Separate

A massive number of Christians are experiencing a strange miracle.  And we are discovering that this was predicted—in detail.

The Holy Spirit is separating them. He has selected them for special grace and power to accomplish mighty acts at the edge of history. They will be uniquely equipped to face the sophisticated evil of our time. But it all begins by making peace with the Holy Spirit and restoring His rightful place in our hearts and in the church.

Take a close look at the book of Acts and you will see the disarming down-to-earth way they related to the Holy Spirit. While they revered Him deeply, they had a sense of His nearness and His involvement in their day to day operation. They behaved as if He was close by and they could almost see Him. Most of all, they anticipated His instructions.

Acts 13:2 “As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” 3 Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.”

Millions are now hearing the same call: “SEPARATE TO ME!” The Holy Spirit told David Wilkerson about this coming separation, and how pockets of prophetic people would huddle together across our nation.

He said, “God-hungry people are saying among themselves, “This is not it. There is something more. The bigness and the sensationalism of it all has left us empty and dry. We want more. More than entertainment. More than big, showy buildings. More than a shallow celebrity gospel. We want deeper values. We want to see Jesus. We want spotless robes of righteousness. We want to go back to doing things in total dependence on God.”

Many of these people were chased out of churches that were once fiery, Spirit-filled churches that had taken on a new ‘seeker-friendly’ format. They saw their church now focused on church growth, down-playing the presence of the Holy Spirit, and only designed to attract outsiders. They felt punished for wanting a move of God.

They are fed up with the world system—especially when they see it operating in the church.  They can’t stomach the glitzy entertainment centers anymore. They believe we have no time to play games.  They are frustrated that church is catering to the lukewarm members.

They are done with egocentric preachers with grandiose, expensive and carnal visions that having nothing to do with soul winning or revival.  They accuse these preachers of being distracted—even derailed from their first love.   Disciples are abandoning “attraction” churches, and something revolutionary is happening inside them.  God is starting a fresh movement.

David Wilkerson explained more of what he saw coming: “God is revealing to all praying people that a glorious new work of the Spirit is about to break forth. God is going to shake everything that can be shaken. He will tear down the old political, backslidden, ecclesiastical system. He will disown the formal, super-church structure. He will chase out of His presence all who are engaging in self-promoting ministries.”

The praying people he mentions will force changes.  They are a new breed for a new need. They are frustrated, hungry, and their numbers are growing fast.  They are coalescing around certain truths: fasting, repentance, and holy surrender to Christ.

Smith Wigglesworth saw this separation coming way back in 1927.  He predicted the same group of people that  David Wilkerson described: “All the people which are pressing into and getting ready for this glorious attained place where they shall not be found naked, where they shall be blameless, where they shall be immovable, where they shall be purified by the power of the Word of God, have within them a consciousness of the very presence of God within, changing their very nature and preparing them for a greater thing, and causing them to be ready for translation.”

Both men believed that this gathering unto the Holy Spirit would begin after a great falling away.

Wigglesworth said, “We have to see that these days have to come, before the Lord can come. There has to be a falling away. There are in the world two classes of believers. There are believers which are disobedient, or I ought to say there are children which are saved by the power of God which are disobedient children. And there are children which are just the same saved by the power of God, who all the time are longing to be more obedient.”

I know that the moment predicted by these two men is upon us. Every day, I receive another account of frustrated saints who have been suddenly driven to hours of prayer. Many are fasting. A vast number are about to find each other in a true outbreak of holy fire. Millions of believers across America feel they are being separated to the Holy Spirit for some amazing, yet unknown, reason. David Wilkerson talked about a “work” within us. Smith Wigglesworth talked about “pressing in.” The image is clear…the Holy Spirit is stirring souls across the nation. They are done with the overuse of big screens, skinny jeans, and fog machines.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal! But mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds!

These frustrated saints are being pulled away from fleshly things, even as a spirit of prayer is overtaking them. They are surrendering to a special work of the Holy Spirit. A fresh work of the Holy Spirit has begun, and the impact will soon be widespread in all the earth!

With a Father that love’s us so, into a world he has told us to go, in the power and might of his precious son, who in the Holy Ghost has made us one, with a mission we are sent from above, to show his ways in correction and love, for when his son soon shall arive he will find us filled and fully alive, for the fire purifys the body and soul, and leads us to the master who should be in complete control, for if we trust and obey him, then the more souls we are going to win, but first we must be willing to die to self, because with him in the way, we can’t get to nobody else. RDC 6/30/19
We must have a hunger for God and to do his will, we have to know him through his word, and praise and worship, to much self worship, most want a song that touches there heart, and as I said before I want a song that goes up and touches Gods heart, and sends his mighty presence down and lays me out on the floor, with out his presence I die, singing makes the heart feel good, thats why even some country songs or rock and roll make you feel good, but thats flesh, even rock stars feel that, but I find a song that touches my masters heart, and he sends down his presence, you say how do you know what song, Because he sends down his presence, you can’t manufacter it or work it up, God sends it down, I can keep playing the same some over and over as long as it pleases him, and he sends down his presence, thats what matters, thats why it is important that his name is in the song or Holy, Holy, Holy, or come Holy Spirit, sweet Holy Spirit, or lefting up the name of Jesus, it matters who you praise, or worthy is the lamb, and his presence will come down, and the same Holy Spirit, that touches that 80 year old touches a 4 year old next to them, the Spirit has no generation gap, we made that up, to get in his presence it takes praise and worship to him, and if we lift up self and want self pleased, you might get a good feeling for a minute or two, but the presence of the Lord has not touched you, and his presence changes you, that’s why people are not being changed today it’s not his presence, in his presence chains start to fall off, you get strength to stop things, that have had you bound, people who really want his presence lift there hands and glorify him they don’t want there flesh pleased they want to please him, the true lover of there soul there is a hunger for him, that nothing can take the place of, for no one can give you that peace and pleasure you find in his presence, all hell may be sailing all around you, but the joy that will flood your soul, no one can imatate the true living Gods presence, and give the peace and joy you get there, the devil gives you pills or powder, or you have to shoot up, with God you just raise your hands open your mouth and praise his name until his glory comes down, when our heart is truly right with him, and the Holy Spirit is in control, no one will have to tell us to stand or do right it will be in us, through a lot of these trials, when in some much pain the devil will scream Why do you still love him, devil thats something you will never understand, because he first loved me, and he is Yahweh the lover of my soul, the church and this whole nation depend’s on us getting in the right place with the Lord and become sons[ men and women, a fighter a warrior in prayer he qualifies as sons, it’s how we pray that gives us and seek his face that gives us authority ] we will not settle for any thing less than the true living God Yahweh, for our Spirit draws us to him, thats why it says in 1 John 3:9 Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life[fn] is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. [ it brakes our heart to sin, if we really truly love him] you can’t sin and live with it conviction will be all over you, thats part of what the Holy Spirit does, because God dores not allow sin, only wayward people do, to many know a little about God today they don’t know God, it takes a relationship with him, and they ddon’t know the word, the’ve heard about him, and maybe even ask him in to there heart, but they don’t know him, they never read or get in his presence, or pray, and you must do these things in order to know God, they have even pushed his power and presence out of the church, the Holy Ghost and fire, to disarm her people so high on the totum poll of todays churh you wouldn’t believe, every week I see them on Christian TV shows, in the line ups of the churches famous people, and some one mentioned three names on fb last night, High profile people in the church the main ones being invited to there meeting and conf. and I new they crenched my spirit but apparently they crenched some one else’s too, there method don’t line up with word, the Lord wants his church back, he said there not ready, isn’t it about time we got ready, it’s about him not us, we have an awesome reward after this life, lets do what is important to get others to heaven, quit telling them they can sin all they want, and tell them Gods word don’t allow sin, does what we say line up with the word of God,[ and I am not talking about if he gave you certain instructions, God don’t tell us all to do the same thing or go to the same place every time, he can tell you something he dosen’t tell me] is what your preaching and doing glorifying God and teaching other’s the true way to many think if God didn’t tell them then your doing wrong, maybe it really wasn’t any of your business, g he can give different instructions on where to go and what to do, if there preaching truth nothing else matter’s, you see we don’t know it all we just think we do some times, God gives us different instruction depending on what he called us to do, so never judge on what you were not even there to hear, just do as the Lord tells you, some think we are not to get involved in politics and government or all these other issue’s, if we had gotten involved we would not have all these other unGodly issue in the first place, who ever said that needs a good swoft kick in the pants, we better get involved our country is going to Hell, people who really have the heart of God can’t sit by and let all this evil run rampant, why it’s against the nature of God, and if you are his, it should be against your nature too, for we have our father’s DNA, and he does not allow evil, evil exist because of disobedence and rebellion, and will soon be done away with, and should make you angry if it dosen’t you don’t have the DNA of our God the Father Yahweh for in him is no evil. and we should hunger for him. Be Blessed

