Also International Justice Mission, which is combating slavery and defending widows and others. There are others, but this is a start. Remember, “faith without works is dead.” It’s time for ACTION!

I would have to say the answer to that question is Yes, there is a tendency to go back to the sugar-sweet, everything’s wonderful words. I’ve seen it also. One well-known female prophet apologized to the Body of Christ for prophesying that Trump would win re-election. Any one of us here can inform her right now-he did win re-election. It was stolen. I won’t read anything else she puts out.
I just read this morning that an LA newspaper put out an article regarding the godlessness that is now prevalent in America. The article praised this horrible movement into darkness and said that it is the best thing for America. This is how dark it is becoming out there. If the Church and the prophetic movement go back to sleep now, we will pay dearly for it.
But I do not believe that is going to happen. Because of Pastor Mario, Hank Kunneman, Lance Wallnau, Flashpoint, and all the others, too many of us are awake, aware, and ready to fight for America in the Power of Jesus’ might. We are the true, “woke”.
Here is an email I received regarding Mike Lindell, with a great discount code for his products. This man is a true patriot. We need to support him.

Mario, you stated in part… “ how to win local elections…”
Here’s the problem… elections have now been proven to be fraught with fraud! Democrats can sit in their basements for months on end… never campaign… and still win elections by just inventing ballots out of thin air or just switching votes. The courts have given the green light to do more of this.
So, how can the conservative majority win a rigged game?? God must expose the evil and do it in a way that circumvents the traitorous main stream media. At the same time their tactics must be ended so as never to be used again. Who has the power to do this?? Only God can bring about these desired outcomes. Pray, pray, pray for a breakthrough and an enlightenment of the people! Otherwise, we’re just spinning our wheels as we’ll never win another election.

One of the Prophets that I have followed now for over 5 years said it best.. “Be Careful who you follow”.. Either I have been Lucky or whether it is a matter of Discernment, none of the Prophets I Follow have Fumbled the Ball, Rather they are Sticking to their Guns on the Prophetic concerning this nation.. That is not to say there haven’t been Fumbles.. I have seen many discouraged by the Apologies of Prophets who gave in to the pressures of this World…
“Be Careful who you Follow” Is So very True and should give you Insight as to why I am here Posting on yet another excellent Blog by Mario Murillo… I Only Follow the Best.. Thank you Mario! To God be the Glory!

God can only be with us to the extent that we embody His word, hence the original Commandment to Adam and Eve. For a Christian, the first step in the process of ‘embodying’ God’s Word is accepting Jesus, who himself is the ‘embodiment of the Word’ – “the word was made flesh”. Jn 1:14. This positions us inside a ‘new covenant’ and therefore relationship with God:
Rom 10:4 “For Christ is the end of the law, that every one who has faith may be justified”.
However, we must maintain and develop that relationship with the person Jesus by keeping and practising his word, just as Adam and Eve were to keep and obey God’s Commandment. You can believe in Jesus and God, but still disobey them as Adam and Eve did.
Even after they fell, they still spoke to God. However the quality and substance of their relationship had changed. Now the children were fearful in front of their Father, as they had violated heavenly law and their Father’s love and trust. They broke their relationship (covenant) with God to make the fallen Archangel their father and ‘ruler of this world’.
Similarly, Christians must maintain their relationship and covenant with God and their spiritual lives by keeping and practising His Word. Jesus is the embodiment of the word, therefore the purpose of believing in Jesus and obeying the Word is in order for us to become the embodiment of the Word also. That is to become Christ-like, which means ultimately to achieve perfection as Jesus ‘commanded’.
Mt 5:48 “You therefore must be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect”.
A commandment which Christians haven’t take seriously. Included in “Seeking first God’s Kingdom” is seeking our own perfection by following Jesus’ example, not just passively believing in him but yet still acting contrary to his example and teachings. Not acting and doing anything is also a sin, the ‘sin of omission’.
