TAKING AUTHORITY OVER WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES

What do you call it when politicians ram through legislation without informing the public? What do you call it when they attack those with honest questions?  What do you call it when politicians say their new laws protect small groups when in fact they only punish their political enemies?

What should we call it when Senators manipulate language to vilify anyone who disagrees with their agenda?  And finally, what should we call it when the real goal is not equality, justice, or truth, but an attempt to control the people?  You call it war.

The sooner you realize they have declared war on you and those you love; the sooner you can take appropriate action.  Many Christians have never been taught spiritual warfare.  In this user friendly era the language of war is scarce and  unwelcome.

Now that we are losing our freedoms—now that the vile behavior of the back alley is on main street—now that families see the culture absorbing the faith of their children—believers are open to studying authority over Satan.

Ephesians 6: 10-13 says “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.   For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

See where it says “wiles of the devil?” That is what is happening in Sacramento.  The tangled web of deceit and bias is clearly the wile of the devil.  See where it says “withstand in the evil day?”  That day has come to California.   This is the day for you—the willing warrior to be used by God.  Today, you put on all the armor of God.

It is obvious why believers in California should be interested in the damage Sacramento is doing but why should those of you not from California be alarmed?

A major article came out that said America should be ruled by one party—the Democratic Party.  At any other time, we could ignore such babbling but…Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey called the article “a great read.”  The captains of social media lean far left and wholeheartedly believe in this takeover of America.  Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and most social media have been censoring Conservatives and Christians for years even though they deny it.  Now, the voices of Christian Conservatives are being purged from all media.  All of this is pouring out of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Way too many ministers taught easy believism and made Christians apathetic when they needed to take action.   Too many preachers today remind us, “it’s all in God’s hands.” While that is a comforting truth it is not the one we need right now.  That’s been an excuse to be passive and missing in action.

But everywhere you look in the Bible it is against passivity and advocates action: “fight the good fight of faith…” “Endure hardness as a good soldier…” “Resist the devil…” “Take the sword of the Spirit…”

It is urgent that we pray in a way we have never prayed before.  Stand between heaven and earth as a true intercessor.  Invoke the Name above all Names to get to the very Throne of God with your petition.  Do what Moses did when he raised the rod of Aaron over the battle. When you pray, pray violently, pray exactingly, detailing the damage you want done and where you want it done. By the Spirit, speak directly to evil powers. Call them out and cast them down.  Cut their power over California.

Here is the great promise: When God sees someone take up the mighty weapons of God—in the Name of Jesus—and attempt the impossible—God will muster all of the resources of heaven to bring that someone total victory.

It is time to preach with more boldness and miracles than ever before.  At the first attempt to silence the church Peter prayed this prayer:  Acts 4:29,30 says, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your Holy Servant Jesus.”

We cannot escape the urgency of revival in California.  California in its current condition can pull the nation down with it…but  revivals here have always overflowed America.

My last words are to all voting age Christians in California: it is time to call your State Senator on Monday and at least before Thursday when they vote on California Assembly Bill 2943 that will lead to banning the Bible in California.  WE MUST ACT BEFORE THURSDAY.

When you email or call your Senator be firm but polite. Tell them you will be voting in the next election and that you will be campaigning for politicians who reflect your values.

Our spiritual wars are first fought in prayer closets and then our victories are public. Pray confusion on the enemy. War is both a noun and a verb. War, the noun, requires a declaration and a determination to win. War, the verb, is the engagement with the enemy. Sun Tzu is credited with saying” Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated Warriors go to war first and then seek to win.” God grant us wisdom to win in this war to follow his lead and his word.

Just completed a 50day fast and prayer for turnaround in California’s culture with Lou Engle’s Call. There are prayer groups all over California right now doing battle. I have never felt more hopeful for this state. Both of my parents were born here as was I 73 years ago. I watched the deterioration. I was saved during the Jesus movement in the early a70’s. I have fresh hope and promises. God is uniting the church, bringing revival and transforming the culture as we intercede and live for Jesus!

I agree for Canada as well.
But, when words are plural, NO apostrophe needed. That rather is used to denote possessiveness. ie: “that purse is Karen’s.”
