P.S. SOME IMPORTANT THINGS I REALLY NEED TO SAY

by | Feb 28, 2018 | Christianity Today | 20 comments

You heard I received a miracle.  Now there are some important things I need to say.  Please take a moment.  These are things that are really heavy on my heart to say to you.  I don’t want you to get the wrong idea.

You would think that after how much I suffered I would be overjoyed with my healing.  Instead it broke me.  Even in the depths of my agony I prayed and said “Jesus, there are so many in greater need of miracles than I am.  Please touch them Lord Jesus.”

When He chose to heal me, the goodness and mercy I experienced shook me to my core. I actually felt the fear of the Lord.  I felt an urgency to make certain things very clear to whoever knew about my miracle.

Healings are not trophies, they are testimonies.  When God gives you a miracle you come under an obligation to give God all the glory and to share it with others to encourage their faith to receive also.

2 Chronicles 32: 25 says, “But Hezekiah did not repay according to the favor shown him, for his heart was lifted up; therefore wrath was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem.”  Hezekiah received a great miracle.  But he treated his healing like it was a trophy.

I was not healed because thousands were praying for me but because people prayed in faith.  You may feel discouraged thinking, “I don’t have that many people praying for me.”

If you need a miracle, the promise of Matthew 18:19 is yours!  “If any two of you shall agree as touching anything it will be done.”  Right now I want everyone who wrote me with their prayer requests to be healed.  I want you to know that Jesus wants to heal you and that releasing your faith will never go unrewarded.

I am grateful for my healing but I am aware of so many who are suffering far worse health challenges than I did.  It truly breaks my heart and it is important to me to encourage them.

After God heals you the enemy will try to steal your miracle.  Luke 8:11 tells us, “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts…”

He comes to steal as soon as you are healed.

John 5:14 says, “Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

Satan will tell you, you weren’t really healed.  Old symptoms will try to come back.  The miracle is not the end of your fight…it is the beginning.  Think about it: when a tumor leaves, when pain vanishes and strength returns we have the proof of our healing.  To let Satan rob you after such a clear miracle is sin.

You must take your stand and confess your healing against the thief of miracles.  Symptoms will subside and you will feel the glow of your miracle once again.

Don’t forget the lessons of your affliction:  God didn’t make you sick but He did use it to force you to grow.  Look at 2 Corinthians 16: 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”

Here’s a great quote about this: “Every wise workman takes his tools away from the work from time to time that they may be ground and sharpened; so does the only-wise Jehovah take his ministers oftentimes away into darkness and loneliness and trouble, that he may sharpen and prepare them for harder work in his service.” -Robert Murray M’Cheyne

I made a list of new demands that the Holy Spirit put on me now that He had my undivided attention.  I shall obey them with unswerving devotion.  I don’t want to take this class again.

Please pray about all I have said and may God give you wisdom.

God has been telling me to share my testimony even about my husband laying lifeless as paramedics tried shocking him then my son saw a snake around my husband’s neck in the spirit. He rebuked a python spirit off my husband and his heart began to beat. He lived 13 more yrs with other miracle testimony. GLORY to GOD!!!

Mario I have felt your love for the Lord , and the lost ever since the 80’s , when you preached on TBN , I will pray with fervency , as the Lord leads . There are very few ministers that I call faithful and true , but you and Billy Graham are two people with Integrity, truth ,and faithfulness . I appreciate your selfless dedication to the lost , and have , and will pray for you always ! I do not say this lightly , in fact I say very little about preachers unless I know God approves , and with tears in my eyes , I can honestly say God definitely loves and approves of you !!! I will lift you before the throne of God always !!!!!!!❤️?

You are so right. If we walked on a bed of roses all the time we would be weak Christians. We have a challenger and enemy (Satan) who God does use to strengthen us. Satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but God has come that we might have life and that more abundantly. Yes, we have to fight with our faith and God’s Word. One way that God has helped me to overcome is by recognizing the enemy’s tactics are negative thoughts, where God’s promises are positive. Satan brings fear, but God gives us faith through His Word. His promises are yes and amen to those who love and obey Him. His Word is our Sword which, when spoken in faith, will conquer the evil one. PRAISE GOD!!

