BEING AWARE THAT AMERICA IS BEING DESTROYED IS NOT ENOUGH

by | May 22, 2020 | Christianity Today | 20 comments

You are awake. You see how the overreach of radical leftists has permanently ruined people’s lives. You have come to realize they aren’t trying save the lives of everyone— just the ‘preferred’ lives—the lives of those who advance their narrative; the lives of those who, in their minds, justify this draconian house arrest, this imposition of undeclared martial law.

You see how lives are being lost to suicide—because people’s jobs, homes, and hopes have gone up in flames. But those losses don’t count. The thousands, who in every economic crash become addicted and overdose, don’t count either. Opioid overdoses are expected to claim 25,000 lives in the U.S., this year.

What would we learn if we could really calculate how many people the lockdown is killing? Even if it’s killing more than it is saving, it would not matter to the Left. What if the permanent damage to our economy is the real horror? We will never know, because that kind of investigation is strictly verboten.

This lockdown is vital to the Left. They need it. They need it because their plan is to topple Trump and make socialism appealing. They need the Deep State-controlled media to keep touting its benefits—it’s their new “inconvenient truth.” It’s their humanitarian camouflage. It’s why they unceasingly shame voices like yours and mine.

Gavin Newsom just confirmed what we suspected. He will close churches in California for 3 more months. He will make them the phase last to open.  This is the abuse of the shutdown to punish the church I predicted. Thank God that President Trump stepped in and overruled Democrat Governors by ordering the churches open.

In a national crisis, all lives should matter. Logical people would conclude that there will never be a day when there is no risk, and because of that, we must make some hard choices in order to save the most lives. Such logic evaporates under the tyranny of zealots with a raging fever to control every aspect of human life.

But just being aware that America is being destroyed is not enough. If you have fire in your belly, that is not enough either. We must take action, both as Christians and as patriots. So then, what do we do?

We begin with a rude awakening. It was ‘safe church,’ led by impotent shepherds, oozing false politeness and allowing ignorance of both government and the Bible that frittered away our rights as Americans. We were told by those in power to be nice little Christians, when instead, we should have been equipping disciples capable of pushing back the evil.

Next, you need to quit fooling yourself about what it will take to save America. Decades of neglect and apathy have forced God to use strong medicine on us. Trump was a key part of that medicine—medicine that is hard for many to swallow.

So, here are your instructions:

STEP 1. Separate yourself from the carnal church which is aiding and abetting the failure of the Body of Christ to impact this culture.  You must ask yourself: Why is your time, money, and allegiance going to a shell corporation with religious overtones? Why are you sitting under leadership that never mentions repentance, the Bible, the Cross, the Blood, or revival?

How can you expect to pray prayers that prevail unless you are in the company of serious believers who are contending in the Spirit for mercy and revival?

Satan loves the Laodicean churches. He knows they are distracting the people from forming a true army of God.

STEP 2. Preachers must repent.  They need to repent of the fear of losing tithing members and the need for acceptance, so they can lead God’s people to urgent prayer, repentance, and training. This repentance is especially needed among urban minority pastors who know the Democrat party hates Jesus and the Bible, but are too afraid of breaking ranks with tradition and race. The blood of a nation is on the hands of preachers who know better, but refuse to obey the Holy Spirit

STEP 3. Empower those among us who already understand the systemwho are actively engaged in confronting politicians. Churches have vehemently opposed voter registration. How crazy is that?! So many have tried to show us who to call, write or email, but it has been ignored. Men of God, such as Lance Wallnau, Jay Sekulow of the ACLJ, and David Barton of Wall Builders, immediately come to mind. But there are many more worthy ministries in the political arena. Just make sure you find a ministry that has a plan, and not just platitudes.

There are many ministries that are gifted in assisting and organizing the church to be politically active. We need to start listening to them, and get to work.

STEP 4. Civil disobedience. Yes, it has come to this.  We need to understand the ins and outs of illegal laws and prepare to resist them. When it is clear that a law violates the Constitution and the Word of God, we must find ways to refuse to obey those laws. This civil disobedience can be well planned and peacefully executed. We need leadership!

When the left moves to shut down the church, after the pandemic threat is over, that is when we say a loud and collective, “No!” and risk arrest, if necessary. The church which has been a cruise ship for so long must turn back into a battleship.