Our Fathers DNA is FIRE a consuming FIRE and this Beloved ones is our INWARD DNA also having been made in Gods IMAGE not of flesh and blood but formed in the womb of ones own Soul by the Indwelling Life-Giving Spirit of a very Holy FIRE that will both Stand in that Day and burn with a FIRE that is both eternal and everlasting which will never be put our Amen

“SEPARATE TO ME!” This is the True Spiritual “FAST” unto and into our God so His Will alone be accomplished “DONE” in the earthen vessel as is ones own Soul as it is and “Must” be in Jesus as the Living Christ “WITHIN” us which is heaven. Think on these things Beloved and God will give “you” as in your very own Soul INSIGHT into what the Life-Giving Indwelling Spirit of Jesus id doing In His Body as is His own Soul as is the true Christ of the Life-Giving Spirit who is The Lord is my earnest prayer Amen

Yes, there is a small group of us in my town in Canada that are feeling this separation = almost an urgency to pray for our town as preparing the way for what the Holy Spirit is going to bring. We don’t want to miss out.

  6. Lindy

When we individually separate ourselves from evil and are purified by the Word of God, cleansed from all hidden sin, washed, clean, and mightily filled with the Presence of the Lord Jesus (the Holy Ghost) through much prayer and through fasting, then God will have a vessel suitable for His use.
There is power in purity and holiness: allowing the Lord to perfect holiness in us, in every area, and being filled with His Holy Ghost. It is not of us, but of Him.

Although we look for the Lord to use us, never forget: our usefulness is only proportionate to the amount of time we spend with Him and in His Presence, and in our abiding in Him,
“Abide in Me and I in you, for without me, you can do nothing,” Jesus said in John 15.
We must (Lord help me!) be so in love with HIM, that in “one” way, (please understand) we would never care if He used us or not!
When one is in His Presence all one wants is to be with Him!
When He is our FIRST Love our effectiveness will flow out of that.

An interesting thing regards Smith Wigglesworth, is that he would not allow a newspaper in his house: he regarded it as “worldly.” It wasn’t because of the fake news, it was the content, and it wasn’t necessarily bad; but he strove to maintain holiness (separation is the true meaning of holiness) before the Lord, and anything that did not positively edify himself, he discarded: he would not read anything other than the Bible (from as far as I am aware.)
I think that radical attitude played a big part in his effectiveness.
Is the world really a better place for some of the rubbish we read in the news or see on the TV if one still has a TV? I know we can pray into things, (though how much fervent prayer do you pray for some of the things you hear on the news? maybe one or two things..) but one needs to discover what the ONE thing is that God wants the individual to focus on and discard everything else and focus solely upon it.

    The word separate means holiness.
    The word holiness means separate.
There is power in true holiness.
Don’t hang with people who do not love the Lord and are not going after Him with all their heart and soul. Separate yourselves from such whether they are Christians or other. (II Cor 6:14-18.)
Do boldly and openly proclaim the Gospel to every unsaved person.

I am so ready to see this begin. This explains my restlessness and feeling of not belonging where I am. Thank you, Pastor Mario, once again, for bringing this faithful word.

Just as a matter of interest with regards to Smith Wigglesworth: I was in a church for about 3 and half years in Wollongong Australia, where there was an old man (Raymond Goodwin,) of about 84 (this was from 1995-1998/9.) He would occasionally get up and tell us with tears in his eyes of the marvelous miracles he saw when he was a boy of 10 in England, sitting in the front row to get a good view.
He heard Smith Wigglesworth preach and saw the miracles of healings performed through Smith; and Stephen Jeffries and other great healing evangelists of the time.
He said the one that stunned him the most was when a mother carried her badly deformed little 4 year old son to the platform and put him there in front of a row of evangelists and pastors who were seated on the platform. Raymond said the little boy was so deformed that his knees were behind his legs instead of at the front, his arms and his whole body was severely contorted: the worse crippe he’d ever seen.
Suddenly the Presence of God filled the room and especially the platform where the little boy was! He was so strong and awesome that all the great evangelists and pastors fled in fear out the back!
Then right before everyones’ eyes, they saw the legs which were so horribly twisted turned around to the right position and the knees in front, the twisted back and torso straightened, the twisted arms and neck all perfected – right before them! Each time a bone was moved. Raymond said he could hear a “crack!” sound.
Right before them all, the little boy was totally healed and stood before them all whole!
(It appears that God was making sure that all knew it was HE who does the healings. Not that the healing evangelists ever tried to steal His glory, but some in the congregation might have thought “Oh well, you have to be a big healing evangelist for someone to be healed!” which is not so, it is for all Believers.
Raymond used to tell us of the miracles with tears in his eyes. He would often scorn modern Christianity and call it, “New cart religion!” (A reference to the new cart which the Philistines made to replace the Ark of the Covenant.)
How I would loved to have been in the front row looking into the beloved face of Smith Wigglesworth!
Better still to be as mightily used by God as he. God bless him, he has gone to be with the Lord whom he loved so deeply, and wrote of so tenderly and affectionately, in his books.

Lindy is right when she wrote; “but some in the congregation might have thought “Oh well, you have to be a big healing evangelist for someone to be healed!” which is not so, it is for all Believers.”
      AMEN!
My Husband & I ministered in the John G Lakes Healing Prayer Rooms over 2002 & 2003, we not only saw miracles and healings but participated in them with accompanying visions while witnessing physical healing of feet, ankles, legs, eyes, hearts, brains and minds as we asked Christ with the prayer of Faith. Many were saved & delivered of addictions during those days due to the miracles that they saw & experienced among us. We never fasted, we considered our entire lives a “fast” a way of living for Christ. We just took God at His word, we weren’t famous, well known or on a platform, But God The Father Holy Spirit always came through, showed up & showed off His glory on those who came for healing or sin deliverance.

