Evangelical leaders hailed Trump as a type of King Cyrus. Now they are bailing on him because they can’t take the heat. Just when he needs the church the most they abandon ship.
Fellow preachers, do we need to be reminded about the miracle we saw on election night? For weeks, we were told he had no chance to win. Have you forgotten how close we came to a nuclear winter called Hillary?
Do we need to be reintroduced to the obvious? Look at who hates him, and you will find every reason to stand with him. The same people that hate Israel, hate Trump. The same people who want to kill Trump, want to kill the unborn. The same people that want to silence Trump, want to silence the church.
Pastor, his enemies are your enemies. Those who want to stop his policies, also want to stop your vision.
He tweets. Get over it! When virtually every news outlet lies about him…how else will he get the truth out?
He is rough and crude. So, what? Draining the swamp in Washington is not the job for your breathy voiced yoga instructor. Trump is the strong medicine God chose.
He has enraged all the usual suspects: Teacher’s unions, socialist hippies, gas bag college professors, and all the cuckoo caucuses infesting our halls of government.
I want to remind my esteemed yet timid colleagues our children are getting a nutty education. Life doesn’t hand out participation trophies. Life won’t let you retreat to your safe place. Do you honestly believe that the drivel doled by leftists in the name of “education” will teach hard work, perseverance, and character?
Trump’s determination to make us strong in a hostile world is condemned as “nationalism.” His campaign to make education rational is condemned as “out of date.” Only drug addled moonbeams can find fault with common sense.
Our morally bankrupt leaders don’t know how to solve problems. My generation put a man on the moon—this generation put a man in the girl’s bathroom. I am not attacking transgender people. I am illustrating how—when it comes to priorities—liberalism rots the brain. With the life-threatening problems we face they focus on this?
In the next 90 days we will see the most blatant attack—in our history—on everything we value as believers.
The last thing President Trump should feel right now is that he is alone. He must feel the fervent prayers of the Body of Christ. He must hear your voice supporting his valiant moves to unwind the snake Obama wrapped around the throat of our democracy.
Dear preacher did you support Trump because of a fad fever? Are you silent because of the backlash? If you believe Trump is a miracle, and a type of King Cyrus, then act like it! Seize this divine opportunity to stand with policies that best reflect our values. Don’t chicken out now that the heat is on.
I never voted for Trump because I heard some goose-bump prophecy. I came to my decision in prayer. I studied history. I saw us sinking into the same quicksand that ended prior nations. I looked at our choices and it was crystal clear that Trump was not just the best choice—he was the only choice. He still is.

The only way those of us who love him can help shoulder his load is through the Spirit. The flesh part of me would love to go to Washington and knock some heads together but the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds! Understood Sharon Weldon?…I’ve known Donald J Trump since 1989, and people do not know what a giving person he really is! I do! Then Mr Trump, helped my Brother and I in our family business from clear across the nation, Mr Trump (in NY) liked our business theme and idea in the West, he didn’t know us personally, but had met our Mother & her Husband when they were on a Cruse and from that time on Trump supported our company in varied ways.

I see him as a type of David, not Cyrus. Yes, Cyrus was a shepherd…so is Trump, and most definitely is David. Both David and Donald loved their countries and the people they shepherded. Both David and Donald relied upon Gods wisdom and worshipped Him. Both David and Donald are warriors. No matter whom one thinks he is a type of, he is here to give the Church both vision and courage…. as well as opportunity, which we would not have had if Hilary won the election. He’s not here to drain the swamp, but he is here to reveal the swamp. We probably don’t win the fight for America, but that doesn’t mean we don’t fight. Winning this fight doesn’t necessarily mean America returns to righteousness, winning to the saints at Smyrna meant dying in faith….but we resist the evil and we hold the door open for deliverance for a final gleaning of American souls. I have been reading the Psalms of David for a couple months now. I see so many of King David’s predicaments which are now facing President Trump that it is mind-boggling. Many verses from the Psalms can be directly used and prayed towards our President. I personally pray Psalm 64:2 over our President.