God will give you courage you never imagined. God will give you wisdom from beyond this world. God is looking for someone just like you to transform this dark situation. It’s your turn to do what heroes of faith have done down through the ages.

Hebrews 11:33-34, “…who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight foreign armies.”

Vessels of Fire and Glory

Vessels of Fire and Glory is Mario’s newest book. It reached number one on Amazon among all Spirit-filled books. John Kilpatrick who led the Pensacola Revival said this after he read Vessels of Fire and Glory: “As I read the manuscript for Mario Murillo’s new book, Vessels of Fire and Glory, I said to myself, “Finally!” Mario has measured the church and the nation in this season and did not hold anything back. His honesty is like the sun rising inside a dark cave. This release is a paradox—it is sobering and refreshing; it is symptoms and the cure. I believe this revivalist has penned a treatise that should be in the hands of all who lead the work of God.”

 Edgewise

Here is a book about the end times with a totally different approach. It does not focus on how the world will end but on how to live as the curtain comes down on humanity. Powerful, practical, and encouraging.

Critical Mass

Critical Mass is the best-selling book Mario Murillo has ever written. It has been acclaimed as a classic on how to pray for, surrender to, and sustain revival. It is required reading in many colleges and training centers.

Churches who oppose voter registration are far from being a church. They are merely Country Clubs filled with enemies of the cross, whose god is their belly and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things. Whose end is destruction. Only a fool would sit on the fence and lose by default.

It seems, the left has the church right where they want them, which is focusing on unconstitutional and immoral laws instead of the actual problem which is the election of the immoral people who made these laws. The unconstitutional laws and immoral governmental decrees are a symptom, not the problem.

We are not in a battle with bad laws and decrees. We are in a battle with the belief system who made these laws. The fight is between The Kingdom of Heaven and the kingdom of hell. This is not a political fight. It is a moral fight with political ramifications.

The churches political involvement needs to be coordinated with President Trump and William Barr. President Trumps response to this situation is not insignificant and needs a chance to play out. He is the one the church needs to empower on the political front. The moral front needs to be empowered by obeying Gods commandments through a relationship with Jesus Christ. True faith requires the church know what Gods promises are and living their lives as if they are true.

Wow great point. Yes some churches have become a country club as not to offend their big donors.

Lance, as always, your post is accurate and encouraging. However, I have a question about step 1 – separating ourselves from the carnal church. My husband and I did just that 11 years ago. The Southern Baptist church we were attending had the most awesome Spirit-filled and anointed pastor I had ever sat under in my entire life. Great and miraculous things were happening in our church- once you’ve tasted of the Holy Spirit’s power and presence, nothing else satisfies! But Satan got hold of a handful who didn’t like the truth being preached and they ran off the pastor, threatened his and his family’s lives. We were very involved leaders in our church and stayed behind for four years until a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” pastor was hired who totally perverted the pulpit. We left in the fall of 20`11 and have been on a search ever since for a Spirit-filled church – there are none to be found in Nashville, TN, the buckle of the Bible belt!! The Laodicean church is alive and well in middle TN. We have been to every kind of evangelical denomination around here looking for a church home. We gave up a couple years ago and started watching our former pastor on his live stream TV service.

I’ve been a Christian now for 57 years; my husband was only saved 17 years ago. This separation from the Church body has not been good for either of us spiritually. I also have had opportunity to meet dozens of people who are in the same boat we are…the “dones”, who are done playing church; who want authentic praise and worship, not a rock concert; who want alter calls and preaching of the whole scripture, not just the feel good parts. They would rather stay home than compromise and sit in a pew listening to a Joel Osteen type sermon, devoid of the Spirit. We would too, but that is not ME! I am a mover and shaker, a leader, an organization and administration type.

So, what is your solution to staying connected to the church body and still using your God-given talents and spiritual gifts if you walk away from the carnal church if there are no Spirit-filled churches to be found?

This should be a wake up call for aspiring young ministers to go to your area and open up a pioneer work.
Start a prayer group and contend for God to send a young couple that will plant there lives there.

It is not just the youth that God will use in coming days. He is raising up a tri-generational army that will include the very young to the very old.

