THEY ARE EXHORTING US FROM HEAVEN TO KEEP MOVING FORWARD

by | Feb 21, 2021 | Christianity Today | 209 comments

The outpouring of love for my mom was astounding. Tens of thousands of people around the world sent wonderful and powerful words of comfort. My family is deeply, deeply grateful.

As far as grieving, I can only speak for myself. My mom’s death hit me hard. The tribute I wrote about her is the hardest thing I ever had to write. For days, I felt strangely detached from life and all the people around me.

I got to the point where it felt inappropriate to do any work. Then it hit me. What is the most important thing you must know after you have lost someone you love so deeply? You must know what they would want you to do.

So many times, bereaved individuals have said, “They would have wanted it this way.” When talking about how a loved one would want their funeral—how they would want to be remembered—and most of all, how they would want us to carry on, you just know.

What would mom want me to do? The answer is clear to anyone who knew her. She would want me to get back in the fight, as soon as possible. She would urge me to keep moving forward. She would exhort me to turn my deep sense of loss into an even greater passion to fight for America, and win lost souls.

The last 7 days have taken a massive toll on the Christian and American family. Let us never forget! It is not just famous people who have died. We have heard from so many who have recently lost husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters. It is clear that we are a nation in mourning.

The list of the famous who have recently passed on includes: Rush Limbaugh, Apostle Frederick K. C. Price, and Gospel singer Carman Liciardello. Each one leaves a great hole to fill. Each one has pioneered something. Each one would tell us the same thing as my mom: ‘We must keep moving forward!’

Rush Limbaugh must be replaced by new voices. This man, who rattled the timbers of God-hating leftists, who slew countless Marxist and Secular progressive dragons, commands fresh minds and brave thinkers to arise and fill the void. He had a close relationship with Jesus Christ, and, I know that right now, he is exhorting his replacements to rise up.

Apostle Frederick K. C. Price is delivering a much fierier exhortation. You can still hear him provoking supernatural faith in everyone. You can still feel the force of his preaching. Sometimes while he was preaching, a great smile would beam from his face. Other times, he would deliver a deadly- serious call to live righteously, and preach and expose the lies of the devil and the false false limits of dead religion.

Apostle Price’s God was big, mighty, and close at hand, to turn the average person into a world-shaking weapon of Christ. If you were anywhere near him, you would know why you can’t doubt and you can’t settle and, most of all: ‘You can never quit!’

Carman Licciardello broke every Christian Gospel Music mold there was. He did not just introduce new music—he introduced a new era. By leaving the beaten path, and the safe road, he did what his hero Andrae Crouch did: he took Christian music to the masses. He took it to those who were lost and most needed to hear it. From the ramparts of heaven, he too is exhorting us that Christian music needs another revolution of soulwinning relevance.

Cristina Murillo: Yes, I am going to say one more thing about my mom. In a world of glaring selfishness, in a world where pregnancy is almost considered a disease, my mom is preaching to us all—as no one else can! We must rid America of the greatest evil to ever see the light of day—abortion.

This heinous slaughter of the innocent is from hell, and it is why there is a curse on America. If there is a sin that will bring down the judgment of God, it is the mass murder of the unborn.

I am convinced that a new prolife ministry will be born in my mother’s honor, and will be fueled by her example.

There it is: a blog written out of my grief and the realization that we must move forward. We must turn our deep losses, whatever they may be, into a burning fire within. A fire that urges us to do more to fight for the Truth, than we have ever imagined.

Mario’s mother is beautiful on the outside and the inside. She is the Proverbs 31 woman. She feared the Lord and walked in His ways. What an example of unconditional love! God bless you Mario in ways you have never encountered!

I’m encouraged to keep going each day by my great grandma’s prayers. As a young mom in 87’, I served God & there was great spiritual attack on my family! I said, I’m done delivering my kids of demonic attack.. I’m quitting! But then The Lord while in prayer showed me my great grandma travailing in intercession for me! God said, “ She prayed it! Now you just walk it out!!” I said, Yes Sir! The fear of the Lord has stayed with me since. That’s Gods Love & power in action!!!?

Mario, your Mom was an amazing woman who obviously passed on her “stick to it” to her son. Of all she went through & overcame, she raised a powerful man of God! As a mother, that is such a great legacy to leave this world. Our mothers are so important in our lives & we sure feel the gap once they are no longer with us. The other three famous people left their mark as well. I used to listen to Fred Price a lot as he was one of my favourite teachers. My husband & I were at a conference in Seattle, he was there. He stood up to pray & to this day, we have never heard anyone pray like he did. We certainly are living in interesting days. We keep praying & believing that America’s & Canada’s best days are still ahead (along with the rest of the world).