Mario’s words here are so right he wrote; “Millions of believers across America feel they are being separated to the Holy Spirit…The image is clear…the Holy Spirit is stirring souls across the nation. They are done with the overuse of big screens, skinny jeans, and fog machines.”
I’ve heard You Mario speak many times about “the Core” (likening them to the biblical remnant) of true Believers who only identify with and are defined by Christ The King HimSelf and have no other religious construct, affiliation, or connection. Is that the separation you wrote of here?
I did not know much about Smith Wigglesworth nor Mr Wilkerson, but what I do know is that this justified, reconciled, sanctified righteous Core of Christian Believers understand & consider all their personal works like rags before ‘The One’ with Whom they have to do. I am assured that these totally elect of God are clear eyed regarding The Grace of God given them through the Blood of Christ and His propitiation at the Cross. They know… that they know, it is all a GIFT of God given them least anyone would have the temerity to boast in front of The Only Holy Lord God Almighty – in this way they are yielded in humbleness so that possibly God will have “some” use for them.
HIS GIFT just keeps on giving.✞

I remember after I first got saved, I believed all the saints were out preaching the Gospel and laying hands on the sick, as I was doing.
God did some “notable miracles” of healings through me and I never mentioned them to anyone, as I assumed it was what they were ALL out doing.
I was deeply disappointed to find that most if not all were doing very little indeed.
I preached a message on it in our church on Youth Night (where once a month, one of the youth would preach.) I never shared my own testimonies of how the Lord used me, I simply preached the Word with the anointing and enthusiasm He imparted.
At the end of it, all the “pillars” of the church cried out in protest against it (they were convicted that they never did it!) and shouted, “It’s more important to get a soul saved than to heal a body!” Yet none of them had brought one soul to Christ in al the years I was there, I was the only one who brought souls in who got saved.
I was so discouraged and confused. I felt like I had been whipped.
But over the years God has used me in soul saving and healings both in a church I started and pastored and in other situations; and I will not say any more, because I desire to be used of Him again after I move address. (God knows I have shared too much on occasion in the past.)
I am well aware that people can disqualify themselves from being used greatly by God, by sharing how God has “used them” and then telling their friends and others about it, and quickly adding of course, “Oh I give God all the glory!” But what they are really thinking is, “But I don’t mind if a bit of it splashes my way!”
I know there is a time and a place to encourage a person by sharing a healing testimony, particularly if that person is in need of a healing and is ignorant of God healing us today.
We’ve got to get beyond “who” God used for the healing to the needs around us for healings.
I want to be so “dead” to self, that God can use me.
I was nothing when He found me (less than nothing, truth be told, a hurting, broken, sick mess) and I am still nothing without Him.

I am glad to hear of Carolina and her husband being used in healings, I hope God will use you some more. I know the Lord can do it without us: I have heard a testimony of Jesus appearing in a vision to a dying man in Africa and telling him he had come to heal him. The man had not heard of Jesus, he got healed and saved. All without human intervention.
We are blessed to be used. God is a friendly God, He loves partnership, He loves having someone interested in and with the same heart He has, for the lost and for healings.
It is HE who imparts His heart into us (as you all know) by His Holy Spirit; and doing what HE did “in the days of His flesh” brings us closer into fellowship with Him.
He wants a Bride who CARES! He doesn’t want a selfish, spoiled Bride who lies on a couch all day eating chocolates and listening to music or messages.
He wants her to care so deeply and to allow HIS deep concern to so fill her heart, that she would be willing to die for any one of the lost He brings across her path.
A Bride who is out and about reaching out to the lost and laying hands on the sick etc.
He doesn’t want a “Vashti” He wants an Esther – one who will lay her life on the line to save the lost. God bless you all.

        • Carolina

          Gotcha Lindy,
Right now I feel I’m being used of God once again for the strenuous care giving of my Stroke victimized brother who’s 60 (several years younger than me) and my Mother who’s 86 & going blind. I’ve watched miracles God has done for my brother since his initial Stroke 3 months ago, when Doctors held little hope for him to ever walk again. And he is able to walk now with the aid of a walker for short distances, but his arm is withering, However my hope is that COMPLETE healing will occur for my younger brother as to my Mother well I figure she’s getting ready to meet Jesus one day sooner rather than later.

          • Lindy

So he is living with you and your husband? Glad to hear he is improving, he still has some useful years ahead of him. I think your mother would enjoy her sight on the way Home! Just anoint her eyes with oil in Jesus Name, one quick prayer.
            God bless.

          • Carolina

No Lindy, he doesn’t live with us he now lives at Mothers home. She has Senior quarters (wheelchair accessibility, elevators, security, things like that) where she lives. I travel to them both there 4 times a week to care give and support them.
This has been one of the most heartbreaking events I’ve ever seen, to have to stand by & watch my once thriving, successful, involved, active, lifetime long body builder brother, be left by his wife & then become an invalid in a matter of mere minutes just 90 days ago.
It’s truly amazing how fast EVERYTHING can be taken from you & how drastically one’s life can change in this continuously fallen world. Oh yes and my Brother was & is a Believer who loves Christ The Lord.
The ultimate fact & realization is…Paradise is NOT here…Heaven will NEVER be here…instead we are to stay alert, wait & pray to be taken to the place where Jesus is! So much for Joel Osteen’s best seller idea, “Your Best Life Now”????

        • mackeysback

          Amen to Ester. He doesn’t need a Jezebel type of spirit who is so prevalent in the so-called body of Christ today as Jesus mentions in the Revelation of Himself with all her teachings in His name. God Forbid! On Fasting I copy here Isaiah from Gods perspective Not mans point of view with added emphasis;

Isaiah 58 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition 58

Cry aloud, spare not. Lift up your voice like a trumpet and declare to My people their transgression (deceptions) and to the house of Jacob (today’s Israel of God as Paul spoke of to the Galatians)) their (error) sins!

2 Yet they seek, inquire for, and require Me daily and delight [externally] to know My ways, as [if they were in reality] a nation that did righteousness and forsook not the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me righteous judgments, they delight to draw near to God [in visible external ways].

3 Why have we fasted, they say, and You do not see it? Why have we afflicted ourselves, and You take no knowledge [of it]??? Behold [O Israel], on the day of your fast [when you should be grieving Inwardly for your sins], you find profit in your business, and [instead of stopping all carnal fleshly work, as the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus implies you and your workmen should do] you extort from your hired servants a full amount of labor.

4 [The facts are that] you fast only for strife and debate and to smite with the fist of wickedness. Fasting (outwardly) as you do today will not cause your voice to be heard on high.

5 Is such a fast as yours what I have chosen, a day for a man to humble himself with sorrow in his soul? [Is true fasting merely mechanical?] Is it only to bow down his head like a bulrush and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him [to indicate a condition of heart that he does not have]? Will you call this a fast and an acceptable day to the Lord? “I DON’T THINK SO!!

6 [Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the SPIRITUALLY oppressed INWARDLY go free, and that you break every [enslaving] RELIGIOUS yoke?

7 Is it not to divide your Spiritual Living bread “Christ” with the hungry (those who hunger for the truth) and bring the homeless poor souls into your house where Christ Inwardly is Lord?? —when you see the naked, as those with out the Inward Oil of His true Anointing that you cover him, clothing him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?

