The Nazis had a phrase which they used in order to cover all abuses by the state: “Für ihre sicherheit.” Meaning, what we do is “for your safety.” As I was walking recently through a home improvement store with my wife, I heard this recorded message blaring through their P.A system, “We are doing all we can to ensure your safety.”
Before I go any further, I want to give you a revelation about Christians in America. We are similar to the Jews who went into captivity in Babylon. Jeremiah the prophet instructed the Jews, “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace” (Jeremiah 29:7). I believe God is giving Christians that same mandate in this hour, in regard to America.
Some will disagree with my comparing America to Babylon, because they believe America is a Christian nation. To a degree they are correct, but no nation can be fully Christian because Jesus told us, “My kingdom is not of this earth” (John 18:36).
The best that can be said is that any nation which is sympathetic to the teachings of Jesus and honors the church will be blessed with freedom. If America removes the welcome mat for Christianity, she will not survive.
Just as the Jews were a blessing to a nation that held them captive, we are to be a special blessing to America on the eve of her destruction. God has chosen the American church to play a heroic role in our nation’s most desperate hour.
To do so we must put away all self-righteous smugness. We must ignore the voices that are telling us this is not our fight. In nation after nation, Christians have had the opportunity to extend their faith beyond their church buildings: in soul winning, healing, and in justice. That last virtue is the call of this hour.
The pandemic offered the perfect storm for Democrat Governors to unleash their despotism. They sent preachers to jail who had not broken any laws. They terrified innocent barbers and hairdressers by seizing their licenses, their livelihoods, and then invading their homes. In one particular case, they interrogated the 6-year-old child of a hairdresser, without her permission. Storm troopers—for that is precisely what they are—crashed into churches, and homes, arresting people who honestly did not understand the vague, ambiguous, and ever-changing stay-at-home orders.
What is even more horrifying than these illegal acts of search and seizure, is the sheep-like reaction of so many Americans. Indeed, like trained seals, we have barked when they said, “Bark!” and rolled over on command because they offered us a shiny fish, called ‘safety.’ There is a vast difference between being safe, and being secure.
Where is the outrage over blue-state Governors like Gavin Newsom (CA), Gretchen Whitmer (MI), and Ralph Northam (VA)? They have become arrogant, cruel, and criminal. They claim their actions are based on science, and they are, but the problem is that it is political science.
They have scared millions into frittering away their rights. What began as fear of a sickness, has mutated into a paralyzing fear of the state. That is why they can ignore the Constitution, and kill people through despair and addiction. This is no mission to save lives, it is a bloodless coup to take over a nation.
Am I going too far by accusing them of killing people? They are killing people by keeping them imprisoned in their homes, euthanizing their small businesses, and driving them to addiction and suicide. Doctors, not preachers, are the ones who are protesting the spike in suicide, which can be directly tied to people who have been trapped in their homes.
Where is the outrage? Where are the voices of reason? But most of all, where is the church?
I repeat! We must put away our self-righteous smugness. We must ignore the voices that tell us this is not our fight. Not only is it our fight—I believe we ‘have come to the kingdom for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).
Only the church has the special power required for this dark night of our national soul. Only churches can demonstrate the light, the power of prayer, and the authority that will pull the bloody talons of Satan off of the throat of America.
There is a part of me that wishes Trump had waited before issuing his declaration that churches should open. Because it robbed pastors of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to show courage—to stand against all the illegal forces arrayed against the Bill of Rights, and to stage a massive protest. These Governors needed to see the church en masse sending them the clear message that we will obey God and not man!
Still, there is ample opportunity for preachers to do heroic exploits against these political gangsters. It begins with the revelation that Satan is using the narcotic of ‘false safety’ to endanger freedom.
Act we must. Preach we must. There must come upon us a universal sense of destiny that the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is in America at this hour for the express purpose of defeating this evil.