Mario, you can take great comfort that your Mami is beaming with joy from heaven before the Lord and she is standing with Rush, Mr Price and Carman, all rejoicing before the Lord that you, her son, continues carrying their work as you inspire us to have faith God and resist the devil. It’s a scene straight out of Return of the Jedi as Luke sees those that came before him – Obi Wan, Anakin and Yoda -approve of him. May God grant you and your family, comfort, peace and joy, and a stronger resolve to bring the Gospel to the lost and make disciples of all nations.

    Brother Mario,
I don’t like to be cliche with these words about your mom. I really don’t know how you feel but I know you will miss her and I wanted to encourage you and your family. I’m praying for you and your family to have peace and see it as a resurrection day. Your mom is walking side by side with the almighty, The King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I believe she is cheering you on to finish this race, if she is anything like my mom, You was born for this and you have always made her proud, she will miss you but knows you both will be together again. She is thankful God gave her you. She has called all the intercessors and grandmas to start praying for favor and send that Pentecostal ? fire ?to be with you and open the seas. You were born to be a ?spiritual father? to me and the rising remnant. We are ready to take back what the enemy has stolen, we want to see supernatural power. Ask God to turn on the ???⚡️⚡️We are ready. Your Mom is saying don’t be sad, go represent me and the kingdom of God. Go finish the work you was born to do. Tell the people about Jesus, be a chain breaker, flatten walls, heal the sick, set the captives free, save the babies that are being trafficked, aborted, and abused. The “TIME” is now, let your light shine, you was created for this, “TIME” to shake things up.
Continue to build the tents ? ⛺️

Graham Cooke has said, “The highest form of intercession is lamentation.” Thank you Mario for choosing to turn your pain into prayer, and advancing the kingdom of heaven as a result. We mourn the loss of each of the warriors you mentioned along with the many nameless who have also passed. May we all leave our hands on the plow and not let our tears blind us from moving forward in Him.

Our love and prayers for you and your family continue. And our God is answering them, as you press on along with the families of all those who have stepped into eternity. Their examples absolutely inspire us to continue to run the race, and perhaps even increase the pace. My Mother died 30 years ago, at the tender age of 60, but she left a legacy that continues today. Only our God can accomplish these things – all for His glory. May His peace and presence comfort and strengthen you as only He can. Thank you for all you do for the Kingdom of God. We love you!

Dear Mario, despite your deep grief and mourning, you took the time, mustered the strength to share your feelings as well as the story of your beautiful and precious mother. What an incredible Woman of Faith! What a FINE SON! Reading your words and the comments of others has generated much encouragement and hope in the power of a praying mother, in the goodness of God, in the unity among ekklesia, in the blessings passed through generations regarding perseverance in prayer and trust in God’s BIG PICTURE. Your mother reminds me of my own mother who passed over 10 years ago, Martha Rosalia Chavarria, born in Costa Rica and despite many challenges, such as your mom’s, never stop praying for each of us, never held back her love and commitment to serving our God. I was delighted to read how your mother often slept with a Bible covering her, as I have done likewise, placing God’s Word over my heart as I pray for sons and daughters, grands, others, wondering and hoping that my efforts are making a difference. As you honored your mother, I was reminded that I come from a long line of woman/ mothers who had to pick up the pieces and carry on, despite losses, despite unfortunate events, despite adversity. Such inspiration in your words regarding how we are to not give up the fight for the SANTICTY of LIFE, as we seek to protect the unborn at all costs. Honoring our mothers and fathers carries on long after they depart this earth. Let us stand strong and continue in service, as your mother did, as you are doing, carrying on the Business of our Father God.

  29. Fritz Brown

    We love you Bro. Mario!
Keep preaching and winning souls. Every soul you introduce to Messiah has your mother to thank! While in heaven a short period of time, she has probably already met tens of thousands who heard you preach the Gospel on earth and committed their lives to Jesus and who are now thanking her for her commitment to let the unborn live!
They are all shouting gratefully to us, “Keep winning souls!”