8 Then shall your “LIGHT” break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new INTERNAL spiritual life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness borne along in Him (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace as in His Peace and prosperity delivering ones very own soul to life], and the Glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst RELIGIOUS yokes of oppression [wherever you find them], the finger pointed in “SCORN” as the religious right did with Jesus [toward the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, counterfeit, harsh, unjust, and wicked instead of Christ speaking,

10 And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted souls in this world , then shall your “LIGHT” rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday.

11 And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. Yes these are those Inward eternal Livings Waters Jesus spoke of at the natural religious well where religion meets to drink in a water that can NEVER satisfy as Jesus said Amen?

12 And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of [buildings that have laid waste for] many generations; and you shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

13 If you turn away your foot from [traveling unduly on] the eternal everlasting all encompassing Sabbath, from doing your own pleasure on My eternal holy day, and call the Sabbath a [spiritual] delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable, and honor Him and it, not going your own way or seeking or finding your own pleasure or speaking with your own [idle] words, Oh the Cross and the Power of it to conquer and Overcome this world as death is DESTROYED through the Mystery of death itself as His remnant lay down their own souls life “NOT” LOVING it so as to be joined to another Amen? Yes Amen!

14 Then will you delight yourself in the Lord, and I will make you to ride on the High places of the earth, and I will feed you with the heritage [promised for you] of Jacob your father; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it. May God the only true and Living God breath His Spirit as Spiritual Life alone into those souls who Hear and are appointed for Life as trumpeted by Jesus in the Unveiling of Himself in His Body today. May this be our Lot and may we be Faithful to His calling us OUT OF THE World into Himself to that End Goal which is as the Blessed John said was the deliverance called the very Salvation of our very own Souls Amen

Love this reply as copied: We never fasted, we considered our entire lives a “fast” a way of living for Christ. The true Set apart ones Amen.

Hi Carolina. It’s hard to find a “Reply” button on these posts.
I just read your reply about your brother and mother.
It is good your mother is well looked after.
The shock of his wife leaving must have brought on the stroke!
        Poor man!
But think on the bright side sister – he has YOU! He is healing well and will be healed I believe,
partly because your love for him is giving him that reason to go on living.
He will have even more a reason to live when he begins to take on the responsibility (again) of reaching out to the lost.
I had everything taken off me.
I want you to share my testimony with your brother if you would sister?
        Here goes:

After I became a Christian my parents attacked me relentlessly (especially my mother, who had gotten involved in the occult etc.)
I never bothered them with the Gospel, I wasn’t a nuisance to them I mean.
But they were afraid I would affect others in the family and their friends, (as I used to go all over town sharing with just about anyone I could find.)
So they told me I was not part of the family and to get out and go overseas (to Australia.)
I had already been sent away from my country by them when much younger, as I refused an abortion (I had a son out of wedlock – it was a new thing for me but they thought I must have been “whoring.” I hadn’t, i had simply agreed to a proposition by a young man at my work because I was suffering suicidal depression round that time and hoped that sex (which everyone said was “good”) would lift my spirits. It didn’t it was brief, nasty and cheapening. I only felt guilty and unclean.) So my father beat me up when he found out and they tried ot force me to abort – I couldn’t, I just couldn’t! I secretly longed for the child! So I was thrown out and the baby forcibly taken off me and told to get my name changed get the h— out of our family and go overseas.)
I won’t go on anymore, I probably shared too much (but “best life?” no! even as you say! Well, not for a poor, lost soul which I was anyway!)
I got gloriously saved and after a couple of years returned ot NZ and then I am sent back on a plane by my parents again (after continual harassment and physical threats of violence – my dad kicked in my door to beat me up once but a neighbour rolled up in time, so he just stalked off.)
On a plane back to Oz.
Was manipulated by the pastor into marrying a man I had no feelings for, but I did my best to please him. (The pastor: “Who do you think you are, not wanting to marry Clive?!” He said other words to make me know I would not be welcome in his church if I didn’t marry him. I was suffering deeply from the situation with my parents already and was scared to lose the only contacts I had. I eventually agreed and decided to love him and do him good.
I was beaten up fairly frequently, punched to the ground, kicked around etc, for silly things like not putting the scraps out in time (I had known it was getting full but was waiting for the potato peelings to go in before throwing it out,) and for coming into the room when he was changing a shirt (not his jocks – a shirt!) And so on.
I never told anyone. I thought it would be un-Christlike to tell anyone. (I would never put up with any of that now of course, but I had been bullied all my life by my dad and thought I must deserve it. I was young and intimidated.) I wasn’t allowed to pray in the house, if he thought I was praying he would make rude noises around me, etc.
I found myself in a country I did not want to be in, minus family, friends and church (I wasn’t welcome back, the pastor was furious with me.)
I wandered aimlessly for a long time and eventually wandered into a little AOG church where very quickly (after getting to know me, though I shared nothing of the trauma etc.) the pastor had me on his ministerial team, as one of 6 pastors, preaching and teaching, counselling, open air work with him etc. I did this and other things for 3 and half years then left to start a church in a town where the Lord sent me alone. It was one of the worse towns in Oz!
        I had not known!
I had lots of death threats, shots fired at my rented house, the house was pipe bombed 5 times (twice while I was inside – it didn’t blow up it just filled with an eerie orange smoke after a terrific explosion – you think in that moment that you are dead.) I was prophesied over by five pastors in a big church where I’d gone to “get a word from the Lord,” as I wasn’t “hearing.” I only wanted to know if there were hope for my salvation. I was so beaten down I thought I was going to hell.
They did not know me and called me out of the congregation and prophesied over me one by one.
They told me how Jesus had been bringing people to my door to ask about Him.
True: teenagers. Usually: “Are you the lady that knows about God?”
“Come on in!” I would kneel with them on the floor after a few minutes talking about Jesus and He would pour Himself over them! Anyway I came back on the train to my place with hope in my heart. And the strongest anointing I have ever felt in my life on me.
I began fasting and praying as the head pastor had told me to and after several months I was ready. Well, “Prepare yourself.” was the admonition.
The Lord brought the criminals, 3 ex-murderers, 2 witches, alcoholics (young alcoholics too, sadly,) drug addicts etc to the meetings!! It was amazing. The came herard the Gospel repented got baptized and received the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues. The Lord got them off drugs etc.
The toughest thing was having no one to talk to and no one to pray with.
I tried to get the other churches to help but none would.
But I eventually left after only about 2 or 3 years (health) and put it into the hands of a church about 150 miles away. Then I came back to NZ
Now I live alone and still have no family.
My son hates me and wants nothing to do with me.
I have no reason to live whatever in the natural: the only thing that keeps me going is that Jesus asked me to reach out to the lost and I don’t want to disappoint Him (as I have so often -as we all have at times, missing divine appointments here and there!)
The other thing is, I do not want anyone to go to hell’

I shared all this to say, that when everything is taken off you, you only have Jesus (so thankful!! rather He than all the world!) and a commission.
        Jesus and Go ye!
I get lonely (no church at present) stuck out in the countryside, (till I can move – it’s coming) and the only “fellowship” being that of the internet. (Now aint that sad – the internet!! lol!)
And I feel the Lord leading me to get rid of that. Matter of days I think.