We study for an exam, we practise a musical instrument, we train hard for some competition, why then do you think it is enough to just believe, and think you are saved without conscientiously ‘working out your salvation in fear and trembling’ and producing the fruits of that salvation. That just defies any kind of norm in life and God’s Creation. For any system and therefore person to function, means we have to keep continually investing and sacrificing, for any existence, action and multiplication to take place, and therefore any concept or sense of ‘eternality’ to occur.
Otherwise that system or person will break down, and the tendency towards ‘entropy’ will take place; rust, decay, disorder, corruption. In light of what is happening in America, this may be a good way to describe the current state of Christianity. Christianity is in crisis, and a ‘gaping wound’ is being attempted to be fixed with band-aids. God wanted a nation to be discipled, where is it? Where are His stewards, and those God raised up to establish His House, His Kingdom? We are now after the fact, not in the time leading up to it. That time has gone!
Just as we feed our physical body in order for it to grow, to be healthy, strong and able to act in this physical world and to also fight off illness, so too our spiritual body also needs ‘food’ to grow, to be healthy and strong and fight off spiritual attacks that tempt us to go against God’s Word. That spiritual food comes from knowing God’s Word, but more importantly practising it and living it.
Jn 8:51 “Truly, truly, I say to you, if any one keeps my word, he will never see death.”
Jn 12:47 “If any one hears my sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has a judge; the ‘word’ that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day. 49 For I have not spoken on my own authority; the Father who sent me has himself given me commandment what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that his ‘commandment is eternal life’.”
Jn 14:23 “Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him”.
Deut 28 expresses the same meaning.
To accept Christ is just the beginning of our life of faith.
Therefore you must ‘act in faith’, and do something for God, and for your ‘neighbour’, centring on God’s Word. This is the ‘Two Great Commandments’, ‘that all the Law and the Prophets hang’.
Seeking signs, wonders, and miracles is for an ‘evil and adulterous generation’ who don’t have faith in God’s Word. They need some supernatural evidence to convince them to believe. Like children wanting a magic show. Don’t let the medicine that revived you become your drug of choice and you forget the ‘weightier matters’ of Jesus’ teachings, so that you can know Jesus’ heart, which you also want to embody.
Miracles are not important when God’s greatest miracle, creation and life itself, trumps everything else. The miracle of man and woman, whom God created their sexual organs, their ‘holy of holies’, where ‘two become one’. God’s masculinity and God’s Femininity joining together through a man and woman becoming one, initiating reproduction, the creation of life, just as God had created man and the universe, for us to then also follow that same ‘cause and effect, multiplying principle’, is God’s greatest miracle. Why would we be looking for anything else? Similarly:
Rom 1:20 “Ever since the creation of the world his invisible nature, namely, his eternal power and deity, has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse”.
Therefore we must understand the centrality of man in God’s Creation, and for this reason God gave us a Commandment as our portion of responsibility or assignment to fulfil in order that we would complete and consummate God’s Ideal of Creation. Therefore man must ‘act’ in faith to be justified, as Adam and Eve should have done. Let’s look at what James says:
James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who observes his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and ‘perseveres’, being no hearer that forgets but a ‘doer that acts’, he shall be blessed in his doing”.
‘Live’ by faith means, ‘act’ by faith. Live is a verb. Again James explains:
James 2:14 “What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is ill-clad and in lack of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
18 But some one will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith. 19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder. 20 Do you want to be shown, you shallow man, that faith apart from works is barren? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered his son Isaac upon the altar? 22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by works, 23 and the scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness”; and he was called the friend of God. 24 You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. 25 And in the same way was not also Rahab the harlot justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead”.
This is the greatest biblical explanation of the relationship and dynamic between ‘faith and works’. This is also a direct correlation of the relationship between mind and body. You can’t have one without the other.
Yes, and if we are connected to God then we will also ‘act’ to recover His Kingdom, as we should all be seeking first God’s Kingdom since the Fall when it was lost. Our salvation begins with an act of faith, accepting Christ, as Adam had faithlessly rejected God. However that is just the beginning of a life of faith when we are re-born. ‘Living’ by faith also means ‘acting’ by faith, it doesn’t negate ‘doing’. Live is a ‘doing’ word. Seeking, asking, and knocking is ‘doing’ also, as is evangelising and praying and serving and helping, being the good Samaritan, steward, watchmen, soldier.