  30. Patti Stanton

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mom.  Yes, she would tell you to “keep going”, “keep carrying the torch to a hurting world”.  We do appreciate you and your team.   Be strong, be brave, stand and keep going!! 31. R.K. McWilliams

Once again, Mario, you are spot on in your message and encouragement. You see, I have another to add to your list of deceased…my beloved husband, Pastor Mark McWilliams, who was shot and killed at Starrville Church in Winona, Texas on January 3, 2021. He was a true shepherd and gave his life protecting the flock. In my grieving I have resolved to continue on as my “Preacher-Man” would want me to. I am continuing with the plans we had made before his murder. My heart says to honor him and the Lord so this intercessor is pulling up her boots straps and getting back in the mud. Mark didn’t ask me to marry him, he asked me to be my covenant prayer partner. Now, I am trying to make that adjustment of losing such an important part of my life… not just my loving partner, but my prayer partner… but I have to say, our Lord has been especially kind to me as He is to all who are brokenhearted. My love and prayers to you and your family as your ministry touches thousands of souls for the Lord…thank you, Mario, and I thank your beautiful mother for letting your ministry happen.

  32. Laura Dominick

Your mother is beautiful! The love between the two of you is wonderful. Both of my parents – the two people I have loved most on this planet – are rejoicing in Heaven. I miss them every day, but any time I feel sad I just start thanking Jesus that they are in Heaven with Him and that this evil world can no longer touch them. I so look forward to seeing them again and remaining with them forever! I am grateful for you, Mario – what a testimony you gave that shines light on the evil of abortion. May the Lord bless you and comfort you in the loss of your Mom – just think how gloriously happy she is right this very minute! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Praying for your healing from the loss, keep up the fight she passed on to you: “This heinous slaughter of the innocent is from hell, and it is why there is a curse on America. If there is a sin that will bring down the judgment of God, it is the mass murder of the unborn.” We must wake the Remnant up to repent and pray against this great evil.

Thank you for sharing from your heart about your Mom’s home-going and I pray that God’s loving arms wrap around you and your family who are bearing the sorrow and loss of her presence now. May God’s Word be alive in you now more than ever as you move on in doing God’s will with His power and love just as your Mom would desire.
Psalm 119:76  Let, I pray Thee, Thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to Thy Word unto Thy servant.
2Thessalonians 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
    Isaiah 61:1  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
    2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3  To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified.

Thank you Mario! Your words reminded me of Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 when he said: “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair’ persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.” Yes, your Mom is now cheering you on from Heaven. She is proud of all you’re doing!

Moms are the greatest earthly gift one will ever receive. We move onward and forward in the fight FOR LIFE.God, Himself is raising up fighters. Our generation must lead the fight, be an example, which is what I thank you for doing. My mom left me a great example of faith. Our memoried will always be alive and well, but we must persevere now for those without Christ. We are living in incredible times. I pray the Body of Christ will rise up in faith and their eye see the great things God has done and is doing and will continue. We join you in the fight and thank you for your leadership.

Yes we lost some great people..Rush was a true patriot and I listen to him for years, hopefully
someone will take up where he left off. I spoke with my brother in Phoenix, Az. yesterday and it seems like he is actually is excepting the new fake normal of Biden / Harris. I’m sorry but they stole the election and they haven’t even done anything about voting irregularities, etc. So I will never accept them as my president unless that is fixed with a true non-bias nationwide audit of voting irregularities. Those who left us are cheering us on…don’t give up on our nation. Believe God is going to fix this as he chooses, and in his time!

You gave me and my wife a word in 2018 and my wife’s word came to pass when you gave it it was the as if you were speaking to us as a time traveler from the future I know that sounds “Art Bell-ish” I would love to share with you what has happened and the impact and the portion of that word you spoke to me almost hurts to talk about.
I’m a pastor in so cal I wanted to be at your pastors event but I’ve been physically hurting now There are spinal issues that have developed to go along with other things.
Regardless I have so much respect for you I wish I was half the man you are.
I lost my mom 10 years ago.
It hurts but I promise you you’re going to make it and I couldn’t imagine how proud she must be of you.
    Your a great man!

You are such a blessing to others. I have prayed that God calms your spirit and gives you His peace which surpasses understanding.
The brain is a marvelous thing, recalling a memory. The heart is the best though. It recalls the LOVE attached to the memory. Thank God He gave us a HEART to remember the LOVE too. A quote from a friend, whose grandmother gave her these words:
“Grief never ends…but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith…it is the price of love.”
“I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber” (Psalm 121:1-3).
I’m so sorry for your loss. May God dry every tear!

