As many know, this injury began on January 29th. As a direct result, all outreaches had to be cancelled. Living Proof Las Vegas was the most affected by this attack on my spine.
Logic said to pass on Las Vegas until next year. Logic made me angry. I finally told my staff “the next thing we do is Vegas no matter what.” That meant severe financial exposure if we eliminated events that were ready to go, in favor of one we had to build again from scratch.
We made a decision by faith to keep everything intact in Las Vegas.
-We went ahead with the luncheon back in April, and the tent would go up before Mother’s day as promised.
-We kept the crew of nearly 50 workers in Las Vegas.
-The meter kept running on the hotels, the airline tickets, and a long list of items that go into a tent crusade. We went ahead and gave away 20,000 card invitations, and 1,000 posters on schedule.
-We are talking tens of thousands of dollars with no guarantee I could preach at this event.
I laid in the back of an SUV for 8 hours to go to the luncheon. I had hoped to preach to the 90 plus leaders who came to lunch. The best I could do was stand for 7 minutes before I had to recline on a chair. That was almost devastating.
We bravely soldiered on and fired up the troops. Right afterwards, I was bundled into the backseat for another 8 hours back to Reno. In the natural, there was still no reason to believe I would be ready by Mother’s day.
Don’t forget, even at this rate—if you understand my condition—my recovery has been remarkable. What we needed was a breakthrough that overruled medical science.
Here’s the breaking news: I took a power walk and I will never forget what happened on that walk. This is the first day we can publicly state that I am ready to stand and minister in the power of God. We will be in Las Vegas and many souls will be saved and healed. The breakthrough we trusted God for has come!

The chief of police contacted us because he heard about the ten prayer tents we have in the neighborhoods. He sent officers to show us the best locations and watch over us.
The people of God even prayed in a break in the heat next week!
What Satan meant for evil, God has turned to good. I am coming to Vegas with pent-up Pentecost! If you live anywhere near Las Vegas don’t even think of missing my first miracle services since January. All Glory goes to Jesus for this miracle. Hallelujah!

We pray that You keep him and his team ever behind the hedge of Your Favor and Protection through which the enemy can not pass (Job 1:10), covered under the power of the Blood of Jesus (Exod. 12:13; Rev. 12:11) impenetrable to the attacks of the enemy that awaits him (Mat. 16:18). Your recent ordeal has prepared you well for the battle awaiting you like none other before. Be strengthened and encouraged! The “voice in your cry” has been elevated to send a woe into the enemy’s camp (1Sam. 4:1-11)! “God has come into the camp. Woe to us! For nothing like this has happened before!” (v.7).

Dear Brother Mario, I know what you are talking about I had back trouble since 1986 .. Have had two back surgeries three discs taken out of my back,and still have trouble at times where I can’t even get out of bed. See I worked in the coalmines of Ky. Underground in 24″ coal. But pray for that God heal you and deliver you from your pain. Brother John

As I have prayed for you the word I kept getting and believing for was BREAKTHROUGH! I do believe this is a personal word for you, but also for Las Vegas among some of the most needy and surprisingly hungry people. Expect great things to break forth on every front. It wasn’t my spine, but one day at work I was so filled with pain I fell to the floor, writhing in agony. One of my Scripture Memory Cards was Psalms 50:15, “And call upon me in the day of trouble. I WILL deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify ME.” I told our gracious heavenly Father “it’s the day of trouble, Lord! I have to be able to stand to do my job. What am I fighting?” He told me what the enemy was using, I placed Satan’s weapon under the blood and the name of Jesus…
And ten minutes later I was totally pain free!!!