What you say is pretty accurate all over the nation. We have gone through a time when the love of many grew cold….our spirit- filled leaders died, our fellowships disbanded, and new leaders took over who ran the church like a business. It happened in our area(Iowa), too. It has been hard to find a pastor who will preach the full Word of God. We did.Eventually…in a little denominational 4 square church. Pretty soon all our old friends who are led of the Spirit began showing up. I believe you must look hard, but their is someone in your area, too, that will feed the flock..I came out of the Catholic Church in the 70,s and we founded our own groups. .I’ve never joined a church. And the current pastor doesn’t care. I’m there all the time, and I tithe and pray for him and his family. Just wanted to let you know you’re not alone, but do keep looking. It wasn’t easy for Caleb to keep circling around either, but Joshua 14:9 is your inheritance. We all need fellowship. Be willing to go wherever you hear the Spirit leads. And pray for God to give you That which you need. Or start your own with a Bible Study in your home. Caleb received his mountain (Hebron) and so will we!

There will be an army of contact tracers.
These are folks given power to quarantine anyone they feel is a threat.
Riverside county California has hired hundreds of these people.
Bloomberg is making videos that depict a positive narrative concerning there motivation.
The point is when we open up our churches be prepared for these people to show up and harass you and your church.
Get informed and give your ushers instructions in case they target your people.

Our governor is just playing the churches along. First, it was May 31st (pre-registering first was required, which I am not about to do), then it was June 15th. Now it’s three more months? He’s playing with the churches, pastors, and Christians, enjoying his power to the hilt. And he’s not the only one. I confess, I hope Trump squashes him like a bug. Meanwhile, I do not know what our insurance company is doing. I am past due for all tests, and I hear absolutely nothing from them. If it’s not Covid, they apparently have no desire to hear from us. The only thing I have received from them was a notice to name the next of kin that I want to make decisions should I croak. I am not making this up. Okay, they didn’t say, “croak”. Does this all sound like part of the “fishiness” of this whole thing? It must disappoint them that I take almost no meds and remain in quite good health at my age.

We are in the same boat that one or 2 couples are. We went to a Spirit filled church a long time and they suddenly up and moved off. I think they couldn’t pay for the church. But we live in a pretty small town and have looked everywhere for another Spirit filled church but to no avail going on 5 years this September. We have visited some churches but they aren’t Spirit filled. My husband is a little different now and I am starved to death for it. Like you said once you have tasted it nothing else satisfies. I’m hanging on by a thread not wanting to give up. We need it bad. As I have said my husband is not the same as he was. But I keep the hope of God leading us somewhere that just haven’t found.

Dearest Mario!!! Oh how I have devoured your emails! I have forwarded them and introduced others to you. I am so happy that you met Lance! And Jay! The body needs you! Thank you for being on the front lines of this battle. I wanted to share two things with you.

1…I pray for a word each year…. one word. This year my word is “COURAGE”. The Lord actually gave me an acronym for it. ( I heard it quickly like a sentence) C- continuing O-onward U-under R-raging A-adversity with G-grace and E-effectiveness

    2. Right before the coronavirus broke out. The Lord told me he was going to make us ( baby boomers) like a war time battleship called a boomer. It is a Submarine with ballistic missiles. He said he was going to teach us how to pray and hit our target underneath the surface at the foundation and root and take out the enemy in one prayer round!

Your letter referenced both of these so I thought it would be appropriate to write you.

God bless you Mario. Thank you for your own courage and thank you for never giving up and thank you for listening to the Holy Spirit and obeying. We need men of God like you. Bless you and your family. I pray God would continue to give you wisdom and discernment as you lead and guide those remnant of believers that choose to see the truth of what is happening. I attend a large church. I am praying for discernment and what is really happening. Your letter brought me to tears when you asked does your pastor teach repentance and the cross. My heart is broken for the church right now. The last time I was in our service the Lord showed me the congregation in front of me as sleepy lethargic robots. My husband and I sit on the back row as he is paralyzed in a wheelchair. It allows me to see the congregation as we worship and pray over people. I keep a journal so that I can remember these things and pray. There’s a group of us here in Colorado Springs whose eyes have been opened. Thank you thank you thank you I look forward to your next letter.

I have read your book critical mass Several times. I met you at Melodyland Christian center in 80’s. I am now ordering your new book.

    Blessings, Debbie Hammer