  69. Rhona Temple

Mario I too like 1000’s are sorry about your mom. It makes me cry because my mom was the reason for my salvation and love of Jesus. She converted from Anglican to marry my dad, a Catholic then helped three of her 4 daughters in our journey with God. For years she gave me tapes and books and prayed. An amazing example of God’s love towards her family. Your mother was beautiful. Mother’s are such a gift. She has left the most amazing gift “YOU” to a world that needs you so much right now. Thank you for being the man of God that God has called you to be. In heaven her heart will be singing and smiling as all her sacrifices will no longer be remembered because of the rejoicing when she peeks down at you and your family. Hugs!

Your mother sounds like an amazing woman. As you mentioned we must keep moving forward those words and gifts our Lord keeps myself and my wife going. When our only child passed our beloved 10 yr old daughter. I thank GOD for her being in our life and can’t wait to be in our lords presence surrounded by friends and family and of course our little girl.
    GOD BLESS!

Thank you Mario for sharing your Mother with us. What an amazing and inspiring woman. I know you will continue to make your mom proud and honour her. I pray for you and your family and that you will continue your ministry with greater strength, endurance, and power than ever before.
Your words came at the right time for me and spoke to my heart, as I lost my mom a week ago and my dad two weeks ago. I have felt numb and disconnected from life. This post confirms what I have been feeling this week that I should now do. Thank you. My dad always told me, “Don’t cry for me, because I know where I am going and it will be glorious there.” I have cried, but I will continue to do and be what they raised me to be, a child of God who loves to pray and never gives up. I look forward to the time that I will have reading my dad’s bible and I pray that maybe you might have your mom’s bible and can do the same. May we both gain much through our reading of their favorite and most valued book.

Dear Stacy, As a sister in the Lord, I extend my sincere condolences for the passing of your parents. My Dad passed away five months ago to His external home. I pray for the Peace that passes all understanding to minister to you and your family.
Our parents were of a generation that pressed on in good and bad times. I’m thankful for that heritage and know all our loved ones are cheering us on to fight the good fight and finish the race.
Blessings to my brothers and sisters in Christ who gives us EVERYTHING He knows we need for such a time as this.
      Praise God. Peace ?️?

Dear Mario, I have lost my husband and my youngest child ( one year ago) and I know spiritually we know they are rejoicing but mentally and emotionally we have to go through a process of grief , and it is a daily walk with Him, for him to fill that place and keep reminding ourselves they are in a wonderful place waiting for us… they are no longer suffering … you are so needed here and now more than ever you have to go on…we are to look forward and press…you are strong and able in Christ…keep up the good fight we love you…

My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family! Yes, other “famous” people have died, but your mother is “famous” in your eyes…and rightfully so. You can be so proud of her, and I am sure she was of you, Mario. Your mother stood against abortion when pressure hit her to do so. Then to even lay the Holy Bible on her belly and pray faithfully for her unborn child spoke of her faith in God. Mario, I thank the Lord for your mother, and I thank the Lord for you. Oh, how He has answered her prayers! How many other ministers, evangelists, doctors, journalists, etc, has this world lost because the value of life was not cared about. Thank you, Mario, for your compassionate heart to see souls saved, and for all babies to be carried to term and not be aborted. May Holy Spirit comfort you and your family, and may He give you the strength to keep “fighting” for lost souls and the unborn babies! You are in my prayers. Thank you also for writing the book, Vessels of Fire and Glory, which has impacted my life greatly. To God be the Glory!

  98. Helene

When my Dad died I felt like my heart was ripped out of me. About a year later I saw something on TV that inspired me to ask Jesus to tell my Dad that I love him. Faster than my brain could ever work I heard. “He loves you, too”. Wow! That got the idea that Dad was in heaven from my head into my heart and I was healed of my grief. He was as close as a prayer. When my Mom died, I had the same supernatural peace. They are not just in my past, they are in my future.
Mario, I pray you have the same supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, too. Amen.

    Dear brother Mario Murillo,
I am sorry for your loss, I know that your mother has graduated to a better place, yes it hurt that she is no longer with us, but remember you will see her again, I however, I lost my mother last January, and I am, not sure if I will ever see her, since she did not accepted our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. (she was in the JEHOVAH Witness cult for a long time, ) I grow up with out any religion, but I knew the fear of GOD, I became a born again Christian, in 1987, I witness to her, but she will said that I had been brain wash, and will not listen to what I had to say.
I enjoyed your messages that you sent me every day, thank you brother, and God bless you and your ministry. Bless you and your family. Continue following HIS DIRECTION we need to change our world. Blessings ???