If we say we have faith, does that mean we know God’s heart, and automatically love our brother or sister. Remember, the Jewish people also had to keep faith in the Word, the Mosaic Law just as much as we do. They were also encouraged to have faith in God and God’s Word. Jesus as the embodiment of the Word brought a higher expression of truth and God’s love, but the attitude and heart to practise a living faith still remains.
Why would Jesus ask, “Will he find faith on earth”? The faith that manifests in seeking and building God’s Kingdom, faith to protect God’s House and not let the atheistic left take it over, and have an unelected ‘president’ in office. Look how hard it was to get Christians on board with Trump, and how quickly Christians fall into faithlessness having previously ignored any sense of responsibility to build God’s House, that is the nation. Lk 12:42-49
Faith without works is dead or quickly becomes dead. Our actions are the substance of faith and things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen taking physical form in the natural world just as God created man and the Cosmos, both the physical world and the spiritual world. God also acted in faith, obedient to His own Word, His Logos and Blueprint for Creation. Why? To realise a world of true love with His children following His example by also having ‘absolute faith’ and keeping God’s Word. This is how we become co-creators and co-heirs with God and Christ, by keeping God’s Word, which means obeying the commandment, whom Jesus was the embodiment of. The object of our faith is God’s Word not faith itself. Hence the original Commandment to Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve didn’t keep God’s Word and they died spiritually, just as Christians can also die spiritually when they don’t keep and practise God’s word. That is what has happened to America, because Christians were looking for just their own salvation along with their panelled homes and other creature comforts, but weren’t first ‘seeking God’s Kingdom’. Therefore by virtue of their attitude and thinking, Christians are not saved, just like Adam and Eve who too should have been ‘seeking first God’s Kingdom’ by obeying the Commandment. ‘He who seeks to gain his life will lose it, but he who seeks to lose his life for God’s sake and Jesus sake will gain it’. That is very clear. Seeking God’s Kingdom means you have to be prepared to lose your life to accomplish God’s Will
Christians have ‘fallen’ into the same trap as the Jewish people, and have just been playing around, lacking seriousness and sincerity when it came to embodying the Word and establishing a kingdom of true love, because you can’t pretend love. It requires absolute investment and sacrifice, or did we forget about what Jesus did and told us to do? I guess so, that is why Jesus said you will be judged by his word. Jn 12:47-50. The ‘gold standard’ he left on earth.
That is what we need to be concerned about, because until we become the embodiment of true love we are not saved, no matter how many times you profess Jesus as your lord and saviour. If that is so, then Jesus as your ‘teacher’ will ask you why you didn’t do what your lord and saviour told you to do. ‘Pick up your cross and follow him, lay down your life for others, seek to lose your life so you can gain it, and seek first God’s Kingdom which is a nation. That was the whole purpose of God giving the Israelites the nation of Israel to establish a kingdom to welcome Jesus, as God gave Christians America to also establish His kingdom and welcome the Second Coming of Christ, but we allowed God’s House to fall into enemy hands just as the Israelites did.
This is also why Jesus said:
Mt 7:21 “Not every one who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.’
Why would Jesus say that? Many Christians have been focused on signs and miracles but not ‘Seeking first God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness’, which is a kingdom of truth, justice and true love. Many Christians have been doing exactly what the Jewish people did. They were focused on the ‘outside of the cup, not the inside’, and therefore what proceeds from the heart. Mt 15:10-20. ‘Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man’, nor makes him righteous as in taking communion. Does that purify you and make you righteous? No, only what you do centring on God’s will can do that. Mt 12:46-50.
You can eat and drink with your mouth, and so too you can repent with your mouth, and as Paul said, ‘if I don’t have love, I am nothing, I gain nothing’.