Thank you for sharing what the Holy Spirit has revealed to you. It is truly a humbling experience to receive a miracle such as this. It’s so very personal and the magnitude of it is beyond measure. Why God heals some and not others will remain one of the mysteries that anger/discourage some and baffle others. I Peter 4:13 is a scripture I offen refer to for encouragement in the midst of battle as I stand in awe of Him. The Apostle Paul is one of the greatest examples of suffering for Christ and counting it all as joy!
What a mighty and awesome God we serve! Again, thankful for Gods Healing Hand upon your life.

“Healing’s are not trophies, they are testimonies” This is a very powerful word. This is the kind of teaching that only comes from the Holy Spirit ” School of the Spirit”. Amen

Mario and Friends, I told you about my recent miracle healing that was similar in pain and back, hip, related disfunction as your’s Mario. Yes, you are correct Mario, I know this because of how I’ve had to fight the good fight of faith declaring my healing over and over again throughout the last 2 months. Reminding the powers & principalities of their submission to Christ.
Drs said my pain level was consistently a level 9, 10 being unbearable on their pain scale. That pain level basically disappeared when King Yeshua healed me however…I’ve still got a level of discomfort in that old injury region of my body, and on stormy days it increases. Yet, I DO NOT have that same old endless pain that made me unable to walk straight or bend or lift, or sit, or sleep for 2 1/2 years. I am waiting now for my old injury which is tantamount to an extensive fresh scar inside my spinal nerve system, to catch up with exactly what The Lord has done which is to RENEW me day by day. One must STAND by their miracle supporting the good work The Lord has done in You knowing He’ll bring it to completion.

It’s really not a strange way to receive a miracle….. Think of Job and look at the very last chapter. All was restored to Job when ?… WHEN HE PRAYED FOR HIS FRIENDS…. Think about it… he suffered so greatly and the advise he ended up getting from others was to “curse God and die”….. Did he do it? NO. Job stayed in an attitude of trusting God. Did God restore all to him because he cried out? NO…. God restored all things back to Job when he what? Prayed for his friends. He became totally unselfish. Took his eyes off his own agony and became aware that even though he is experiencing great suffering, they needed God more in his eyes. He saw their condition worse than his. He prayed for them and all was restored to Job….. When we intercede for others and are touched by their needs and it pulls us away from concentrating solely on our needs… God will do miraculous things… and he did.. 🙂

    Got out of church tonight.
I am encouraged God realy is working behind the scenes in peoples lives and
    Preparing miracles.

Mario your miracle is bigger than healing in your body.
Its about the destiny of so many people, couples going into ministry who would never concider it.
Mario the ministry is plagued with terrible marriages you and your precious wife will effect couples so powerfully.
This is way bigger rhan any of us know!
Nations of the earth impacted by young missionary couples.
Cities here in america as well.
    Your miracle is for many!

It seems calloused to say, but the truth is God does not respond to need, he responds to faith. There was a crowd thronging Jesus for miracles, but one woman pressed through the crowd and touched him by faith. “Thy faith has made you whole”
I was given a window of opportunity when you spoke by word of knowledge that diabetes was present in the section where I was seated. Had I not acted on the faith God had so mercifully given me and stood up in faith, I could easily have carried that disease to the grave. “But without faith it is impossible to please him”
Studying some of the faith preachers of the fifties I noticed that they were risk takers. They would put themselves in the position to look ridiculous if God did not manifest healing. The woman with the issue of blood was a risk taker. It was unlawful for her to mix in a public setting as she did, but her faith pushed her past her fear and reasoning. Her faith was rewarded miraculously!
The men who tore off the roof of a private home and let their friend down in the midst of Jesus preaching were risk takers, and their faith was rewarded. Peter (I love him) was a risk taker. He got out of the boat on one word from Jesus..”come” His faith began to waver when he noticed the violence of the sea but when Jesus took him by the hand they turned and walked back to the boat on the sea and we are still talking about it to this day. Plenty of boat sitters, God give us some risk takers!

      Amen!

    • Deidra

Amen, to the risk takers. Thank you for sharing.