Brother Mario, we have loved watching you on Flashpoint on the Victory Network. Thank you for sharing the beautiful story of your mother; I’m looking forward to meeting her in Heaven! I was reminded of what the Lord told our pastor when his father moved to Heaven, she’s not just in your past, she’s in your future. (It was in a series he did called “Victory Over Death”, you can download it for free on their website: https://www.flcsarasota.org/php/mlmMediaChannelCollectionContentList.php?siteID=fli&channelID=1&languageID=EN&collectionID=159)

  120. Neil Rokke

Brother Mario, I feel your loss and pain right now, as my Mom went home to be with The Lord last Sunday, early in the morning. I’m with you going through the valley right now, but yet I’m more on fire for God as i have never been all these years as a believer. You, and you ministry, are part of stoking that fire. i pray for God’s peace and comfort to envelope you and your family in a greater measure, and for a stronger and fresher measure of the anointing to continue carrying out your mission for Him. God bless you and your ministry. Go get ’em! We are all the stronger for it.

  121. Desertstream

One can feel your heartbeat and emotion on every word here, Mario. Please don’t hurry the grieving process along. Let it run its course until it gradually subsides to where the Healing Balm has done its full work; and then back onto full speed with even greater resolve, focus, and determination with an added impetus: the Inspiration of your Mother’s Memory… Grace and Peace.

  122. Joyce Daugherty

So sorry for the loss of your mother….You look like her. Remember the good times and memories of her love for you and your siblings….Love will conquer all in the end….You are a light in a dark place in America right now…You lift me up everyday with your unwaving word of God….You were blessed with a great mom…

  123. smuzick

Mario, I also know the pain of losing a Mom although my Mom passed many years ago. But, what she instilled in me bears fruit every day. Yes, there isn’t a day that something my Mom taught me comes to my mind. That is what keeps her alive. That is what her mission was, to teach and instruct me so that I would not be like everyone else but run my own race. Also, this year 2021 has brought the death of loved ones near and dear to me. So, we continue to fight and win. That is what we were destined to do. That IS what they wanted. God bless.

  124. BT

God bless you Mario, and your family. I too have lost my parents, and understand the depth of grief that one can have. However, I also know that I will see them again, and so you will with your mother. The grief is for a time, but that time will pass and we will again have joy as we spend time with the Lord and our loved ones. For now, our work is ahead of us and the road is fraught with hazard and physical, emotional, and spiritual danger, but fear not! The Lord is with us, and He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. The enemy knows this and knows his time is coming to an end, and so must lash out with the tools he has: anger, hatred, lies, physical attacks, spiritual warfare, and anything he can find that might hurt a brother or sister in the Lord. We will overcome the enemy through the power of God’s Holy Spirit.
Praise God, and pass the ammunition!

I’m So sorry for your loss. I pray for you so often but will especially be praying for Gods peace for you and your family. There is a time to stop “ the world” so we can catch our breath. Take all the time YOU NEED! To bring healing to your spirit. You’ve lost someone you love dearly and it’s OK to stop.,,,, To take time to just walk a beach, Sit in a park, it’s OK not to be busy every minute as you deal with all this. I lost the love of my life 3 years ago. I was so blessed to have have him In my life 19 years. He had several years battle with auto immune issues. I knew I’d feel sad but I had no idea the pain would feel like a sword was stuck in my chest! And stayed THERE, hard to breath, think,, everything,, because of REAL PAIN! Oh dear brother, I send you Gods healing love! Be gentle with yourself and don’t let anyone put THEIR expectations on you. You walk with God and sometimes it’s OK TO PULL AWAY to give some time to heal. Love to you brother, Sharry G Wichita

Bro. Murillo, I see the great strength of your mother living on in you. May God let you know her bravery and integrity will continue to live on in you and all her family. We always miss our mothers. My mother died at age 80 almost 17 years ago—we had very little financially growing up but we were raised to have great faith. That is worth more than money can buy. You have a wonderful heritage.

  146. genie153

As hard as it must be for you to “get out there and preach”, it is medicine and healing to your mind, body, and spirit. Of course your mother would exhort you to get out there and slay the dragon…..that’s what she prayed over you as you were being formed in her womb. That’s your destiny. May God strengthen and comfort you as you go. And may the fruits of your labor multiply exponentially in the days ahead. Love and blessings to you and your previous family. Genie Brown, Newnan, GA

Mario, one of the greatest blessings of Covid is that I began following your posts daily! The loss of your beautiful Mother and the gift she gave us in you, is being celebrated in heaven. May millions come to salvation as you, her beloved son continue to what He called you to. I appreciate you more than words can say. we grieve as well as rejoice with you. Thank you for being the courier and carrier of Christ’s love to a hurting world. God bless you and yours.