God loved His enemy, which is us, as Jesus does, how about us? Did we also love our enemy. Who is your enemy? Your mother, father, spouse, children, brothers and sisters, “those of your own household”. Until you have perfected love, everyone is your enemy as you are theirs. Due to our imperfection as fallen people, we must grow and develop like everything else in creation. We start off as ‘white belts’, and then we must do the hard yards to graduate and move up the ‘ladder of our spiritual life’. Phil 2:12
Yet with all the prophets; their exhortations, chastisements, warnings, plus the miracles and acts of great valour and faith by various individuals, at the end of the day, Israel rejected the Messiah, and ended up on a meaningless ‘non-providential’ Diaspora, a 2,000 year ‘wilderness course’, having no significance. Therefore due to their faithlessness and disobedience, Jesus himself prophesied that Israel and the Temple would be destroyed; Lk 19:41-44, Mt 24:1-2.Mt 21:33-46
Was that what God originally purposed and predestined? Of course not!
By 70 AD Rome had sacked Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple. The chosen people had once again disobeyed God, rejected their own history and existence by rejecting the very person God had just spent 2000 years preparing them to receive, Jesus, and consequently because of that failure, Satan invaded and destroyed Israel, as is happening to America today. Mt 21:33-46
After Creation, Adam and Eve rejected the Commandment, then after a Providence of Re-creation, Israel then rejected the ‘commandment in the flesh’, Jesus. Rejecting the Word and disobeying God has dire consequences. Both these acts of disobedience and betrayal brought tragic realities to God and man alike, as history and the bible has clearly revealed. Gen 6:5-6, 1 Sam 15:10-24.
Christians have not understood about the centrality of man’s portion of responsibility in the fulfilment of God’s Will. God can not do it by Himself. He needs man’s response and collaboration. Hence the Commandment. God’s purpose of creation revolves around the parent child relationship. That is at the centre of God’s heart. Remember God is a Father, that says it all. Forget the Lord business, maybe for servants, but not sons and daughters.
When was any battle won by a limp-wristed godless people who did not obey God and stand up and take responsibility to fight for their land, their nation and their God as David did. We have to understand the season we are in, and what needs to be done in each and every season.
David is the personification of how we are meant to conduct ourselves in this current season, when today’s Philistines are mocking us, our God, and tearing down our culture and way of life, as the Romans sacked Jerusalem and the Temple and what are we doing? Jack! Biden the ‘demonic entity’ needs to be called out along with his coven and put to the ‘sword’. We are playing ‘pat-a-cake’ with the enemy.
Christians therefore don’t have God’s spirit, regardless of accepting Christ, when we don’t act and do what is necessary to give life to that ‘spiritual spark’ inside ourselves. We need to ‘blow’ on it so that it intensifies and then multiplies, catching the hearts and minds of the people, and multiplying God’s zeal inside ourselves, as Moses burnt hot with zeal for the Lord.
Meaningless rituals, remembrances, platitudes, cant, mammon and inaction will snuff out that spark. “You have the name of being alive but you are dead”. What were the warnings given to the end-time churches? If we don’t ‘act’, we will not receive ‘life elements’ from God or God’s love, as we will have broken the circuit for that to happen. Also again note Heb 10:26-31
1 Jn 3:14 “We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we ‘love the brethren’. He who does not love abides in death. 15 Any one who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But if any one has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love in word or speech but in deed and in truth”.
If we do not love God and His Word nor our neighbour, we are already dead, regardless of what we believe or who we believe in, as “faith without works/love is dead”. James 2:12-26, 1 Cor 13
Enter ‘Persecution’ and the ‘Great Shake Up’, to wake us up, and get us back on the right track in order to behave in accordance with God’s Word as above, and concern ourselves with things that are truly important.
Gather your ‘generals’, your good governors, your law enforcement people and those who have the spirit of God in them and take back your land. Trump failed at the end, now the people must directly take charge and sanctify their nation, God’s House, and re-dedicate it to God centring on God’s Word and His Will.