        FOR YOUR BROTHER ALSO:
He will recover with Jesus help, but please share my testimony with Him sister, and tell him there is nothing worth doing more than sharing the Gospel with the lost.
That he can use the emptiness he feels to draw nearer to Christ and to fellowship with Him more and to reach lost souls. Tell him I said, one day soon, he will look into Jesus face and be glad that he chose to live for Him alone and for others.
I went through a long period of time where I begged the Lord to let me die, every day.
(I cannot tell you what He said to me one day in response, as it hurts me to think I had hurt Him so much! I had thought I was the only one hurting – but He understood and He had plans to use me.)
So I tried to think of a purpose for life: every time I passed someone on the street crippled or sad, I
would say in my heart, “THAT’S why I want to live!”
I can live for others! I have no one to love me and I have lost all desire to live, but if I can get someone saved, and/or healed, delivered, I will feel satisfied.
Your brother can do the same sister.
Except he will have a church and a loving sister to help him.
        Bless you Carolina.

No need to reply to any of my posts Carolina, I will be stopping all notifications, I find I am spending far too much time on reading posts and replying! :-/
I feel like I have become one of those referred to in Acts, where “all the people were gathered together in the marketplace either to tell of some new thing or to hear it!”
A little of it is ok but it becomes a habit, for me anyway.
So aurevoir and all the best to you and your little family! 🙂

      • Lindy

Hi, This is the only reply button I can find for you on the posts!
Yes I am clicking that little button today that will stop me getting any notifications or posts from Murillo Ministries. I hear what you are saying, except it isn’t “all good” sister. One cannot say one is “fasting” just because they are pressing in to God and dedicating their life to Him.
Paul the Apostle truly lived a life of dedication to Christ and to His service yet he “fasted often.”
People spiritualise what they do not want to do.
        Fasting means what it says.

I am by no means coming at you, because I understand fully that as one gets older (and you are well over your 60 y.o. brothers age you said) it gets much harder to fast. And you already go without food during the day anyway – what you do is between you and the Lord.
I think (from my view you are doing fine – but only the Lord knows. It is HIM with “whom we have to do,” isn’t it.)
I am only concerned for myself in this matter sister.
I am a annoyed at myself for sharing my past things: I truly felt after hearing you say that your brother “Lost everything,” that I should share my backdrop and get you to pass it along to him.
I was a bit hurt (asides from annoyed at myself for being vulnerable and sharing) that you offered not one word of encouragement to me regards the situation, but were only interested in defending your view on fasting. Not one.
The things I shared were very sensitive. I wish with all my heart I had not shared them (except perhaps you may yet share them to your brother.) But I could not find anywhere on WordPress to delete a comment or even to edit.
        But its my own fault.

God bless you Carolina..nice to have met you.

        • Carolina

“The best part is Lindy, is that you are not alone…there’s all of us…no matter how far away you live…no matter how lonely you may get…you’re a part of the BIGGEST family that has ever really lived – Corpus Christi.”

Lindy, I felt that-that part I wrote above to you personally said everything that needed to be said?…what I actually did write about my precious Brother’s suffering and his current plight was…
“It’s truly amazing how fast EVERYTHING can be taken from you & how drastically one’s life can change in this continuously fallen world.”
I did not write he ‘lost everything’ for he still has The Lord.
The other part of my post(s) to you were equally as clear.

          • Lindy

Hello sister Carolina. I feel silly coming back when I had finished up with the blogs and comments. But I felt I was supposed to go back and see a comment that I somehow needed to respond to.
I am so glad I did. I am afraid I had paid so little attention at the time sis that I never really noticed fully what you had typed, and now I have re-read it, I do apologise to you sincerely.
I am sorry for what I said..those words you say mean much to me.
I love you and all the people on this site.., you all have become almost a part of me.
I will remember you all with affection.
I said to the Lord after I quit – about an hour later, “I miss them all already!” Lol!
But I wish you all well. I hate saying good bye to brother Murillo, when I first discovered his posts, it was like a long, cold drink of refreshing water! He says everything I have been thinking, feeling and sometimes saying about the church and the world. Except he says it with such aplomb! with such a hilarious way of saying what is absolutely the truth!
God bless you all. I have to sign out now.

It also reminds me of the miraculous healing and ministry of Betty Baxter. She spoke at our church in the very early days of my walk with the Lord, and I have never forgotten the anointing and the profound impact her testimony had and still has on my life. That same year, I attended my first revival, that lasted for weeks, with evangelist Mario Murillo. That too, has left me forever changed. I’m thankful that nearly forty years have passed and the fire of the same Holy Spirit is once again stoking the flames of my life and I’m brimming with anticipation of the new thing God is doing.

      • Lindy

I live in New Zealand and long before I got on the net (2010/11) I had a very much used Betty Baxter Testimony cassette tape! It moved me so much that such a little girl went through so much pain that she would often pass out. I was thrilled with her healing testimony: she, her mother and younger brother (don’t know if there were others) all saw Jesus walk into the room and heal her.

Thank you so much for sharing this such a blessing and encouragement.

I can’t see a reply button for Mackeysback: but brother you feel that fasting is unnecessary, that our whole life can be considered a fast? But the truth is, Jesus whole life could be considered a fast yet He fasted forty days and nights, and the Apostle Pauls’ whole life could be considered a fast, yet he said he was “in fastings often.” He also tells us “be as I am in following Christ.”
If these two found it necessary to fast, so should we.
Not to mention others in the Bible: Daniel and so on.
Theres no getting around it: our flesh hates it, but it is Scriptural and it gives God more opportunity to work in us that which HE desires.
It is a blessing. It is the difference between scraping old wall paper off a wall with a knife and slapping wall paper remover over it and letting it just roll off! It moves things along.
    Be blessed.

    • mackeysback

Lindy. What is the true fast that God Himself requires of us His body? is it to separate ourselves from food and drink all being only carnal representations of the true Spiritual fast? Isaiah trumpets to us regarding the true Inward Spiritual fast of our God and what He requires. All that was done outwardly in the flesh was but a mere type and shadow of the reality or the “Substance” which is All Spirit In Christ crucified in the flesh and blood of the 1st Man and Quickened in the Last Adam in by and through the Spirit which is God alone.

      • Carolina

        Back at ya Mackeysback,
I like the way the New Living Translation puts it: (Isaiah 58:3-7)

We have fasted before you!’ they say. ‘Why aren’t you impressed? We have done much penance, and you don’t even notice it!'”I will tell you why! It’s because you are living for yourselves even while you are fasting. You keep right on oppressing your workers. 4 What good is fasting when you keep on fighting and quarreling? This kind of fasting will never get you anywhere with me. 5 You humble yourselves by going through the motions of penance, bowing your heads like a blade of grass in the wind. You dress in sackcloth and cover yourselves with ashes. Is this what you call fasting? Do you really think this will please the LORD? 6 “No, the kind of fasting I want calls you to free those who are wrongly imprisoned and to stop oppressing those who work for you. Treat them fairly and give them what they earn. 7 I want you to share your food with the hungry and to welcome poor wanderers into your homes. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.

WOW, that makes it pretty clear doesn’t it?