God bless you richly Mario, You are such a blessing to the Kingdom. I pray the Comforter wraps His arms around you. And you are blessed to have had her as long as you did. I lost mine when I was 19. Be happy to remember all the good times you had with her. We all love you!

The Greatest Gift any child can ever be given is a GODLY MOTHER; and MARIO—YOU HAD THE BEST. This is not to say that a GODLY FATHER IS NOT DESPERATELY NEEDED—BECAUSE HE IS…..But a child/children CAN MAKE IT IF THEY HAVE A GODLY MOTHER —even if a father is “Absent Without Leave.”
Heavenly Father, Thank You for CHRISTINA and her life….Because of her LOVE FOR JESUS AND HER EXAMPLE LIVED BEFORE HER CHILDREN, YOUR ANOINTED vessel: MARIO is TOUCHING THE WORLD….and IT IS ONLY BEGINNING. In Jesus holy name. Amen

Our 49 year old Son Lives today because my Wife and I would not abort Him back in 1971 when Her doctor suggested us to shed Innocent Blood. Your Wonderful Mother’s Testimony Is JESUS THE LIVING CHRIST. She is Alive Forever more. ” SHE THAT LIVETH AND BELIVETH IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE’ This is what He tells us in John 11:25 . 1Th 4:13  But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.
1Th 4:14  For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
1Th 4:15  For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
1Th 4:17  Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18  Therefore encourage one another with these words.
    We send you our condolences.

I am so sorry that you have have had so much grief over the lost of your wonderful Mother My heart hurts for you and your family.

  159. Ellen Chinzi

My dear brother Mario. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I know and understand the great void this has left in your heart. I have lost my mom, my dad, my youngest brother, my youngest sister and the most recent my beautiful 25 year old granddaughter. All of them except my brother died from cancer. My brother was a police officer killed in the line of duty. When my granddaughter died, after great suffering for ten months, I didn’t think I could go on because the grief was so deep. I had prayed in faith, strong faith. By the strips of Jesus she is and was healed at the cross of calvary. I really believed she would be healed just as I had believed for the other family members, but they all died. I told the Lord, I have walked with you for 48 years, I have been a faithful daughter, I don’t understand why my strong faith in believing what your word says did not happen. I felt in my grief I would not be able to pray for people any longer because it didn’t work. I wrestled with these thoughts for about three weeks. It felt strange to think of not praying for people to be healed and delivered as I had done for so many years, but was in such pain. I went to the Lord one day with this struggle, telling Him it seemed like His word spoken over people didn’t work for me no matter how many times I had prayed in faith. I told Him I couldn’t do it anymore. I then heard Him Loud and clear, He said to me, do not be rocked off your firm foundation for what you do not understand. By the spirit He let me know that in my deepest grief the enemy’s lies that God’s word does not work and its hopeless to even try had creep in where I was weak and vulnerable to rock me off of what I had believed for 48 years. The Lord showed me a spirit of unbelief had come to destroy my faith, that I had not recognized it like I usually would. As I was with the Lord I immediately repented for not believing He would and will do exactly what His word says He will do, I bound the spirit of unbelief, kicked it out and asked Him to forgive me for ever doubting Him. I knew at that moment that our prayers for healing aren’t always the way we think they should be on this side of heaven, we may not understand why not everyone gets healed when we pray for them but knowing they are completely healed on the other side, safe and sound in the Lord’s loving care brings peace. After I prayed and asked the Lord to forgive me for my unbelief. The very next day He put a fire down in my spirit to pray for others like I had never experienced, it felt like he had put a warrior spirit in me to fight this battle we are in as a country for our freedoms and our anointed president Trump in bringing the truth to those who need it. I learned that in our losses and our griefs the Lord will bring great things forth in and through us when we trust Him with the hard things we don’t always understand. I am keeping you and your family in my prayers Mario. The Lord bless you and keep you, His face shine upon you and give you peace each day. ?⚔️?⚔️?⚔️?⚔️?⚔️?⚔️?⚔️?⚔️?⚔️??

….so very well stated and your dear Mom would be ever so pleased with you as she always has been.

