The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ inflicted the greatest wound evil has ever known. Today, in America, we need to strike evil another massive blow. To do this, we must realize that we are in a war, albeit an invisible war.
Most Christians are paralyzed by the idea that there is actually an invisible war raging all around them, even though they find themselves overwhelmed by their daily lives. They are losing their health and their mind because of supernatural stress, yet, for all of this, they refuse to acknowledge the war that is costing them dearly. But see it they must, or they will live out the rest of their days discouraged, helpless and exhausted.
Yes, it is chilling to realize that something supernatural hates you and those you love. It is even more frightening to discover how much destruction is being done to our nation by evil principalities and powers.
The Bible shows us that a floodgate of misery can be opened by supernatural evil that infiltrates a culture. Every child of God needs to study the ways these satanic spirits can be confronted and defeated.
The Bible has methods for dealing with Satan’s agenda. God yearns to reveal Himself as a mighty Warrior on behalf of those who will take the time to become armed and dangerous. But instead of heeding the cry of the Holy Spirit, most believers are content to live in dread, defeat, and confusion.
The evil one, of course, loves to operate unseen and wants you to live on the defensive. He wants you reacting instead of acting. He wants you to feel that darkness is inevitable and that the works of vile men cannot be reversed. In fact, the wicked one wants you to believe that the overpowering demands of your everyday life are so great that you cannot even consider being a warrior in the larger battle for the soul of a nation. What better way is there to dismantle America, than to prevent the army of God from ever entering the theater of battle?
Let me speak plainly. Have you had enough? Are you ready to reopen the Bible and apply its message of supernatural victory to your life?
Your road map to victory begins by asking the right questions.
1. What is God’s will for me as a warrior? There are other, bigger questions that we must answer, but this one comes first. The Bible tells you that your Heavenly Father wants you strong, securing the thoughts and emotions in your mind, to force them to submit to truth. Confess that your Father wants to make you a mighty warrior by training for victory and living in a culture of victory that has been forged by habitual breakthroughs in battle.
Ephesians 6:10-13 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
You must settle the question of your victory in this war. Yes, you must fight, but you are designed for triumph in battle. Admit that the evil one has had the upper hand because of your ignorance of both the Word of God and the heart of God, and that you are done with this ignorance once and for all.
That you may not yet know how to fight, does not matter at this point. You may not yet have your emotions under control. What you need now is to know beyond knowing that God your Father has assured you inward and outward victory.
2. Now you must take your stand. “Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6: 14-17).
This is your personal declaration of war. Some balk at this, because the idea that they are challenging Satan awakens fear. “If I announce my opposition to Satan I open myself up to attack.” This is simply not true. You are already under attack. The only difference is that now you are fighting back.
It is a disastrous myth to think that if you leave Satan alone, he will leave you alone. That is like believing that the bull will not charge, because you are a vegetarian.
Since you are going to be attacked anyway, you must learn how to return fire. Nothing matches prayer for retaliation against Satan.
3. Now we must begin praying prayers that get through and prevail. The truth that God has limited some of His activity to our prayers is a great mystery. However, we do not have the luxury of waiting until we unravel this mystery before we avail ourselves of the great privilege of prevailing prayer.
When Jesus taught us that we need to pray, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” the clear message is that God is waiting for us to enforce the victory He won on the Cross. Simply put, heaven comes to earth in ‘segments’ as the product of fervent prayer. We are commissioned, empowered and trained to take high-value ground that was once the unchallenged property of Satan.
It is urgent that you see why Paul, after telling us to be strong and to put on all of the armor in Ephesians 6, concludes his admonition with verse 18: “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”
‘Prayer’ and ‘prevailing prayer’ can look the same, but they are very different. You may have been praying, but then settled for something that is not the will of God. The angel told Daniel, “Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words. 13 But the ruler of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief rulers, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia” (Daniel 10:12-13).
Whatever it takes: The modern spoon-fed believer cannot imagine warring for 21 minutes let alone 21 days. Yet, it is this tenacity in intercession that changes the world. You pray fervently, utterly and without regard to time or personal sacrifice because your marriage, your children, grandchildren, and the miracles that God yearns to bring, are worth it!
Consider that, being an Old Testament saint, Daniel did not have the risen savior, Jesus, interceding at the right hand of God. The victory of Calvary was still a future event and its eternal benefits were not yet in place. How much more then should we be even bolder in prayer than Daniel!
First you counterpunch against the attacks on your soul. Then you take on the attacks against your loved ones. You enlarge your retaliation to envelope health, finances, taxes, enemies, and everything that is in your life.
With each victory comes a deeper resolve. You exhale, knowing you are finally on the offensive, driving back devils that you once tolerated for reasons you cannot even remember. The days of dread are in your rear view mirror.
Yes, you will be attacked again, but now instead of dread, you welcome the opportunity to exercise your new found boldness in prayer and to see the new kinds of intervention that the Holy Spirit will unfold.
4. Now you have earned the right to call America back to God through prayer! You can ask questions you never asked before. Arthur Matthews said, “Questions again flood our minds. How do these spirit powers exert their influence in society? Where do they get in? Is there a distinctive modus operandi that would help us identify them? What can or what should we be doing to control and prevent their intrusion?”
Here is a historical fact that should deeply sober every American Christian: Israel lost the knowledge of God in one generation. Judges 2:10,11 says, “When all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel. Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served the Baals.”
America is following in their footsteps. The forces of Satan in our government are guilty of waging outright war on the things that made America great. Dr. Ben Carson, formerly the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and currently Secretary of HUD under Trump, said, “Let’s say somebody… wanted to destroy this nation, I would create division among the people, encourage a culture of ridicule for basic morality and the principles that made and sustained the country, undermine the financial stability of the nation, and weaken and destroy the military. It appears, coincidentally, that those are the very things that are happening right now.”
Satan has saved his very best lie for God’s remnant. Remember that Jesus said that, if it were possible, even the chosen people of God would be deceived (Matthew 24:24). Satan is using a special lie to deceive the elect of God! Satan is even imitating the voice of the Holy Spirit to tell this lie! He is doing this because this remnant is the final firewall stopping his agenda for America.
In a nutshell, here is the deceiving message from the devil to the righteous core: “The best days of the Church are behind you. God must judge America to allow the return of Christ. God cannot bring another Great Awakening to America, because He does not want to.” We are being told that the times are too hard, the task is too great, and we are too small.
We are seeing every day that certain forces active in our government have dreadful plans to overrule the Constitution and come after our freedoms. What do we do with this information? The saints in Damascus heard Saul of Tarsus was coming with authority to arrest and execute Christians. Those believers could have cited end-time prophecy to justify running and hiding, but instead they took their stand. They set themselves to fervent prayer that unleashed the power of heaven on the situation, and God sent a light as bright as the sun that knocked Saul to the ground and ended the threat. As a bonus to this victory, the Church received a new Apostle named Paul.
In this hour, our revival prayer must be mingled with two seemingly opposing attitudes: An utter desperation that believes that God must do it again, and a violent confidence that God will do it! Hallelujah!