        • mackeysback

Yes it does and shows us that a true fast is when God has us set apart to do His Will 24/7 in Christ crucified in the flesh of the feel good Christianity and made ALIVE In the Spirit WITHIN us as in our very own Souls to do His Will. This is why Jesus did His works on the sabbath. As that sabbath is eternal and everlasting and only the Sons of God know this truth that with God One Day and every other day ought to be His sabbath REST for His People are to enter Amen

      • Lindy

        >>” All that was done outwardly in the flesh was but a mere type and shadow of the reality or the “Substance” ..”<<
No – fasting food and drink is a spiritual exercise carried out by willfully abstaining from these things. The disciples all fasted and prayed to discern whom the Lord would have use with them Acts 13:2. Paul the greatest apostle and evangelist outside of Christ, said he was "in fastings often." Jesus (who is our example I John says) went without food for 40 days and nights. There may be other NT examples of which I am at the moment unaware: but you have your "two or three witnesses." If these great people (Jesus being God in flesh makes Him pretty great I would have thought! 🙂 needed to fast – how much more do we?!
Until you actually do and quit trying to spiritualise it away brother, you will never know the benefits. I am happy for you to make your own decision.
I am done with the topic. May the Lord bless you and help you in all ways.

        • mackeysback

Sister I absolutely do “KNOW” by experience what physical fasting is as I once also fasted much and often for many a day “NOT” allowing myself to partake of the natural in thinking the Spiritual would manifest. Yes “BODILY” exercise profiteth little yet Godliness (internal eternal separation as is the true fast) is eternally profitable not only in this (souls) life but the souls life that’s in manifestation to Come. When a genuine fast is come and continually manifests in ones own Soul as in Jesus then we will See the communication with our Father is being manifested on earth in much Power to set those in deep bondage’s Free

          • Lindy

Hi. I am finished with these posts, I said goodbye to three others brother, (Carolina, Bobbie, Desertstream) but forgot to say goodbye to you..I don’t know how I got your message I am discontinuing notifications. No offense to anyone, but these things can go on forever and I have work to do. I think we all become too addicted to talk and not enough of action on these sites.
            Just my opinion though.
You truly complicate things Mackey if I may say, it is simple: Jesus says to fast, Paul says to fast.
You say that you got no spiritual benefits out of fasting (perhaps your motive was wrong?)
You are the only person I have heard of (out of literally hundreds, brother) who say they achieved little or nothing (whichever you inferred) from fasting. (Now I can’t find your post that I am replying to as my mouse is acting up (has been for a while..time to throw out the net – or – get a new mouse!)

Anyway, you have distorted the matter of fasting brother. You have spiritualised it away.
Jesus did it. he is our example (I John)
Paul says he is “in fastings often’ (somewhere! NT.)
Hey, if those two did it, I will do it.
You are turning people away from what God wants with high-sounding words which in effect boil down to: “It didn’t work for me, so now I just think of it in spiritual terms.”

Please don’t bother replying again. I have a hard enough time getting the flesh to obey God without you encouraging me to not fast.
I am feeling a bit annoyed, yes, (in case you wondered brother) because it is upsetting to me.
I am trying to muster up for a fast and you are trying to stop me. I will do it anyway though.
I will not be listening to anymore excuses for this disobedience.
You can do as you please (as I said before) – just don’t ask me to join you.

I will quit with Mario Murillo blogs altogether now, I just decided, so I cannot be hassled.
I know you are a good person Mackey and I love you in Jesus (I mean that – I am a straightforward woman of God and I only say what I mean.) May the Lord continue to bless you.
You have a good heart and God wants to use us all.

  11. Desertstream

What are the proven benefits of Christian fasting?

    • Carolina

Desertstream, Jesus told them, ” “But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. (Matt 6:18)
It appears to me like the benefits of Christian fasting are the same as the benefits of Christian prayer. Getting intimate with The Lord God of our soul in the secret place and NOT in an outward expression of something done overtly particularly NOT to garner attention.
For me to not eat is a common thing, I usually don’t eat food all day.
Might it be more that fasting is to be done regarding something that one doesn’t go without usually or easily? Gee that could apply to many, many things and issues in one’s life. Yet I do not believe fasting or prayer is a formulaic Christian matter.

      • Desertstream

If the benefits of fasting are the same as those of praying, then why fast at all, sweet Carolina? List me some benefits.

        • Carolina

Desertstream, At the end of my blog response I wrote this and it still holds true …”I do not believe fasting or prayer is a formulaic Christian matter.”
As far as lists go I will leave that to the people who write & sell books about it.
For me and my house this one benefit of a fast is enough that The Lord revealed,…”your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.”
The maximum benefit of intimacy with the heavenly Father is all anyone should need or want everything else flows from that premise.

        • Carolina

          AMEN back at ya mackeysback!
As Paul wisely said…”For the love of Christ compels us.”

          • Mark James

Yes it absolutely does and it “MUST” be so Amen

    • Lindy

The most important thing is that Jesus said that when He was gone, “then will they fast in those days.” He automatically assumed fasting.
The Pharisees had criticised His disciples to Him because they did not fast, whereas they fasted twice in the week. He said, “Can the children of the Bridechamber fast while the Bridegroom is with them?! But the days will come when he is taken away, then will they fast in those days.”
Fasting was a part of Jewish life in the OT whether National days of fasting or individual.
Fasting is a part of Christian life in the NT, for instance we see the disciples all fasted and prayed to determine whom the lord would have in the ministry.
{aul said, “Be ye followers of me, as I am of Christ.”
He said he was in “fastings often.”
So the point should not be, “What are the benefits?” but should we do it. The answer is Yes.

But it is also a good question. Physical benefits: it gives your body a rest, the organs of your body rarely have a good rest or a good cleansing until one fasts. Water only is best on a fast, for the physical benefits.
However, I have found with juice and water and some raisins (I literally faint if I do water only these days,) one receives wonderful answers from the Lord.
(I have never fasted to my own satisfaction, I have always come short of what I know the Lord wanted. I love the results, so I will be looking to it again shortly.)
The “apostle of fasting” (so I heard,) is Jentezen Franklin; he is on You Tube. If you type his name and the word fasting into the URL on You Tube, you will hear in detail the benefits.

The first 3 days are tough because habit-hunger is still there and also fasting releases toxins into the blood-stream that make one tired. But the fast will dig out the poisons in your body and release them into the bloodstream, and dispose of them from your body.
      It is a blood-cleanser!
In the old days, a doctor would put a person with diabetes, cancer or any other disease on a water only fast. I know of a man who was cured of cancer after a 10 day fast.
I used to have book by Franklin Hall on fasting (it is somewhere in my belongings,) and it was filled with testimonies of results both physically and spiritually.

      • Desertstream

Well, Lindy, I appreciate you answering my question about what happens to us when we fast unto the Lord. I have many of Franklin Hall’s books which were read by some men of God who were greatly used of God. Fasting and Prayer together bring great results. Mario is a man of fasting. We would do well to get back into to practice of it.

        • Lindy

That’s great. No brother, we would do EXTRAORDINARILY well! 😉
I was thinking about brother Murillo today and wondering if he fasted..I decided he surely must, or he would not be the preacher and healer etc that he is today.
I am very slim and don’t eat much, but I am like a dog having a bone ripped out of its jaws when its time to fast! Ggrr! 😀
I am so pleased you have Franklin Halls books, they are powerful.
God bless you. Time to part ways with the “gang” on Murillos comments page (sadly) as I find I am wasting far too much time, like those Greeks in the Market Place who were “gathered together all the time to do nothing other than to hear of or tell of some new thing!” (in Acts.)