Democracy has now become ‘détente and peace talks’, as with the Viet Cong and the USSR, so they could refuel, re-supply and re-arm their frontline soldiers becoming ‘twice the child of hell’ to deal with, as will the Democrats.
Evil doesn’t have an ‘off switch’, it just intensifies, multiplies and gets worse. Therefore goodness needs to intensify and multiply, subjugate evil, and make things ‘better’.
Learn from history or perish, being cleaved down the middle, and becoming an offering on Satan’s altar.
So the ‘halftime talk’ has to deal with reality. We are 30 points behind, and everyone is playing as individuals and not as a team, so the opposition who are less talented, less skilled, are however united, and they are whipping our butt.
Christian ‘individualism’ needs to be tempered with a sense of the whole, as we are part of a ‘flock’, a team. Jesus said to be united in Jn 17:21-24. We are and have been disobeying Jesus for 2000 years by not keeping God’s Word, and not loving our neighbour who is also in fact our enemy. That reality is now showing as our society is starting to disintegrate. We got away with it for a long time, but as with the Israelites, everything finally catches up with you as we are presented with the ‘bill’.
We have been weighed and found wanting, including the prophets, who didn’t prophesy any realistic game plan to move forward and defeat the enemy, operating only from a narrow field of vision or perspective. They too are also limited by the understanding they have. John the Baptist is a good example of that. Did he attend and serve Jesus, follow Jesus as should have been the obvious thing to do. No, he walked away, denying an obvious connection for Jesus with the high priests, John’s father being one. As a result, John was beheaded for his failure to unite with God’s Will, that being Jesus, as what eventually happened to Israel also. “Not one stone will be left upon another”.
God is ‘seeking first’ His people, and therefore only those who are truly ‘seeking first’ God’s Kingdom, not their ‘own salvation’, as He chose just the 300 men of Gideon to fight the Midianites. Those who lapped water from their hands as dogs lap water, remaining alert to what was happening around them, not those with their heads buried in the water unaware of their surroundings and who are comfortable and entrenched in their ‘religion’, their ‘faith’, like they have nothing else to do or ‘work’ for. God will pass them by as they too have ‘no oil in their lamps’.
They have no hunger nor zeal for God’s kingdom, just their own salvation. “Get ‘me’ into the life raft no matter what”!
We have to at least match Moses’ zeal. So if you want to be resurrected at any time, pray with a fervent heart for God’s Kingdom to come on earth as it is in Heaven, and then make it so! The fuse has been lit, and like water it always finds a way through. God’s Word must permeate this land and ‘Christians’ have the opportunity once again to be the ‘baton carriers’, God’s warriors and representatives. Currently you aren’t, you have failed your portion of responsibility to attend Jesus and ‘keep his word’ like John, and therefore are in fact the enemies of God. Things will only get worse until you realise this and repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, but the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life.
Mt 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few”.
Christianity has failed its mission to disciple a nation and seek first God’s Kingdom, but now we are getting another chance to redeem ourselves. Take it. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand, our hands. We must build it with our own blood, sweat and tears, otherwise we will never be part of it, no matter how much we beg and plead with God.
God created us to be co-creators by ‘keeping and living’ His Word. If we don’t become the embodiment of that Word and therefore love, then of course we cant be in God’s Kingdom as much as the wedding guest was bound and kicked out for not making the effort to wear the correct attire. Are we making the effort to be in the presence of God and the Bridegroom? Perhaps not.
America must move ‘As One’ in the right direction to accomplish God’s Will to enter the promised land, especially in heart and spirit, not just physically. We have occupied the land, but have also been adulterated by the ‘Canaanite’ customs and culture of the day, so we have lost the true meaning of ‘Canaan’ and God’s Kingdom.
It is too simplistic to say that once a person becomes a Christian they have God’s ‘eternal spirit’ and are eternally saved given the actual reality of all believers, and what the bible teaches re Jesus’ words and Paul’s letters to the early Christians, which still guide us today, 2,000 years hence. If Christians are eternally saved and have God’s spirit in them, why do we need ministers and teachers to deliver sermons and give guidance. Just reading the bible should be enough for any believer. There has to be a consistency of logic and thought in our explanations.