CORRECT AGAIN Mario!!!
Some of the usual bloggers on your site might recall my testimony regarding my bother’s desperate stroke & following illnesses that occurred last March 2019.
For those who don’t remember, my brother (a formerly buff body builder) suddenly had a major brain stroke that crippled him, he had just turned 60.
Part of the ensuing body trauma caused by the severe stroke was partial paralyzation of the right side of his body. He also had to learn to swallow again, speak again, and to walk (with the help of a special walker) again. This left his right arm and hand unable to be used (of course he is right handed). He is mainly wheelchair bound (that’s easier & safer, he is now a fall risk) and severely handicapped. Just day before yesterday I took him again to the Drs office due to the complete edema (massive swelling) that had encompassed his body from lack of movement. His “paralyzed right hand” which had become completely swollen to the size of a baseball mitt looked ominous.
The DRS felt that such swelling and acute paralyzation, probably would not even slightly remit for quite some time. And this is painful, my brother’s type of stroke left only feelings of pain to be experienced but without any normal ability to move those limbs effected.
I called my 86 yr old Dad in Calif. who is a Believer in Christ, and told him the bad news and that DRS say my brother is going down hill quickly. We began to pray fervently and with Kingdom protocol in mind.
I remembered what Mario has said about prayer, I remembered what Lance Wallnau said about this years 2020 “decree” directive in prayer and Dad and I prayed it all together over the phone.
Yesterday afternoon I went to my brother’s apt., to take him all his Rx’s, I glanced down at his dear right hand and arm, and ALL THE SWELLING WAS VANISHED…GONE…DISAPPEARED. His hand was NORMAL, open fingers, relaxed (his hand had been closed into a fist for a year)!!!!
I have NO doubt It was a miracle, an overnight miracle. ?? ?? Jesus Christ The King heard our prayer and answered it quickly. My Dad and I KNOW that my brother’s total healing has just begun and brothers hand is the first sign.
AMEN…AMEN….AMEN… I have now given YOU my witness ? My Lord is with me like a dread Champion!