          • Mark James

Sister Man is NOT to trust in his own heart as I copy that : The heart is deceitful above all (every) things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]? I the Lord search the mind, I try the heart, even to give to every man according to his own ways, according to the fruit of his doings be they good as in Gods Good alone or from that which appears as good to ones own heart or nature and yet is coming from that same evil knowledge that embraces it’s own good. Paul writes to those who are experiencing His Presence as He comes continually within them to NOT forsake our comings to gather together especially as you/we individually and corporately can See that Glorious eternal everlasting sabbath DAY of our Great God approaching WITHIN where Christ is and is Coming….Think on these things that I say and if your hearts open to Him then He alone will speak a witness of truth if what I say is truth Amen and Maranatha

            Jeremiah 17:9-10 AMPC

        • Mark James

The weapons of our warfare are “NOT” carnal! But mighty through God to the pulling down of so very many mind controlling strongholds!

These frustrated saints are being pulled away from (the true FAST) fleshly things, even as a spirit of prayer is OVERTAKING them. They are surrendering to a special work “POWER” of the Holy Spirit. A fresh work of the Holy Spirit has begun, and the impact will soon be widespread in all the earth! These kind only come OUT with Prayer and Fasting????? May God OPEN your inward eternal Eye to both See and receive only what His glorious Overcoming conquering Spirit is revealing in your soul as it is His body called the Church or bride or mind of our Jesus as is the Christ Amen

TO MACKEYSBACK: I was wondering when someone mmight quote these verses, I have heard two schools of thought on the passage>>”3 Why have we fasted, they say, and You do not see it?

—when you see the naked, as those with out the Inward Oil of His true Anointing that you cover him, clothing him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?<<"

Going without food and fasting unto the Lord, enables one to do all those things.
Yes, we are to clothe the naked and feed the hungry etc., but there is also a spiritual application here, we lead them to Christ who clothes them with His righteousness and feeds them the Bread of Life; the Living Manna. Even verse 7 in the translation you quoted says as much.
There is nothing within that passage where the Lord is saying to quit fasting or where He is replacing it with giving physical food and clothing etc.
All the things listed in this passage are far more easily enabled after a fast. How do you "break every yoke?" Fast and find out. The Lord was not saying to not fast in this passage, but rather WHAT TO FAST FOR! (And of course what to NOT fast for.)
Prayer and fasting are dynamite when together

The truth is, our flesh hates it and we will look for any way (Scripture) to NOT do it.
I am not saying you deliberately set out to find an excuse not to fast, just saying, our flesh hates it.
But once you embark on fasting you will be grateful for the results it brings.
As I said in response to desertstream, the physical and spiritual benefits are many; I also recommended he type into the URL of You Tube, Jentezen Franklin – Fasting.
He is considered an "apostle of fasting."
It depends whether you want what God is offering badly enough.
It is a blessing He has designed and one which Paul, the other apostles and Jesus did.
All the great healing evangelsits went on an extended water only fast usually of 3 weeks (as with Oral Roberts, and others whose names I've forgotten.) They all reported great empowerment from the Spirit of God came upon them directly after their fast.
Warning: we can set out to fast to be greatly used in healings or for deliverance from a situation etc., and God will speak to us about some problem we have or an attitude in us He wants rid of and will use the fast for that instead! But it is wonderful that He does this.

For a wonderful blessing you can buy for about 35 dollars a volume called “Smith Wigglesworth ” the complete collection of his life teaching. Covers the years 1914-1940’s. No church that I have attended in 48 years preaches what this man preached.

Lindy, don’t go away. You have been a help and a blessing to many. We do read your comments on Mario’s blog and they are always edifying. What would be great is if we at this blog could all see one another in person and sit down for a wonderful time together. It can be difficult typing on a keyboard to an invisible someone who often times we may disagree with, but always end up working it all out and saying amen. We are at different levels of understanding but never take our brother or sisters viewpoint lightly. We are the family of God, scattered all over the world who meet together here with Mario to discuss the issues he brings to us from the Holy Spirit. We love you.

Yes Amen desertstream where the eternal Living WATERS are flowing. I am in total agreement as we are and can only be ONE body in Jesus and many souls are in different stages yes stages of Inward development as Christ continues to Manifest His Presence of Glory WITHIN each vessel. And yes I do know how that Liar can make us uncomfortable when we hear deeper truths as Revealed through His many membered body. However, If and I say IF we/you have the Indwelling Christ who is Jesus at work within your soul as in ours then you will feed upon these eternal words of Life as is the Hidden Manna of His flesh and blood that we feed upon 24/7 because He is the All and All Amen

      • Desertstream

Thank you Brother Mark. Exactly right.

To Desertstream, Lindy, Mackeysback and all MMM Bloggers, can you believe how long the thread of this Post of Mario’s Blog has gotten?! What would happen if it got even longer and more illuminating among us?
As I like to say, “never give up and never give in, never forget we always win!”

    • Lindy

Well, I love you guys too desertstream. But I truly feel the Lord nudging me to quit chatting all the time and get to work for Him. We can all meet in Heaven! God will give us a place to all sit down over coffee (or whatever 😉 maybe fruit juice?) up there and we can meet each other face to face.
I live too far away, I am in the “uttermost end of the earth!” (I don’t know if that is in the Bible as a distinction – or!)
Please pray for me. I live alone and am preparing to move.
I want to move where the Lord would have me go and connect with the people whom He wants me to. I want to share with the lost and cast out demons and heal the sick.
That’s all God has told me to do.
I do not want to sit around with luke-warm Christians who are addicted to talk in the next church, I want to find (even just one would be good) person: either gender, any age, any race, who is on fire for God, and dedicated to prayer and evangelism.
I will be in Heaven if I find such a one.
I tried so hard to find just ONE person who would pray with me and evangelise with me..maybe I missed that person, I dunno..but zero.
I need that encouragement. I have been “encouraging myself in the Lord” many years, and I am not very good at it at times..that is I need someone to work with me and for occasional companionship.

I loved meeting you all and listening to your comments and it truly is good to know you all.
My prayer and blessings to you and all of you.

      • Desertstream

The Lord said He will help you and give you the desires of your heart because you have sought Him and separated yourself to Him.

      • Mark James

My strong suggestion is you stay put and give yourself over to complete Silence and just listen for His voice as we All “Must” Wait on our Lord and for Him to make His presence known in our midst when we gather. God Bless you richly dear One In your Inner eternal Man where Christ our Lord will absolutely appear unto and for all those who are looking for Him this “Second” Time with No more reference of our erring in sin but to manifest a complete Salvation of body-Soul and Spirit Amen

It is obvious that there is a correlation between Mario’s message of Separate To Me and fasting unto God. There is no better way of keeping our separation, sanctification, dedication, consecration than practicing the discipline of fasting. All greatly used men and women of God lived a fasted life. It was their means of maintaining that close walk with the Master and keeping that keen edge of their spirituality sharp and focused. They avoided any worldly activity, kept their minds on God’s Word, and guarded their Anointing. They knew their God was jealous over them and required their utmost attention and devotion. Fasting was a means of holding the flesh in check, intensifying their prayers, opening up revelations in the Scripture, knowing God with greater intimacy, multiplying the unction to preach, rising up with greater boldness and abandon, and creating within a fire of Love and compassion for the church and lost souls. I hear “Come out from among them and be you separate saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. I see God is calling a fast. And if we haven’t, it is time to give fasting its proper place in our lives once again.