This blog was doing the same except for when you mentioned that you wished that President Trump would not have moved on the Governors opening up churches when he did because the pastors should have had the opportunity to stand up. This is not something I like having to say but they wouldn’t have! They are still not! Someone thought I was throwing water on you and that really is not at all my intention and I believed that you would not take it that way or I would not have said anything. There was a comment on my response to your blog that thought that I was inferring that I was waiting on Pastors to move in order to do what God is calling me as an indiviual to do. I am definitely not. That was really my point I believe we have to have greater discernment on when and if we wait at times that’s all. I do want Pastors and all of the Body to fulfill their role. Very much! I think it’s just that the Lord is helping me to not put my hope or energy in the wrong direction and for the wrong reasons. It breaks my heart to think that there are those that really are going to decide that they aren’t willing to let go of carnal perspectives for various reasons to follow Jesus in the Body of Christ and especially those we stipulate as leaders. I believe that the entire Body of Christ is going through a time of filtering as individuals and we are either choosing to allow the Holy Spirit to take away what is not of Him or what will hinder us in moving forward. There seems to be such a incredible high level of call to refinement and only He knows the elements that are needing to be addressed in our hearts and minds that manifest in our choices. I have never experienced such a level of surgically precise refinement and correction in my walk with the Lord. The isolation started far before Covid 19 of pulling us aside and isolating the elements in our lives that we have included in our foundation that are not to be trusted in. The perspectives that are not His/eternal. Our flesh is always looking for the thing to trust in that doesn’t require God Faith and denying ourselves. Seems that He is really showing the Body the things that we are trusting in that are not Him and it’s time to let go. Anyhow, I am rattling on now… I just wanted to tell you I am so aware that you are under pressure and consonantly have people trying to tell you they way you should do things and that’s why I normally don’t say anything because I don’t want to add to that predicament. I simply shared what I believe the Holy Spirit was already dealing with me on and wanted to share it with you. Since you have mentioned Gov. Newsom, this brings me to my concern. I am very worried about Trump Jr. and his relationship with Gov. Newsom’s ex-wife. The girl friend may be an ex-wife, but there had to be agreement at some level for a marriage to take place, and this Governor is Pelosi ‘s nephew.

by the time married people get divorced there is most usually NO doubt that there are irreconcilable differences, but that also the 2 who’d once become one can NO longer stand each other!… so much so that at the very least one of the 2 married partners has completely departed from that relationship in every way conceivable.
More often than not there is so much pain and anger from the entire ordeal it is common that the 2 never see each other nor communicate again even when they live in the same town. If there are children from the marriage until those children are grown adults, they are the ONLY connection that the divorced couple have and even that connection is defiled by the reality that these two human beings are just plain morbidly DONE with each other.
ONLY in television and movies do the ex-spouses have an on going relationship and trust me even if that were mostly true in real life, that is the rare and unusual and can be abnormally unhealthy.
You ask how I come to this conclusions, I am a prior divorcee as well as having become a divorce care counselor along with my husband of 27 years, who is one also.
Additionally, few to zero states in the US make divorce an easy judicature. NO fault states, as many are nowadays, still adjudicate marital divorces with endless platitudes and judicial insistences that create nightmarish lengthy challenges and outcomes.
Based upon this reality alone, there’s no reason to assume Kimberly Gilfoyle, Newsom’s ex, would have anything at all left for or with CA Gov. Newsom.
Hopefully, if they do have to deal with each other on occasion, they find a way to navigate past their many realized combative differences.

This is why God had Malachi the prophet speak against it. My husband of 27 years is the one God sent to me after divorce, he and I dedicated our lives to Christ Yeshua and in helping combat the dark spirit that overwhelms people during and after divorce. Only through Christ can divorced people recover enough to begin a new life all over again. This is why Malachi 2: 14–16 says;
” Because The Lord has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have acted treacherously against her, though she was your marriage partner and your wife by covenant…If he hates and divorces his wife, says The Lord God of Israel, he covers his garment with injustice…Therefore watch yourselves carefully and do not act treacherously.”
Thank God for His Grace through our Lord Christ.
We, the church, have had opportunity for months now, to show bravery in the face of tyranny.

I believe that there will be those that will allow Jesus to correct their courses and I am so thankful for that but I do agree that there are far too many that have grown so comfortable in their 501C3’s that they are more afraid of breaking breaching those perimeters than they are of disobeying God by not leading the way as the Holy Spirit leads them according the the Word. I pray for boldness to come on these Pastor with the conviction of the Holy Spirit that they will be counted as those that do not shrink back!