Who are all the evangelicals that are bailing on President Trump? It would be good to have names and not just an open ended vague statement. We pray for President Trump, Vice President Pence and different members of his cabinet. It is stupid to think that the devil won’t stir the stew so to speak and try to defeat President Trump and what he stands for. He is a man that has put himself out there for what he believes. That is more than I can say for the five fold ministry of the monetized gospel. I do understand they need to keep their options open and it is time for the body of Christ to wake up. We are on our own for the most part and the five fold is a no show. Press in and find the will of God and stay with that.

We are seeing Satan doing everything he can do to destabilize our nation. We have had three mass shootings within seven days. Satan is using lost young men, often who are seeking meaning, to do extremist acts.
However the result is that it drives conservatives, especially evangelicals, deeper into prayer.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
I, and others around me, know that President Trump is God’s appointed leader, and we are praying for him and his family to remain bold, and for us to do the same. I, too, find the church (little ‘c’) becoming less and less relevant and influential in the war raging around us. But the true Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is arising with power and strength, boldness and truth as never before. We will grow in number as we discover that there are many, not just a few, who have and will pay the price to see righteousness prevail. Bless the Lord, for our God reigns, and though there may be casualties and battles lost, we will prevail, for God is with us. May we be prepared to wage war, loving not our lives, until that is done.
I Have not personally heard of any Evangelicals walking away or Abandoning our President, but if I did I would be inclined to remind them of these words so eloquently spoken by Jesus Himself:
“When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.”
The Resolve we find in staying engaged in this battle is in Understanding the war that is being waged. That the war in Heaven is manifesting itself in the Natural. As Satan battles for the Throne in Heaven so to do men that serve him battle for the Throne of this World. It is a Timeless battle that has been Waging since the Dawn of Time and Satan’s Goal on Earth is to Rise to Power and Reign over us Completely by Centralizing Government so to eliminate any opposition to Him.
If you have not been called to this battle then i have to wonder if you were ever even called by God in the first place? Did you think this would be a good career choice? Did you decide it was a good idea to help people and make a living in the process? Who Saves? Who Redeems? Who has Ultimate Power and Authority? Who Decides when to act? Who chooses the instruments and weapons of war? Who is Sovereign?

Those that understand the Nature of this battle will never abandon it, because they have been Called to Battle by the Ultimate Authority. They have Discerned the Signs of the Times, They Fully Understand what’s at stake, They Understand the Scope of this Battle and the wiles of the evil one. I am reminded of John 1:23 where the prophet Isaiah said, “I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness.” Unfortunately the wilderness in our country is comprised of what used to be our moral fabric in this country namely the churches. It is an extremely sad commentary when a pastor in Virginia allows the president to speak in his church, and within a very short amount of time, he receives death threats and has to increase his security. A number of Christian authors have suggested that the main thrust of these churches, of too many churches, is simply to fill the pews on Sunday. My wife and I stand with you and all else who or trying to support a president who believes in our Father and His Son and the Holy Spirit. Please continue your efforts and we will pray for you often.

Bless you Mario for trumpeting the TRUTH! As I’m writing this the President and First Lady are at the hospital in Dayton visiting survivors of the shooting. There are leaders shunning him, and protesters. And just now Beto O’Rourke in El Paso spoke against the President and said they needed to stand against him, and stand for the truth (lower case). So – as I’m praying over him and for him right now, I’m asking for God’s TRUTH to prevail. That His Glory would rise over this darkness. And that the Lord would use this visit to bless and comfort the survivors and all the first responders in Dayton and El Paso.
My dear brother, you have “hit the nail on the head” as we say in the south. There are a couple of points that I would like to make though regarding “church leaders.” The reason many of these are bailing is the fulfillment of Jesus prophetic declaration in John 12:7-15 7″Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.” The other point is that the modern day organized institution called church has always been and will always be ineffective in the war against evil due to it’s very nature and calling. Again, it is man’s idea of what he thinks God’s Kingdom ought to be. Instead of Jesus being the head, KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS, we have a system that has attempted to mix the “precious with the vile.” No longer will the LORD of GLORY tolerate this vile mixture. He is in the process of, “separating the precious from the vile.” In 1 Peter 2: 4-10 we read the following, “To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”
My dear brother I am now 74 years old and I refuse to buy into the lies and nonsense that men have used to rule the minds of God’s people for millennia and they call it church. NONSENSE!