  163. Irene

I have always been taught that when someone passes on the spirit of grief rushes in to try to turn us from our appointed course. That spirit of grief is not of God, but from the enemy. We can take comfort in knowing that our loved ones are whole, their youth is renewed, and best of all they are at peace and in the company of Jesus and all those that have gone before us in ages past. Our loved ones will always be with us, they are a part of who we are and they continue to live through us as we go about our assignments from our Heavenly Father. I do know what it is like to have both parents in heaven and I find myself doing something each day that is an extension of them. My prayers are with all those who have had their loved ones change their address to heaven and we are unable to call them or talk with them on the phone or to wrap our arms around them. Take heart that day is in our future and we finish our course and run the race appointed us while we are on this earth. Eternity is a long time and we are in a very short part of it at present. God bless each and every one of you as you run the race set before you!

  164. Yvonne Gulezian

So sorry for your loss. There’s something about the loss of a mother that words cannot express. She is the one who conceived and brought you into the world and when she leaves a part of you leaves with her. Be encouraged, your mom is chearing you on to continue in running the race set before you to finish strong.

TAKE REVENGE MARIO! Follow the Saviour’s example when His beloved relative, John the Baptist, was murdered by a fool of a king.
After His disciples took John’s body to lay in a tomb, Jesus told them to come to a secret place. (Mark 6:17-29.)
Jesus saw the multitudes (Mark 6:33-44) and turned His grief into compassion; for the people were as sheep with no shepherd.
AND HE FED FIVE THOUSAND MEN (plus women & children) WITH FIVE LOAVES OF BREAD AND TWO FISH.
And in the same 24 hours, WALKED ON THE ROARING SEA AND CALMED THE STORM.
TAKE REVENGE, MARIO JUST LIKE JESUS
and God be with you, Mario, & confirm His Word with signs following, as it is written in Mark 16:15-20.
In love, and in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen. ?

  174. John Golaboff

Mario, Sorry for your loss. You mentioned something that I felt the Lord give me and I shared with my friends and some groups I ma on in Facebook.
I hope it blesses you as you have been a blessing as I have watched you on the victory channel.
The thing going through me today was something I felt the Lord said to me last night. I had seen a title for a video that said don’t move on, move forward. While I saw it several times nothing seemed out of the ordinary but then it was a subtle hit or push and then the words started to come about this comment.
The words that came to me was that the children of Israel could have moved forward when they came to the promised land but did not enter. So, when the Lord lifted his presence from the Tabernacle they moved on but not forward. It was not until the last of the rebellious died that they nation of Israel started to move forward under Joshua’s command as the Lord led him.
So, do we merely move on when something doesn’t go our way or when we see something that is a great injustice but we don’t say anything against it or about it. We don’t even pray about it or ask the Lord to show us anything about that issue. So in that sense we are moving on and wandering in the wilderness vice entering the promise land.
So it seems that our rebellion must die for us to move forward. That is the hard part. Sometimes we go around the mountain or through desert many times and never move forward. What is in our lives where we are not moving forward? Have we given up and therefore take what has been handed to us instead of pushing past that and moving forward to take hold of what God has for us.
Sometimes it looks impossible to move forward. Think of Moses and the children of Israel at the Red Sea. Think of Gideon. Move forward with 300 men against thousands? What about Hezekiah against the army of Assyria? The Israeli army in 1967 when out numbered 4 to 1 or more? What am I saying? Ask the Lord how you can move forward so that there is victory in your camp. Where the horse and rider are thrown into the sea. Is it easy? No. But moving forward is where I think the Lord wants us to go. Forward into His presence. Forward into His Word. Forward into the knowledge of who He is and all He has for us. Forward towards a peace that passes all understanding that will keep you no matter what.

  175. Carleta Billy

Bro. Mario. I’m so very sorry to hear about your dear Mother. My heart goes out to you and your family and praying for you all as well. Certainly she would want you to continue on with no break in ministry because of the timing of God and the salvation of many. Even though you know your loving mother is with God, yes, it is very, very hard. I appreciate your being open about the pain. She sounds like an amazing, resilient, Spirit-filled lady, and your tribute was so beautiful! May you sense the comfort of the Spirit during this difficult time.
My own mother and father had 7 children whom they cherished, and they loved seeing the grandchildren and great-grandbabies come along. I found it hard to lose my parents in the past decade. My husband and I left “our” neighborhood Baptist church because the pastor and the deacon board decided that people that weeping is unacceptable except at a funeral (and they never knew my parents since they live thousands of miles away), and they decided I was too emotional to continue as a Sunday School teacher. Yet now and then a hymn could quickly bring me to tears.
I am thankful that Jesus mourned Lazarus even though He knew that Lazarus would be rising from the dead. Don’t be ashamed to mourn your mother and to share the pain and grief you feel. Let the tears come. A few pastors won’t understand, but Spirit-sensitive pastors will.