Therefore the answer is, faith without action, without corresponding love is dead, and even that initial experience of receiving the Holy Spirit will die away if we don’t act and make God’s spirit substantial in our own heart and mind. Heb 10:26-31.
John had a direct revelation about Jesus, but he betrayed Jesus by going off and doing his own thing. He paid the price.
“You have the name of being alive but you are dead”. “Leave the dead to bury their own dead”. “He who does not love the brethren is dead”.
2 Peter 2:20 “If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 22 Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.”
We must attend the Word of God. That is why Adam and Eve fell. They didn’t keep/attend God’s Word by embodying it. The Jewish people didn’t attend Jesus by ‘keeping him’ and therefore his word. As a result, God nor Jesus could make their home with Israel, and Israel was rejected by God as His chosen nation. Mt 21:33-46.

    • Stephen

“We must attend the Word of God. That is why Adam and Eve fell. They didn’t keep/attend God’s Word by embodying it. The Jewish people didn’t attend Jesus by ‘keeping him’, and therefore his word. As a result, God nor Jesus could make their home with Israel, and Israel was rejected by God as His chosen nation. Mt 21:33-46”.
      Part 2
We fell through the misuse of our physical body, so we must discipline and control our physical body and keep God’s Word, or we too will die in the day we depart from His Word. That is why God said to keep His Laws/Word or be cursed. Adam and Eve were cursed for their disobedience, and they were born without sin. Israel was repeatedly cursed, with their final curse coming due to their crucifying Jesus, which meant once again they had rejected God’s Word, as Jesus was the embodiment of the Word, and therefore the road map out of hell and into God’s kingdom. The consequences of their actions are explained by Jesus in the ‘Parable of the Tenants’. Mt 21:33-46.
What did Jesus tell the people in response to this question:
Jn 6:28 “Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
No talk about crucifying Jesus. If someone doesn’t believe in you, then chances are they are not going to listen to you, and then they won’t know what to do. That’s right, so crucifying Jesus is the very reason why Christians have suffered and been persecuted for 2000 years and counting, because they didn’t know how to defeat Satan and establish God’s Kingdom, which Jesus mandated us to do, yet no one has been doing that because no one knows what it truly means. That is why Jesus came, to guide humanity, separate us from Satan, and teach us and show us how to build God’s Kingdom.
Remember, Satan couldn’t tempt Jesus, but Satan could work through the people to attack Jesus, and they did, hence the crucifixion.
Jesus came as perfected Adam, so naturally Adam needs his bride, restored and perfected Eve also, following God’s Blueprint in the Garden as outlined in Gen 1:28.
Jesus needed to take a wife in order to establish a sinless family on earth as Adam and Eve should have. Be fruitful is to achieve perfection, to multiply is to marry under God’s Holy Blessing, and then to have dominion over the creation is to be good stewards and husbandmen to provide an ideal living environment for everyone. Perfected Adam, perfected couple, perfected family, perfected/ideal world = The Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. That is God’s Ideal and Blueprint for the Kingdom.
Yet Christianity today is mostly centred on ‘signs, wonders and miracles’, still stuck in a very elementary stage of spiritual life and understanding of God’s Kingdom. As James said:
James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who observes his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and ‘perseveres’, being no hearer that forgets but a ‘doer that acts’, he shall be blessed in his doing”.
Similarly many Christians keep looking to miracles as the reflection and validation of their faith. This however doesn’t establish God’s governance and sovereignty over a nation, which is what God has wanted since Adam and Eve.
God is not concerned about miracles, He is concerned however about unconditional love, purity, justice, unity of heart, especially in the body of Christ, forgiveness, governance and dominion of His Sovereignty, His Nation, where God’s laws and God’s love is real and tangible, and His Presence abides in and pervades every aspect of society.