After reading this, the same question I have after reading all Brother Mario’s posts came to my mind: what specifically can I, just a lone retiree, do about it? This morning the answer came swiftly once I thought about Saul on the Damascus road and realized that some saint or group of saints had prayed for him! “Who is the most evil person you know?” I guess, Lord, today it would be Adam Schiff. “Pray for him!” So I did, I prayed for the Spirit of repentance to dog his every step, take up residence in his home, follow him to his office and sit next to him in Congress! I prayed that he would be moved to seek out the Word of God and the sweet counsel of Godly saints! I prayed he would come to the knowledge that the Lord Jesus loved him so much He was willing to die for him, and that his every word and deed is not hidden from God, and he, Adam Schiff, will be called to account for them! May this man be gloriously saved and converted for all to see, hallelujah!
Well, that’s not the usual course of my morning prayers. But I know this is straight from God’s heart. Maybe you who read this have been similarly moved to pray for the leading characters in the Washington DC drama. What a great way to “take them out”! So today, I will fast and pray for Adam Schiff. To God be the glory!

God has taken many of us on a new deeper, wider experience in this evil day. I have testified on this blog before that God took me to Haggai, and instructed me to live by the motto, “The best is still ahead.” (Not natural for me!) Also to Numbers 13 and 14. UNBELIEF cost them the land of promise and blessing. It is a better way of life now to speak and believe like Caleb and Joshua than to agree with the ten dead spies who rejected God and his promises. “God, we are well able to do all you promised, giants or no giants, I receive your promises, I’m going in.” Hebrews 4 promises access to the throne room, boldly through Christ. That before the throne we find grace, mercy, and help in our time of need. The prayer closet Jesus spoke of is not a room in my physical house, but in my soul, spirit, mind, and heart. I go there by faith, and bow before the Father in prayer. I enter His gates with thanksgiving, I come to His courts with praise. As my adversary accuses me before God, he is defeated by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of my testimony. God’s word in prayer is a valid restraining order, issued by God, that satan has to vacate what is mine by prayer and stay away. Invariably someone will reply, “Thses are the last days, the rapture is coming, antichrist and judgement are on the way.” Well, Jesus said occupy until he comes. Jesus said he is searching now to seek and save the lost. Work while there is still day. Jesus asked, “Will the Son of Man find faith when he comes?” It is better to live in active faith and belief than to give place to the devil by surrendering and waiting around for the rapture. Souls need to be brought to Jesus BEFORE he comes. God, give us the nations, give us America, give us our corrupt government, give us our children, give us the compromised institutional church, let God arise his enemies be scattered! Let the sons and daughters of a mighty God refuse to quit and be silent!

I would add to what you’ve said, that since these are the last days & the Rapture is a reward as well as a gift of God, why would anyone who’s a devout committed saint within the Household of Faith, not stand strong in The Lord and the power of His might and by so doing, find themselves already “occupying” until He comes again?! I would conjecture, that those who view the last days scenario & the Rapture as a reason to not occupy and “do” the works of The Lord, these are probably those weaker parts of the body of Christ Paul spoke about, who need the stronger body members extra prayers and our on going example-ship.?
Joshua and Caleb’s attitude always seemed to be…”we have all we need, let’s go”! So even by their ancient standards, we who have come to “the fulness of time”, as Paul said, should be even more attitudinal about our perseverance in modern dark days. We simply must never give up, never give in, thanks to Christ we always win.?
AMEN!!! Thank you for this. May the Lord raise up an army of warriors who know who we are in Christ, and the authority He has chosen to entrust to us.

I humbly ask for a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit makes all the difference. It turns timid mice into roaring lions. It breaks off every chain of besetting sin that has held back weary saints. I humbly ask for the initial baptism in the Holy Spirit for those still seeking in the upper room with the sign of mighty tongues of fire. The Holy Spirit is our answer for this hour!

Scare Mario,. This greeting was supposed to say dear Mario but it’s voice activated and it said scare my rear so I’ll just add to this scare Mario impossible thank you for the incredible encouragement in prayer that strikes, of of course God wants to bring a great Awakening like the Jesus movement.I was born again during that Jesus movement a sad and confused and rebellious hippie . We were like the great city of Nineveh and did not know her right hand from I left but a merciful god came and he transformed so many of us and we are still transformed and we are still carrying the fire from that Revival right on into this next one hallelujah..whatever I was or whatever I was not I still carried that fire carried that prayer and cried out for the next Revival which I believe is upon us right now and Mario Murillo Ministries is going to be an effective part of it. I thank you that you’ll be there to introduce Jesus to all these desperately needed people and he will move inside of them and do that incredible life-changing work that I remember when I was a young person dead in sin . If I had at Jesus I would be dead by now or living in a prison somewhere. I was lost and undone and had not a clue. I remember the vineyard and Calvary chapel on the West coast. I remember Mario when he came to Santa Barbara California and we all showed up to hear him. God knows what to do and he will show us our part. He’s a lot bigger God and most of us ever gave him credit for. I know he’s going to do great merciful and wonderful signs and wonders and there’s just no other way nowadays . It looks like things are too far gone but they aren’t God used reluctant Jonah to go to Nineveh and there he made it very big change very quickly. It’s the same God today as it was back then. Lord surround Mario with a host of fearless warriors. None of us have a chance without Jesus dead center of our lives.