Mario and Family. I grieve with you. Mother…is a status earned by few…but a term used by many. Your Mother definitely earned her title. God and His Peace will be with you. If my mother heard me criticizing anyone or complaining about their actions, she would always ask me: “Are you praying for them?” Then she would add: “You will never criticize someone you are praying for”. Yes…Mothers are special.

God is so wonderful, His ways go beyond our understanding. If we could see through their eyes and hear through their ears what their experiencing now. Being in the presence of their God we would be more than amazed. Eye has not seen nor ear has heard what great things God has for us who believe in Him. They have made it home to the promises of their Lord and cheering us on saying,” You can do all things in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Bless you Mario for looking from Heavens perspective.

I read this blog on 2/23/21- it was 11 years ago today that I lost my father.. my dad’s death hit me hard too, like I lost my right arm. How would I function? He is felt so strong in my heart everyday.. This blog meant a lot to me. I remember Carman coming to Tucson, AZ several times to do a concert at our church. I used to listen to Rush in the car and watch Apostle Price so many times. Through tears I write this, and thank you and all of them for gracing our lives and teaching us. And our parents for showing us the kind of love that only a parent can give. May God bless you and heal your heart. Just know that you mean so much to so many of us. I am praying for you and the families of Rush, Carman and Apostle Price. May God give you His shalom.

Thank you Mario. Thank you for your words and the extension of their words of encouragement and exhortation, strength and fortitude to keep pressing; to keep moving forward in this fight of Faith. As disciples ‘disciplined ones’ of our Saviour & Lord Jesus Christ. Remembering the call, the commission, the promises and His exhortation, we are not alone. Throughout each generation, there’s a call. There’s a mantle passed. We can do all things through His Anointing which strengthens us. Thank you to these mighty servants of The Most High who truly paved a way. Pastor/Dr Price, I grew up under his teaching and later my children also came to The Lord through his teaching and love for Jesus and grew in Jesus and the knowledge of His word. Carman touched our young people through not just his ministry but his touchable love for Christ and them. They had the opportunity to minister w/ him at a concert in their hometown. He ministered to the young and older, stirring up bold faith and courage to Stand Strong & always fight the good fight of Faith. Your Mom’s strength, love & courage lives on through you. And Rush’s voice will be remembered and heard for years to come. Thank you for the inspiration to press on. The comfort through the passings of our loved ones. May The Shalom Peace of God uphold us, and ‘His’ everlasting Joy continue to be our strength, as we move forward in these days ahead. Not loosing hope, remembering His words, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ, our Lord. To The Glory of our God our Father & His. Amen.

Praying as you grieve the loss of your mother. I too am grieving the loss of my mother, her memorial is tomorrow. My heart hurts as I’m sure yours does. My only comfort is knowing she is with the Lord and is now pushing me to move forward as your precious mother is moving you to keep moving forward. There is comfort knowing our mothers are with the Lord but there is that hole that will never be filled. The night before my mother passed she told me “Jesus is standing right here next to my chair.” I knew that he had come to take her home. God bless you and your ministry and comfort you in your loss.

Thank you Mario for writing this blog. February has been a tough month. Personally our class of 78 lost two people in one day and the next a classmate lost his younger sister to a second heart attack. I have had my own health struggles since Jan 1, I know the toll of losing a mom. Mine passed on six years ago this may. She was not godly but man it hit heart. I struggled to want to do anything. All I did was cry. The day she died I felt her presence with me that night. I decribe that loss like the severing of the umbellicle chord. I cried for months and rarely went anywhere other then work. Healing came to me in getting her jewelry box and wearing her jewelery for two years. I will pray for you that the God of all comfort will comfort and strengthen you. Yes they are exhorting us to carry on. I am. thankful I still have my dad who turned 94 on feb 22. anyhow I pray for replacements and an uyrising.

    Dear Mario,
First I want to express my sincere sympathy regarding the passing of your beautiful mother. I just read the article you wrote honoring her.I have heard you tell about your mom. It is obvious how much you love her.
I am 80 years old and the mother of 5 children. It breaks my heart to think of them grieving when I go to heaven. I’ve told them to think of how much I love them.
Mario, Your mom is in the arms of her Savior but she will never leave your heart. She is only one sweet memory away from you.
May God continue to bless you, your family and your ministry. May He keep you safe as you win those souls for His glory.?