Then in that culture and environment, man will always act righteously, living for the sake of others, and manifesting God’s selfless spirit everywhere, wherever we may be, because God is attracted to true love, not evil and selfishness. God will come to those who are living for the sake of others and practising true love. So we don’t even need to be seeking God if we are loving others, God is naturally drawn to those sons and daughters. These are the weightier matters of Jesus’ teachings.
Christians have not understood God’s Will and Purpose, having rejected those weightier matters of Jesus’ teachings. What is my proof of that you might ask? America today is my proof, and the state of Christianity.
Again, Jesus’ prayer convicts all Christians alive today, Jn 17:21-24 and all the points I made in part 1 of my comment. Therefore Satan is now coming for us with a vengeance, and prayers and hand wringing just won’t cut it, because we don’t have a nation, a sovereignty, nor kingdom to protect us, because the vast majority of Christians were not seeking it in the first place, just living in and enjoying a land established by their forefathers and off the back of their sacrifices, indulging themselves in the largess of America without protecting, maintaining, nor building up the spiritual and physical foundations of God’s House.
Many Christians have ‘mammoned out’ and tried to maintain their faith through ‘signs, wonders and miracles’; ‘the processed food and takeaways’ of today’s spiritual life, without taking care of the weightier matters of Jesus’ teachings. They may as well have gone to the Casino. They also have lots of pretty lights, sounds and effects to keep you entertained.
We cannot indulge ourselves in simplistic and false understandings about our spiritual life, our relationship with God, and becoming one in heart with God. Mt 5:48. Grace is not the goal, perfection is. Being re-born is just that, a new beginning, but we must grow by taking personal responsibility for the Word by embodying it, not just on one day accepting Jesus Christ as our saviour. That is the beginning of the journey, not the end. Then the hard work begins. Phil 2:12 or else Heb 10:26-31.
Heb 10:32 “Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering. 33 Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. 34 You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. 35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For,
      “In just a little while,
he who is coming will come
      and will not delay.”
      38 And,
“But my righteous one will ‘live’ by faith.
      And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.”
39 But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved”.
So Jesus and Paul gave many warnings to us about keeping on the right path, and in fact that path is narrow and difficult to find even after becoming a Christian due to the ‘enemy within and around us’. “Oh wretched man that I am”.
Grace is just that, grace, as in the Parable of the Talents. What is each person going to do with his grace, his ‘talent’, remember that God’s Word is also grace, as in The Commandment to Adam and Eve. Grace therefore implies responsibility to live according to God’s Word. Jesus came to fulfil the Law not abolish it. So must we. Mt 5:17-20. Who has yet become the embodiment of the Ten Commandments? Please again take note of Heb 10:26-31.
At the end of the day, given all that the Israelites had been through, and God’s efforts to prepare them for the coming Messiah, they still rejected Jesus, meaning also God’s Word, and God rejected them as He did Adam and Eve. Mt 21:33-46
Christians became the ‘Second Israel’ and Israel was spurned. Israel’s restoration in the Last Days holds no more significance other than it is a sign of the Last Days as Jesus explained about the signs of the end times.
Christianity is the foundation for the Second Coming to take place upon, not Israel or Judaism. Jesus made that very clear in his Parable of the Tenants. Mt 21:33-46
Christian understanding is limited, because spiritual salvation is limited, that is why there is a Second Coming of Christ, to complete the Providence of Salvation centring on the ‘Marriage Supper of the Lamb’, forgiveness of our original sin, then Holy Matrimony under God’s Blessing, and therefore being engrafted into God’s lineage, as Adam and Eve were originally, having been born sinless.
Then all God’s children must perfect themselves through taking responsibility to keep/practise and embody God’s Word (the Commandment), thus achieving our own individual perfection, Mt 5:48, which Adam and Eve should have accomplished at the very beginning. We have now gone full circle to accomplish God’s original will and purpose.
There is no point in doubling down on the cross, and the very obvious limits of spiritual salvation when Christians are continually going astray, losing faith, and have not been practising Jesus’ teachings. Instead of seeking first God’s Kingdom they have been seeking mammon, panelled homes, riches, treasures on earth, so that ultimately the flame of God’s spirit in them is snuffed out.