    • Mark James

Yes Amen it is as you say the “Separated” Life as Come out from yourself and be made separate unto and into me who is your/our Life. Well said dear brother Amen

Hi Surfcourier. I am scrolling down the comments just before signing out of M. Murillos blogs (so I do not receive notifications.) and then I see your post!
      It is so refreshing!
It came at the right moment for me, as it seems most on this site have spiritualised away fasting through a distortion (or misunderstanding rather,) of Isaiah 58!
(That chapter is simply saying what NOT to fast for and what TO fast for.)
One brother even said he fasted often for years and got no spiritual benefits whatever so now he just prays without any fasting.
So I was beginning to doubt the efficacy of fasting, yes, despite having received marvellous benefits myself to some degree (which you named.) But I am prone to self-doubt. :-/
I am so thankful to you, for affirming to me that which I already knew.
Thanks for your clear, clarion call to fast.
      God bless you.

      • Surfcourier

Thank you! I know the Lord is leading you right now.

Lindy, Hope I catch you before you leave the site…dear one, I don’t think anybody on this thread blog is trying to stop anyone else from fasting. That isn’t what I’m reading from others here. Please don’t misunderstand, what I’m seeing here is that “some” are looking into the matter of fasting with a deeper view and in a further aspect of fasting while others are investing themselves into fasting as a work of obedience.
Yet Lindy, its all good, take a look at it… because we’re communicating our beliefs, understandings and thoughts about fasting and prayer and glory and love and witnessing and preaching and teaching and spreading the gospel of Christ, dear one it just doesn’t get any better than that!?
This “is” the living water springing up within for eternal life (John 4:14) our very discussions among each other!? So what if it comes through this vehicle of internet and blogging?? God is never limited by any device, in His divine economy HE uses “it all” while using “us all” simultaneously. No worries.?
The best part is Lindy, that you are not alone…there’s all of us…no matter how far away you live…no matter how lonely you may get…you’re a part of the BIGGEST family that has ever really lived – Corpus Christi.

  18. Mark James

Some of the mysteries of God’s Kingdom being declared.

The Lord God of the whole earth, who lives forever, even the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, whose throne is established in righteousness, and who rides on the heavens and shines forth in His eternal excellence from the firmament of His power, is manifesting Himself as in the days of old. He is now revealing His righteousness as in the years past, and is pouring out His Spirit on His sons and daughters, according to His promise, and His blessing “of the precious things of the everlasting hills.” The Lord, who appeared at Sinai in the burning bush unto Moses His servant, who rose up from Mount Seir, and shined forth in His brightness from Mount Paran, and comes in ten thousands of His saints; even He from whose right hand went a fiery law, so that the people could not behold His glory, this One has now appeared in this the Day of His power, and is yet appearing. His glory shall dazzle the eyes of the world, and His brightness shall make dim all the world’s glory, and stain the world’s wisdom, shutting it up in utter darkness, so that it will seem to have no existence or being. The shadow of death will flee away, and all the haughty and lofty princes of this world shall be horribly afraid. The beasts shall go into their dens when the Day appears, and the lambs of the everlasting fold shall come forth, and be fed in the fat valleys, where the springs of life compass about all the banks, and the lambs shall rejoice in their Shepherd, and say: “The Lord is my Shepherd.” For who has seen His wonders and noble acts from the days of old, of which the fathers (who are fallen asleep and are at rest in the Lord) have told us? But now God is bringing many to see what they witnessed to be true, and to have the same thing fulfilled in themselves. Honor and praise to Him who is the stay and strength of all His people forever.

The Day of the Lord has dawned, and the light has appeared that manifests all things which are reprovable. The Day Star is arisen in the hearts of many, and they have come to see that fulfilled in their hearts which Peter exhorted them to wait for. These have taken heed unto the more sure word of Prophecy, until the Day appeared and did dawn in their hearts. And this Day (when it appears, and to whom it appears) discovers all things, and makes all things manifest, as is declared by the Spirit of Truth in the Scriptures of Truth—“and every man’s work shall be tried, of what sort it is, of what nature it is.” Praises be unto the Lord, for this Day has appeared to many who have waited for it, and now they see everything according to its source and increase, and every tree and fruit is seen according to its kind, whether good or bad. For every man’s work is obvious to those who are in the Day, and upon whom the morning of righteousness has appeared and the sun of righteousness has shined. Thus it can be seen by all (in the Light which is truly called Day, and by the Lord who causes it to spring from on high) what is reprovable and condemnable, and also what is justifiable and unreprovable. All is seen by the Day of the Lord appearing in the heart.

What the Day of the Lord is, how it is seen, and to whom it has appeared.

God is a Spirit, His Day is Spiritual, and is seen with a Spiritual eye. It is pure light, pure brightness, the pure shining forth of the Lord in His glorious excellence. It is the shining forth of eternity. It is life manifesting itself in brightness. It is holiness shedding itself abroad in its glory and purity, spreading itself in its immeasurable excellency, and it can only be seen as it is by the children of light that are born of it.

There is a natural day and there is a spiritual Day. The natural day receives its brightness from the sun; the spiritual Day receives its brightness from the Sun “son” of Righteousness (who is the Fountain of Life), by whom it is brought forth, and without whom nothing is made or brought forth. The natural day receives its clearness from the natural sun, and is discerned by the natural eye of the natural man, and all things natural are seen and discovered by and in the natural day, and are clear and obvious to him that has natural sight. Even so, the Day of God receives its brightness from the Sun of Righteousness, the Lord of glory, light, and purity. It issues out from Him by the rays of His brightness and is discerned and seen only by the spiritual eye of the spiritual man who is of the image of the Father, brought forth in His life and in His own nature and quality. This is the birth which is from above (from God the Father of life, by Jesus the life of men and the light of the world). Only he who is of the nature of the Father and the Son, and of their Day, comes to behold this Day, and to discern all things of the Father’s kingdom by it. Such can discern all the hidden things of dishonesty, and the works of darkness which are brought forth by the prince of darkness—who is shut up in eternal and utter darkness, which is his residence and dwelling place forever, and will be the eternal residence of all workers of iniquity that bear his image.

Objection: But some may be ready to say, “But all things are not yet made manifest, nor has that Day come, nor has it appeared to any in this age!”

Answer: What if a man that is naturally blind says there is no light in the natural day or in the sun, simply because he sees none. Is there therefore no light in the day or in the sun? And what if all things seem alike unto him, both day and night, because he can distinguish nothing? Does this therefore make void the seeing, or hinder the discerning, of those who indeed see with the natural eye both the sun and the day? Likewise, what if they who are spiritually blind, and are children of the night, say they can see nothing of the Day of the Lord, nor discover the things of God, or His glorious appearance, which many others do witness? Does this therefore make void the spiritual sight of those who have seen into the things of God’s kingdom? May God forbid that the unbelief of some make void the faith of those that do believe.