Just as Adam and Eve died for not keeping God’s Word, so too have Christians, clinging to a cross, but not aggressively seeking first God’s Kingdom in the nation, hence the meaning of the ‘Seven Mountains’ – a society and culture where God is at the centre of all human relationships and interactions. Hence there is no separation of ‘God and state’.
That is, building a righteous, just nation, committed to living for the sake of others and doing good works constantly, that is, acts of true love, like the Good Samaritan and Jesus himself. This is the way for us to grow spiritually, perfect ourselves in love, and become one in heart with God, the very purpose of our creation. Just believing in God and Jesus is not good enough.
We have to become ‘activists’ for God in the arena of culture, governance and society. God as in the Garden is seeking His Kingdom, not a lukewarm, compromised insipid people who think that Jesus is going to give them a ‘free pass’ into heaven when we haven’t yet established it on earth. “Thy Will be done, Thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven”. Who’s going to do that? We are, that’s the ‘ASSIGNMENT’ God gave to us when He gave Adam and Eve the Commandment. That has not changed.
We must pick up our cross and work out our own salvation as part of our own portion of responsibility to perfect ourselves and usher in God’s Kingdom.
As Adam and Eve were confronted by Lucifer’s ‘false commandment’, they should have obeyed their Father, if they were unsure, they should have been humble and prayed to their Father asking for his guidance. They didn’t, and they submitted to a servant’s authority over their Father’s.
If Christians are so filled with the Holy Spirit, why do they need any instruction and continual reassurance from others. Why do they keep looking to the prophets for guidance. Shouldn’t God just be with them continuously, but we know that isn’t the case.
It is possible, but if you don’t have the concept and practice of ‘working out your salvation’ and taking responsibility for your spiritual life, you are just not going to hear from God in any manifest way. In other words, if you are at a ‘first grade’ understanding, you are not going to be taught ‘eighth grade’ teachings. You have to ‘work’ your way up to ‘grade 8’, but if your teachers insist on just teaching you grade 1, and you never graduate pass that level, you will ultimately ‘die’, if only from boredom.
If you are not growing you are dying, and the only way to grow is to act, to move and do things. Stagnant water may be great for mosquitoes, but possibly nothing else. That is how we learn, by doing and acting, and making the teaching substantial within ourselves. The ‘words’ we are learning must be put into practice. You can read about fishing, but is that the same as actually going out and fishing.
‘Faith without works/action is dead’. There is a reason James said that. Take it to heart. Without making effort in this physical world we can not create or establish anything, so too for our spirit, heart, and mind. That is why Jesus said love God with all your heart, soul, mind and body, and love your neighbour likewise. Anyone can claim to love God, but are we demonstrating that level of heart to our neighbour. 1 Jn 4:20-21, 1 Jn 3:11-24
God Himself also acted in absolute faith and ‘obedience’ in creating the Cosmos. God acted. Who you might ask was God obedient to? To His own ideal and purpose of creation and the fulfilment of true love. God obeyed His own Word, His logos to the letter. He didn’t deviate from the path of absolute true love in His creation process. We must also walk that path of true love with absolute faith, love and obedience. Again, that is why Jesus said:
Mt 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few”.
That is the way of true love, living for the sake of others, and picking up our cross and following Jesus. We may become a Christian. Then what? Faith without works, meaning practising true love is dead.
1 Jn 3:14 “We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death”.
That is why Paul gave his famous teaching in 1 Cor 13, ‘the greatest of these, faith, hope, and love, is love’. That is God’s purpose of creation, for God and man to live in the Direct Dominion of God’s love, and for everyone to embody true love manifesting individually in man and woman, then coming together as husband and wife, forming a sinless family, from where it ‘multiplies’ throughout the world.
That is a Kingdom of true love where we live in God’s Direct Dominion; His Nation, His Sovereignty, His Territory as His citizens. That is the veritable Kingdom of Heaven on earth. Amen!
